Church of the Holy Family (Staten Island)

Peter Houseman House is a historic home located at Westerleigh, Staten Island, New York. It consists of two sections, one built about 1730 and the second about 1760. The older section is a 1+1⁄2-story, stone wing built of fieldstone painted white. The newer section is a 1+1⁄2-story, large frame section with a gable roof.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Ingram Woods is a 3.7-acre forest preserve in the Westerleigh neighborhood of Staten Island, New York, bound by Warwick Avenue, Purdy Avenue, Ingram Avenue, and Gannon Avenue North. The streets around Ingram Woods Park were laid out in 1907 by the firm of Wood, Harmon & Co. for the planned community of South New York. The properties were offered at the bargain price of $190, but because of the neighborhood's isolated location, only a few homes were built by the time that the City began laying out the Staten Island Expressway. The property was acquired by the city in 1957 as part of constructing the Expressway. Along the highway's path, four other parks were designated along with Ingram Woods: Bradys Pond Park, Sports Park, Father Macris Park, and Westwood Park. The park contains a lush forest planted with pin oaks, sweetgum, and sugar maple trees.

Cherry Lane Cemetery was a 19th-century burial ground located in the Westerleigh section of Staten Island, New York. Established by members of the Second Asbury African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, the cemetery was the final resting place of free and formerly enslaved black Staten Islanders until the 1950s, when the land was redeveloped into a Shell station, and then in the 1980s as a shopping plaza. Although the cemetery was never formally registered under the name "Cherry Lane," that designation has been adopted in modern historical and media accounts. In the 2020s, the site became the focus of descendant-led preservation efforts and scholarly research, leading to the 2023 co-naming of "Benjamin Prine Way" after the most renowned of the interred, and a 2024 dedication of a memorial garden on the former burial ground.

PS 22 is a public elementary school in Graniteville, Staten Island, New York City. Located at 1860 Forest Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10303, the school has over one thousand students in grades Pre-K to K-5 and has a dual language program. PS 22 is the largest elementary school in Staten Island which draws students from a wide cross section of ethnic groups and socio-economic levels. The school has become famous for its PS22 Chorus program founded in 2000 by the school's music teacher, Gregg Breinberg. The choir has become an internet phenomenon with New York magazine calling it "the best-known elementary-school chorus on the planet".

The park is bordered on the north by Forest Avenue, on the south by Wilcox Street, on the east by the Christ United Methodist Church property and the backyards of private homes, all on Eunice Place, and on the west by Van Name Avenue, and in places, backyards of homes on that same street.
