Greenmount is a small suburb located in the city of Auckland, in the North Island of New Zealand. The area is on the eastern side of the Auckland city centre and is a large industrial area developed only in recent years. The area is under governance of the Auckland Council, and is home to a number of New Zealand and international businesses and organisations. It is named after the Greenmount or Green Hill volcano.

Green Hill (also Matanginui or Greenmount) is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland volcanic field, located in the suburb of Greenmount. It erupted approximately 20,000 years ago, and its scoria cone had a peak 78 metres above sea level (around 48 m higher than the surrounding land) and had a grove of karaka trees. The hill was the site of a Ngāi Tai iwi pā. It was quarried from 1870 onwards, and has been mostly quarried away. The site is now Greenmount landfill. Green Hill and nearby Otara Hill were together referred to as Bessy Bell and Mary Gray after an old Scottish ballad.

Huntington Park is an eastern suburb of the city of Auckland, New Zealand. The area is bounded on the north by Ti Rakau Drive, on the east by Te Irirangi Drive, and to the south and west by the Greenmount Drainage Reserve. The area is called Greenmount on some maps. The northeast corner contains The Hub shopping mall. Most of the houses were built in the 1990s. Even in 1998, the area was rural.The Guy family farmed in the area for 40 years from the late 19th century. The Guy homestead, built in 1898, was badly damaged by a suspected arson in 2012. The house was later restored.The Hub Botany shopping centre opened in Huntington Park in 2001. It has 200 stores, including a Countdown supermarket.

Guy's Homestead is a late 19th century homestead located in East Auckland, New Zealand, and listed as a Category II building by Heritage New Zealand. After being burnt down in an act of arson it was rebuilt and turned into an early learning centre.

Otara Hill (also Te Puke o Tara or Smales Mount) is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland volcanic field. Its scoria cone reached 89 m above sea level (around 59 m higher than the surrounding land) before it was quarried away. The hill was the site of a pā named “Te Puke Ō Tara” meaning ‘hill belonging to Tara’, who was a Ngāi Tai Rangatira (or Māori Chief) of the area. Like many Auckland volcanoes, Otara Hill has a notable tuff ring. Botany Town Centre is a large shopping mall and lifestyle centre located in Auckland, New Zealand. It has more than 200 stores spread across three complexes, including restaurants and entertainment buildings such as cinemas. It is situated at the corner of Ti Rakau Drive and Chapel Road in the suburb of East Tāmaki, and was opened in 2001.The centre has faced competition since the 2006 opening of the nearby Sylvia Park shopping centre in Mount Wellington, which was built as an enclosed mall. However, Botany Town Centre sees its town centre format as its strength, and considers that elements such as doctors' premises and a library make Botany more attractive.

Burswood is a residential suburb of Auckland which is separated from the rest of the city by the Pakuranga Stream on its west, north and eastern sides, and the major road Ti Rakau Drive on its south. Population density is higher than in most of Auckland, with no quarter acre sections.

East Tāmaki is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. It is a largely industrial area adjacent to a rapidly growing population. Prior to the 1960s it was largely a dairy farming area. A landmark is Smales Mountain which in 2010 has the remains of an old Pa, a stone field garden, an early church, and farm homestead. A newer landmark is the Fo Guang Shan Temple which was the largest Buddhist temple in New Zealand when it opened in 2007.

Botany is a suburb of the East Auckland in New Zealand. It developed in the early 2000s, and is centred around the Botany Town Centre commercial area. Since 2008, a general electorate, Botany, has reflected the name of the suburb.

Hampton Park is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland volcanic field. A small scoria cone reaching 35 metres (114 ft 10 in) above sea level, with a shallow crater around 50 metres (164 ft 1 in) wide, which has been modified by quarrying. The scoria cone sits in the centre of a much larger explosion crater, the eastern arc of the surrounding tuff ring is still present. Stone from the volcano was used to build dry-stone walls and the nearby St John's Church built on the tuff ring crest.

Botany Downs Secondary College is a state coeducational secondary school located in the Auckland, New Zealand suburb of East Tamaki. The school opened at the beginning of the 2004 school year to serve new residential development in the eastern Auckland area. Serving Years 9 to 13, the school has a roll of approximately 1429 students.

Golflands is an eastern suburb of the city of Auckland, New Zealand. The Pakuranga Golf Club is part of the suburb, and many of the streets have names related to golf or notable golf players, such as Bob Charles drive. The golf club was formed in 1969 on leased farmland, which it purchased in 1974 and sold on to Pakuranga Country Club. In 2012, part of the land was sold to Elim Christian College to provide playing fields for their Golflands campus. Another part of the golf course was developed as a retirement home in 2020.The area is bounded by Cascades Drive on the north, Botany Road on the east, Te Rakau Drive on the south, and Pakuranga Stream on the west.
