Little Rangitoto

Corran School was a small independent girls' school catering for students from ages 5 to 18 located in Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand. This school was established in 1947 by Mrs Constance Duthie. It closed at the end of 2009, and Saint Kentigern School for Girls was established at the site of the former school.

Auckland Hebrew Congregation is a Modern Orthodox synagogue in Remuera, a suburb of Auckland. The congregation previously occupied University House (Princes Street Synagogue) from 1885, before relocating to a larger building on Greys Avenue in 1968. The congregation moved again in 2022, having purchased the campus of Saint Kentigern Girls' School in Remuera. The synagogue serves around 500 local families.

College Rifles Rugby Union Football & Sports Club are a rugby union club based in Auckland, New Zealand. The club was established in 1897 by members of the Volunteer Corps, and today accepts male and female players at senior and junior levels. The club is affiliated with the Auckland Rugby Football Union.In addition to the club's primary sport of rugby union, College Rifles is active in badminton, football 7's, netball, lacrosse, tennis and touch rugby.

Ōrākei Basin is one of the volcanoes in the Auckland volcanic field in the North Island of New Zealand. It has an explosion crater around 700 m wide, with a surrounding tuff ring. The present basin is slightly larger than the original maar crater.

Remuera Library is a local branch of Auckland Libraries, serving the suburb of Remuera. It is housed in a historic building, which is considered to be a landmark in the area.

Remuera is an affluent inner city suburb of Auckland, New Zealand. It is located four kilometres southeast of the city centre. Remuera is home to many well-known New Zealanders, including the late Sir Edmund Hillary and the race car driver Bruce McLaren.

Baradene College of the Sacred Heart is a Catholic high school for girls aged from 11 to 18 (Year 7–13) located in Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand. It is based on the philosophy of Madeleine Sophie Barat, who founded the Society of the Sacred Heart. Established 1909, Baradene celebrated its 100th year in 2009. The students participate in school events such as House Parades, swimming sports, athletics day and house singing, gaining points for their houses. They also have, at the end of each year, a school mass farewelling the seniors of the school, opening mass (celebrating the new school year) and individual year level liturgies. The Auckland meteorite, also known as the Ellerslie meteorite, landed in Ellerslie, a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand, on 12 June 2004. It crashed through the roof of a house and landed in the living room. As the ninth meteorite to ever be discovered in New Zealand, it is the only one to have ever hit a house in the country. It is owned by the Auckland War Memorial Museum.

Remuera Intermediate School (R.I) is a school catering for 11 to 13 year olds in Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand. It was founded in 1954. The current principal of the school is Kyle Brewerton. The school's current student count consists of 867 students, however the roll number varies between 850 and 1000 each year.

Ellerslie Racecourse is the main racecourse in Auckland, New Zealand, for thoroughbred racehorses. It is an undulating, grass circuit in the suburb of Ellerslie, with a circumference of just under 1,900 metres. Racing is conducted in a clockwise (right-handed) direction.

The Ōrākei Local Board is one of the 21 local boards of Auckland Council. It is coterminous with the Ōrākei ward. It was chaired in its first two terms by local politician Desley Simpson following the 2010 and 2013 elections. In the 2016 elections, Simpson stood for and won the Orakei ward councillor seat on Auckland Council. Colin Davis took her place as Chair.

Ōrākei Ward is one of thirteen wards of Auckland Council in Auckland, New Zealand. It encompasses the neighbourhoods of Saint Heliers, Glendowie, Kohimarama, Mission Bay, Saint Johns and Meadowbank. It elects one councillor to represent the ward on the council. The councillor has oversight over the Orakei Local Board. The current councillor is Desley Simpson.
