Botany is a suburb of the East Auckland in New Zealand. It developed in the early 2000s, and is centred around the Botany Town Centre commercial area. Since 2008, a general electorate, Botany, has reflected the name of the suburb.

Elim Christian College is a state-integrated coeducational secondary school located in Botany Downs, a suburb of Manukau City, Auckland, New Zealand. Established in 1988, the school currently caters for approximately 1000 students from new entrants to Year 13, including over 50 international students. The school is associated with Elim Christian Centre. On 15 April 2008, six students and a teacher from the school died in a flash flood while canyoning the Mangatepopo Stream in Tongariro National Park. In 2011 Principal Murray Burton was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit, and the teacher and one of the six students who died given medals for bravery.Elim integrated with Hebron Christian College in 2018.

Guy's Homestead is a late 19th century homestead located in East Auckland, New Zealand, and listed as a Category II building by Heritage New Zealand. After being burnt down in an act of arson it was rebuilt and turned into an early learning centre.

East Auckland (Māori: Te Rāwhiti o Tāmaki Makaurau) is one of the major geographical regions of Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand. Settled in the 14th century, the area is part of the traditional lands of Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki. The area was developed into farmland in the 1840s, and the town of Howick was established as a defensive outpost by fencibles (retired British Army soldiers) to protect Auckland. Coastal holiday communities developed in the area from the 1910s, and from the 1950s underwent major redevelopment into a suburban area of greater Auckland. From the 1980s, the area saw significant Asian New Zealander migrant communities develop.

Northpark is an eastern suburb of the city of Auckland, New Zealand. Most of the houses were built in the 1990s. Before 1990, the area was rural.

Burswood is a residential suburb of Auckland which is separated from the rest of the city by the Pakuranga Stream on its west, north and eastern sides, and the major road Ti Rakau Drive on its south. Population density is higher than in most of Auckland, with no quarter acre sections.

Huntington Park is an eastern suburb of the city of Auckland, New Zealand. The area is bounded on the north by Ti Rakau Drive, on the east by Te Irirangi Drive, and to the south and west by the Greenmount Drainage Reserve. The area is called Greenmount on some maps. The northeast corner contains The Hub shopping mall. Most of the houses were built in the 1990s. Even in 1998, the area was rural.The Guy family farmed in the area for 40 years from the late 19th century. The Guy homestead, built in 1898, was badly damaged by a suspected arson in 2012. The house was later restored.The Hub Botany shopping centre opened in Huntington Park in 2001. It has 200 stores, including a Countdown supermarket.

Botany Town Centre is a large shopping mall and lifestyle centre located in Auckland, New Zealand. It has more than 200 stores spread across three complexes, including restaurants and entertainment buildings such as cinemas. It is situated at the corner of Ti Rakau Drive and Chapel Road in the suburb of East Tāmaki, and was opened in 2001.The centre has faced competition since the 2006 opening of the nearby Sylvia Park shopping centre in Mount Wellington, which was built as an enclosed mall. However, Botany Town Centre sees its town centre format as its strength, and considers that elements such as doctors' premises and a library make Botany more attractive.

Botany Downs is an eastern suburb of the city of Auckland, New Zealand. This residential area previously formed part of the East Tāmaki area. In terms of local-body administration, the suburb lies in the Howick ward, one of the thirteen administrative divisions of the Auckland Council. Since 2008, a general electorate, Botany, has reflected the name of the suburb.

Pakuranga United Rugby Club is a rugby union club based in Auckland, New Zealand. The club is affiliated with the Auckland Rugby Football Union.

Botany Downs Secondary College is a state coeducational secondary school located in the Auckland, New Zealand suburb of East Tamaki. The school opened at the beginning of the 2004 school year to serve new residential development in the eastern Auckland area. Serving Years 9 to 13, the school has a roll of approximately 1429 students.

Howick Historical Village is a living museum in Auckland, New Zealand. It is a re-creation of a New Zealand colonial village using surviving buildings from the surrounding area. Despite its name, the Village is actually located in the suburb of Pakuranga.
