Bras Basah Complex is a mixed-use building on Bain Street in Bras Basah, Singapore that houses both residential and commercial units. From the 1980s to the early 2000s, it was known for its numerous bookstores. It was also a popular venue amongst xinyao singers in the 1980s.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has a constitutional role to appoint, confirm, promote, transfer, dismiss and exercise disciplinary control over public officers in Singapore. It is constituted under Part IX of the Constitution of Singapore. The PSC also retains two key non-constitutional roles. The National Library, Singapore is the flagship national library of Singapore. A subsidiary of the National Library Board (NLB), it is located on an 11,304–square metre site in Victoria Street within the Downtown Core. It is the country's largest public library.The library has regional branches throughout the city-state such as in Jurong, Tampines and Woodlands as well as affiliations with academic and professional libraries. The branch libraries are open to the general public and consist of circulating libraries. The National Library also consists of research libraries, which are also open to the general public.

Raffles Hotel is a colonial-style luxury hotel in Singapore. It was established by Armenian hoteliers, the Sarkies Brothers, in 1887. The hotel was named after British statesman Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles, the founder of modern Singapore.It is the flagship property of Raffles Hotels & Resorts, and is managed by AccorHotels after Accor acquired FRHI Hotels & Resorts. The hotel is owned by Qatar-based, government-owned Katara Hospitality. The hotel commenced Phase 3 of a three-phase restoration programme on 13 December 2017 and reopened in August 2019 following the completion of the renovation.

Bras Basah (Chinese: 百胜, Tamil: பிராஸ்) is a district located in the Museum Planning Area of the Central Area of Singapore. Bras Basah (Modern Spelling: Beras Basah) means "wet rice" in Malay – beras means harvested rice with husk removed, and basah means wet. The precinct houses several landmarks including Fairmont Singapore, Raffles Hotel, the Singapore Art Museum, the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd and the Singapore Management University. A Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station, Bras Basah MRT station, is on the Circle line.

Singapore has had two tramway networks forming part of its public transport arrangements. Both networks were relatively unsuccessful and short lived.

South Beach is a commercial and residential complex located on Beach Road in the Downtown Core of Singapore. It is composed of a hotel tower managed by JW Marriott Hotels, an office tower, shops and residences. The project includes the restoration of four conservation buildings – the former Non-Commissioned Officers' Club building and part of the former Beach Road Camp. It is accessible from Esplanade MRT station. The complex was designed by Foster + Partners and completed in 2016.

The Jewellery Design and Management International School (Abbreviation: JDMIS) is a school specializing in the jewellery industry based in Singapore. The JDMIS is a jewellery design and management school that provides education and inspiration by means of academic programs in jewellery design, history, marketing and management as well as vocational training in the technology and production of designer jewellery.

Shaw Tower, also sometimes referred to as Shaw Towers, is a defunct high-rise commercial building located on Beach Road in Singapore. At the time of its completion in 1975, the tower housed the largest cinema in Singapore.The building was part of the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s plans in the 1960s to create a “Golden Mile” stretch of mixed-use buildings that merged living, work, and play.

Victoria Street (Chinese: 维多利亚街) is a major two-way road in Singapore. It links Kallang Road in the northeast with Hill Street in the southwest. En route, Victoria Street passes through the planning areas of Kallang, Rochor, Downtown Core and Museum.

Fairmont Singapore (Chinese: 费尔蒙特酒店), formerly Raffles The Plaza (Chinese: 莱佛士大厦) is the sister hotel of Swissôtel The Stamford located within the Raffles City complex in Singapore. It has a total of 778 rooms and suites housed within two 26-storey towers. Opened as The Westin Plaza in 1986, the hotel was refurbished together with Swissôtel The Stamford, formerly known as the Westin Stamford, and was renamed Raffles The Plaza on 1 January 2002 and Fairmont Singapore on 12 December 2007 with a change in branding. In September 2019, Fairmont Singapore completed its renovation of the South Tower. Both hotels are currently managed by Fairmont Raffles Hotels International. Fairmont Singapore currently houses one of Asia's largest spas - Willow Stream, formerly RafflesAmrita Spa, and shares all sports and recreation facilities with Swissôtel The Stamford. The hotel is connected to Swissôtel The Stamford, Raffles City Convention Centre, Raffles City, City Hall MRT station, and CityLink Mall. In 2005, the 117th IOC Session was held in the Raffles City Convention Centre, located in Raffles City. Most IOC members stayed in this hotel, as did several well-known figures who came to the city to support their cities' bids. In 2006, the hotel's service area in the basement became an expanded retail area of Raffles City with 50 new shops.

Caldwell House was a historical building designed and built by George Drumgoole Coleman from 1840 to 1841 in Singapore. It was the oldest building of the CHIJMES complex since 1854. It currently serves as a venue known as the Alcove at Caldwell House for wedding functions.
