St Mary's School, Worcester (also known as Worcester's Girls' School) was an independent day school for girls aged 0–18 (and boys aged 0–5) in Worcester, England. The school was located at a Victorian mansion centered on a 15-acre campus. Following a surprise announcement that the school had become impossible to run partly due to recession, the school ceased operations at the end of the summer term 2014.

Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College is a coeducational Roman Catholic secondary school located in Worcester, England, locally referred to as "Blesseds". It is a co-educational school, in which there are just over 1,000 students, aged between 11 and 16. The school was opened in 1963 as Blessed Edward Oldcorne School by the local Roman Catholic community and named after Edward Oldcorne, a Jesuit priest executed in 1606 for his part in the Gunpowder plot. The current head of the school is Greg Mcclarey who took over from Sean Devlin as head at the end of the 2016–2017 academic year. The school has a wide catchment area and takes pupils from Droitwich, Pershore and Malvern within Worcestershire. In 2011, 98% of pupils achieved five or more A*-C grades for GCSEs. The school is rated as a 'Category 1' school by the Local Authority.

Norton is a village in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire, 0.8 miles (1.3 km) from the boundary of the City of Worcester, England. The village sits within the Norton Juxta Kempsey civil parish and is split in two by the M5 motorway, with the original village to the east. The village saw considerable development in 1990s, mainly centred on the large decommissioned military Norton Barracks, which have been converted into apartments. The village is the location of St Peter's Garden Centre and Worcester Cricket Club. Worcester Norton Hockey Club also originates from the village, but now play and train at nearby Nunnery Wood High School, Worcester.

Diglis is a suburb of Worcester, England. It is located around half a mile south of the city centre on the banks of the River Severn. The Worcester and Birmingham Canal starts in Diglis where it is connected to the Severn. Diglis Lock is a wide-beam lock allowing river craft access to Diglis Basin. Diglis Island is a sliver of land in the middle of the River Severn opposite the opening of The Worcester and Birmingham Canal, which has featured art displays and tours. Diglis House Hotel sits on the banks of the River Severn to the south of Worcester Cathedral. The area immediately next to the river is often affected by flooding such as in autumn 2000 and summer 2007. New apartments have been built in Diglis and there has been some investment in the waterfront areas which are popular with tourists. Diglis Bridge, a pedestrian and cycle bridge across the Severn, opened in 2010 linking Diglis and St Peter's with Lower Wick. In 2021, Princess Anne opened a fish viewing gallery at the Severn Bridge.

Diglis Basin is a canal basin on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal. It is situated in Diglis in the centre of Worcester, England, near The Commandery (a command post during the English Civil War). To the north is Tibberton (8.41 miles and 14 locks away) and to the west is Diglis Junction (0.25 miles and 2 locks to the west) where the canal meets the River Severn. It is the first basin (with associated amenities) reached after joining the canal from the River Severn.

Red Hill is an area of Worcester, Worcestershire, England. It is in the south-east of the city on the A44. It has historically been used as high ground to attack the city and as a place of execution.

The Commandery is a historic building open to visitors and located in the city of Worcester, England. It opened as a museum in 1977 and was for a while the only museum in England dedicated solely to the Civil Wars. The Commandery ceased to be a Civil War museum when it reopened to the public in May 2007, having undergone a year and a half of refurbishments and reinterpretation jointly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Worcester City Council, who own the building. It is a Grade I listed building.

The Museum of Royal Worcester (formerly Worcester Porcelain Museum and Dyson Perrins Museum) is a ceramics museum located in the Royal Worcester porcelain factory's former site in Worcester, England.

Lea & Perrins (L&P) is a United Kingdom-based subsidiary of Kraft Heinz, originating in Worcester, England, where it continues to operate. It is best known as the maker of Lea & Perrins brand of Worcestershire sauce, which was first sold in 1837 by John Wheeley Lea and William Henry Perrins, dispensing chemists from Broad Street, Worcester. It was inspired by Marcus Sandys, 3rd Baron Sandys who had served in Bengal and tasted a fish sauce there which he asked them to recreate but ended up putrid until it lay fermenting for three years. It is currently produced in the Midland Road factory in Worcester that Lea and Perrins built. The sauce was first imported to the United States by the Duncan family of New York in 1839 which continued involvement for over a hundred years. A subsidiary in Pittsburgh currently manufactures an American version of the recipe.

Fownes Hotel and Restaurant is a hotel in Worcester, England, along the canalside. It is situated in an old Victorian glove factory. It has 63 rooms. The three-storey red brick building, with twenty-five bays, dates to 1882–4, when it was built by Yeates & Jones, 1882–4. It was later extended. It is described as having a "classic English restaurant, where meals are served on Royal Worcester porcelain".

The King's School, Worcester is an English independent day school refounded by Henry VIII in 1541. It occupies a site adjacent to Worcester Cathedral on the banks of the River Severn in the centre of the city of Worcester. It offers mixed-sex mainstream education that follows the UK National Curriculum to around 1,465 pupils aged 2 to 18. At age 11, approximately two thirds of pupils join the senior school from its two prep schools, King's Hawford and King's St Albans, while others come from maintained schools in the city of Worcester and the surrounding areas that include Malvern, Redditch, Kidderminster, Evesham and Pershore.
