Moel Sych

Cyrniau Nod is a mountain summit in north east Wales. It is a former Marilyn, the Marilyn summit now being the nearby Foel Cedig. Its summit has the Snowdonia National Park boundary running through it. A number of rivers and streams rise from near the mountain including Afon Tanat, Afon Cedig and Nant Ystrad-y-Groes. The views from the summit are extensive, if unremarkable due to the featureless, flat moorland surroundings. The summit is marked by a small cairn surrounded by peat bog. Walking on Cyrniau Nod and its tops is made easier by a track that passes close to every top except Cefn Gwyntog. Otherwise, the walking would be tough indeed, requiring tiresome bog crossing for miles.

Foel Wen (pronounced [ˈvɔil ˈwɛn]) is a subsidiary summit of Cadair Berwyn in north east Wales. It is one of the summits found on the most easterly of Cadair Berwyn's long south ridges. The summit is grassy, and the entire face of Craig Berwyn can be viewed. To the north lies Tomle, while to the south lies its south top and Mynydd Tarw.

Stac Rhos is a top of Pen y Boncyn Trefeilw in north east Wales. It forms a part of the Berwyn range called the Hirnantau. The views from the summit are extensive, if unremarkable due to the featureless, flat moorland surroundings. The summit is marked by a small cairn, and a boundary stone. To the east is Cyrniau Nod, while Cefn Gwyntog is to the south-east.

Godor North Top is a top of Cadair Berwyn in north east Wales. It is the lower twin summit of Godor. The summit is a grassy, marked by a pile of stones.

Cadair Berwyn North Top or Cadair Berwyn (Old Top) (height 827 metres (2,713 ft) is a top of Cadair Berwyn in north east Wales. It is jointly the second highest summit in the Berwyn range along with Moel Sych (though an accurate survey in 2014 does suggest Moel Sych may be slightly lower at 826.7 metres (2,712 ft)). The summit was often considered to be the highest summit in the Berwyns until the OS discovered a new top in between it and Moel Sych, which is 5m higher at 832m. This top, now known as Cadair Berwyn, is listed as Cadair Berwyn New Top on the Nuttall list. The summit is the highest point in the modern Denbighshire council area (possibly jointly with Moel Sych), but not the historic county (which is the higher summit of Cadair Berwyn). The summit has a trig point. To the north-east is Cadair Bronwen, to the south-east is Tomle, Foel Wen and Mynydd Tarw.

Moel y Cerrig Duon is a subsidiary summit of Esgeiriau Gwynion in Gwynedd in north Wales. Moel y Cerrig Duon tops the eastern end of a long peat bog plateau along with Llechwedd Du. Its summit has a conical shape, rising suddenly from the bog. The summit itself is grassy, marked by a small cairn and a stake. To the north-east is Foel y Geifr, to the east Cyrniau Nod and to the west is Llechwedd Du, Esgeiriau Gwynion, and Aran Fawddwy. The Aran range continues south from Moel y Cerrig Duon forming a large area of high moorland to the west of Lake Vyrnwy, crowned by Mynydd Coch. To the north it continues to Foel y Geifr, the eastern outpost of the Aran Fawddwy range.

Tomle is a top of Cadair Berwyn in north east Wales. It is the highest of the summits found on the most easterly of Cadair Berwyn's long south ridges. Tomle's summit is boggy and unmarked. To the north, the ridge continues up to Cadair Berwyn North Top. The Craig Berwyn face starting on the west side of the ridge. To the south lies Foel Wen, Foel Wen South Top and Mynydd Tarw.

Post Gwyn is a subsidiary summit of Cadair Berwyn in north east Wales. It is the western outpost of the main central Berwyn range. The range also includes the Hirnantau to the west, which are crowned by Cyrniau Nod. The summit is the highest bump on the most westerly of Cadair Berwyn's long south ridges. This ridge has a peat bog covering, with the heather being very deep. No well trodden paths have developed here and the summit is seldom visited. The summit is marked by a pile of stones and offers views of Cwm Rhiwarth. The south ridge continues towards the summit of Glan-hafon, which at 608m is under 2000 ft.

Foel Wen South Top is a top of Foel Wen in north east Wales. It is one of the summits found on the most easterly of Cadair Berwyn's long south ridges. The summit is grassy, and unmarked. To the north lies Tomle, while to the south lies its Mynydd Tarw.

Moel yr Ewig is a top of Cadair Berwyn in north east Wales. It lies on ridge heading south from Cadair Berwyn's summit. The summits of Godor and Godor North Top are to be found further down the ridge. The summit is a grassy knoll marked by a few stones.

Llechwedd Du is a subsidiary summit of Esgeiriau Gwynion in north Wales. It forms a long peat bog plateau that start at the end of Esgeiriau Gwynion's south ridge, and ends with the higher summit of Moel y Cerrig Duon. The summit is located on one of the large peat hags at the western edge of the plateau, and is marked by a few stones. To the east is Moel y Cerrig Duon, Foel y Geifr and the Berwyn range, to the south is Gwaun Lydan and to the west is Aran Fawddwy and Foel Hafod-fynydd. The plateau is crossed by a road at Bwlch y Groes, the pass between Llechwedd Du and Moel y Cerrig Duon.

Mynydd Tarw (pronounced [ˈmənɨð ˈtaru]) is a subsidiary summit of Cadair Berwyn in north east Wales. It used to have a top: Rhos which has now been deleted as a Nuttall. The summit has a large shelter cairn. The views are extensive, with the lower; northern and western Berwyns visible, including Pen Bwlch Llandrillo. Cadair Berwyn, Godor, Moel yr Ewig and Foel Wen are also in view.
