Roehampton Club

Fairacres is a Grade II listed four-storey apartment block at Roehampton Lane, Roehampton, London.It was built in 1936 by the architects Anthony Minoprio (1900–1988) and Hugh Spencely (1900–1983), for the property developer Charles Kearley. The block of 64 flats in a semi-elliptical arc is modern in style with 1930s curved walls, but traditional in construction. It is very little altered since being built.There are six acres of private gardens, overlooking the Roehampton Club grounds (and with a secure private entrance) and Richmond Park beyond. Each flat was built with 3–5 bedrooms, 2–3 bathrooms, drawing room, dining room and servant's quarters.

Southlands College, in Roehampton in the London Borough of Wandsworth, is one of four colleges at the University of Roehampton and is the location of the University's Business School and its Department of Media, Culture and Language.It was established by the Methodist Church in 1872, originally in Battersea, as a teacher training college for women and became coeducational in 1965.In 1975, the college became part of the Roehampton Institute of Higher Education, which became Roehampton University in 2004. The college includes Mount Clare House, a grade I listed building designed by Sir Robert Taylor, and a Methodist chapel.

Barnes railway station is a Grade II listed station in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, in southwest London, and is in Travelcard Zone 3. It is 7 miles 7 chains (11.4 km) down the line from London Waterloo. The station and all trains serving it are operated by South Western Railway. It is the nearest station for Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton Club, Rosslyn Park F.C. grounds, and the University of Roehampton.

The Priory Hospital, Roehampton, often referred to as The Priory, is a private mental health hospital in South West London. It was founded in 1872 and is now part of the Priory Group, which was acquired in 2011 by an American private equity firm, Advent International. The Priory has an international reputation and, because of the number of celebrities who have sought treatment there, widespread coverage in the press. The hospital treats mild to moderate mental health issues, such as stress and anxiety, through outpatient treatments such as cognitive behavioural therapy as well as in-patient care for more severe psychiatric illness such as depression, psychotic illness, addictions or eating disorders. It has residential facilities for 107 patients.

Dover House Estate is one of a number of important London County Council cottage estates inspired by the Garden city movement. The land was previously the estates of two large houses, Dover House and Putney Park House, which were purchased by the London County Council soon after World War I. Dover House was demolished for the new estate, but Putney Park House remains.

The University of Roehampton, London, formerly Roehampton Institute of Higher Education, is a public university in the United Kingdom, situated on three major sites in Roehampton, in the London Borough of Wandsworth. The University traces its roots to four institutions founded in the 19th century, which today make up to university's constituent colleges, around which student accommodation is centred: Digby Stuart College, Froebel College, Southlands College and Whitelands College. Between 2000 and 2004, Roehampton, together with the University of Surrey, partnered as the Federal University of Surrey. In 2004, Roehampton became an independent university, and in 2011, it was renamed the University of Roehampton. The university is one of the post-1992 universities. Roehampton is a member of the European University Association and Universities UK. Roehampton's academic faculties include the Faculty of Business and Law, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Life and Health Sciences and Faculty of Psychology. The University achieved a Silver rating in the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework and boasts high rankings in student satisfaction.

Marc Bolan's Rock Shrine is a memorial to Marc Bolan, of glam-rock band T. Rex, on the site where he died in a car crash in Barnes, London, on 16 September 1977. Bolan was a passenger in a car which hit a part-metal and wood fence and then a sycamore tree on Queen's Ride (part of the B306, close to Gipsy Lane). A memorial stone was unveiled at the site in 1997, and a bust of Bolan added in 2002.

The Barnes rail crash, in which 13 people were killed and 41 were injured, occurred at Barnes railway station late in the evening of Friday 2 December 1955.

The United Kingdom's National Tennis Centre at Roehampton in south-west London is the high-performance training facility of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). It was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 29 March 2007. The Chief Executive of the centre is Roger Draper. The centre has 16 outdoor courts, covering all the Grand Slam surfaces, six indoor courts, a gymnasium and sports science and medical facilities. It also houses the administration of the LTA, which was previously based at the Queen's Club in West Kensington.

Grove House is a Grade II* listed house at Roehampton Lane, Roehampton, London.It was built in 1777 by James Wyatt for Sir Joshua Vanneck, but has later alterations and additions.It is part of Froebel College, University of Roehampton.
