Roppongi Hills

Roppongi (六本木, "six trees") is a district of Minato, Tokyo, Japan, famous for the affluent Roppongi Hills development area and popular night club scene. A few foreign embassies are located near Roppongi, and the night life is popular with locals and foreigners alike. It is in the central part of Tokyo, south of Akasaka and north of Azabu.

Roppongi Hills Mori Tower (六本木ヒルズ森タワー, Roppongi Hiruzu Mori Tawā) is a 54-story mixed-use skyscraper in Roppongi, Minato, Tokyo. Completed in 2003 and named after builder Minoru Mori, it is the centerpiece of the Roppongi Hills urban development. It is the sixth-tallest building in Tokyo at 238 meters (781 ft). The tower has a floor space area of 379,408 square meters (4,083,910 sq ft), making it one of the largest buildings in the world by this measure. The Mori Tower building is primarily used for office space, but it also includes retail stores, restaurants and other attractions. The Mori Art Museum is located on the 53rd floor and visitors can view the city from observation decks on the 52nd and 54th floors. The headquarters of Mori Building Company are located in this building.

Mercari, Inc. (TYO: 4385) is a Japanese e-commerce company founded in 2013. Their main product, the Mercari marketplace app, was first launched in Japan in July 2013, and has since grown to become Japan's largest community-powered marketplace with over JPY 10 billion in transactions carried out on the platform each month. Among those Japanese users utilizing one of the country's many community marketplace apps, 94% were found to be using Mercari.Mercari expanded to the United States in 2014 and the United Kingdom in 2016. The Mercari app has been downloaded over 100 million times worldwide (as of 16 December 2017) and the company is the first in Japan to reach unicorn status.

TV Asahi Building (テレビ朝日本社ビル, Terebi Asahi Honsha Biru) is 8-story office and TV studio building located in Roppongi, Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It houses the headquarters of TV Asahi. The building was designed by architect Fumihiko Maki. Construction was finished in 2003. TV Asahi building is a part of Roppongi Hills, the main entrance atrium is open to visitors. The TV Asahi Building is next to the Mohri Garden.

The Mori Art Museum (森美術館, Mori Bijutsukan) is a contemporary art museum founded by the real estate developer Minoru Mori (1934–2012) in the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower in the Roppongi Hills complex both of which he built in Tokyo, Japan. The exterior architect of the museum's galleries on the 35th floor of the 45 -story tower in which the museum is housed is Richard Gluckman of Gluckman Mayner Architects. The museum does not exhibit a permanent collection but rather temporary exhibitions of works by contemporary artists. Artists whose work has been exhibited at the museum include Ai Weiwei, Gohar Dashti, Tokujin Yoshioka and Bill Viola.The museum's founder Minoru Mori died in March 2012. The museum focuses on contemporary art and primarily exhibits works of Asian artists. It also features the MAM project which exhibits solo shows on a smaller scale in the museum space. In 2015 the museum exhibited Dinh Q. Lê's solo exhibition.

Tokyo Metropolitan Roppongi High School (東京都立六本木高等学校, Tōkyō Toritsu Roppongi Kōtōgakkō) is a public high school in Roppongi, Minato, Tokyo. It is a part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education.

Roppongi Station (六本木駅, Roppongi-eki) is a subway station in Minato, Tokyo, Japan, operated jointly by Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway.

Kanda is a Michelin 3-star kaiseki restaurant located in Minato, Tokyo. It is owned and operated by chef Hiroyuki Kanda.

Nihonryori Ryugin (Kanji: 日本料理龍吟 lit. "Japanese cuisine singing dragon") is a Michelin 3-star fusion cuisine restaurant located in Hibiya, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The chef is Seiji Yamamoto (山本 征治).

Azabu Yukimura (麻布幸村), sometimes referred to simply as Yukimura, is a Michelin 3-star kappo restaurant in Azabu-Jūban, Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It is owned and operated by chef Jun Yukimura (幸村 純).

Velfarre (ヴェルファーレ, Verufāre) was a disco located in the Roppongi district of Tokyo, Japan. Velfarre was the self-professed "largest disco in Asia" with a capacity of 1,500 people, with three floors above ground and three floors below; owned by Tetsuya Komuro and Avex Trax. Velfarre was known for Trance, Eurobeat, Techno, Para Para, and Disco related events. Velfarre held concerts for Avex Trax artists, and was able to be rented for private events.
