St Dubricius’ Church is a Grade II* listed parish church in Hentland, Herefordshire, England.

Hentland is a hamlet and civil parish about 5 miles (8 km) north-west of Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire, England. The small hamlet settlement of Hentland at the east of the parish contains the parish church of St Dubricius. The civil parish, bounded on its eastern side by the River Wye, also includes the villages of Hoarwithy and St Owen's Cross, and the hamlets of Gillow, Kynaston, Little Pengethley, Llanfrother and Red Rail. The area is mostly farmland, with a small proportion being woodland. The soil consists of red loam, with a subsoil of rock and clay. The name 'Hentland' derives from the Old Welsh Hên-llan, meaning "old church-enclosure". Hentland is the site of an early Welsh monastery, built by Saint Dubricius in the 6th century, which probably stood in the field just south of the present parish church, and is a place for Saint Dubricius' pilgrimage. Gillow Manor is a 14th-century manor house with part of its moat still surviving; in the Middle Ages it was one of the homes of the Pembridge family of Herefordshire. Hall Court Farm is a Grade II listed half timbered house at Kynaston dating from the early 1600s.

The Laskett Gardens, near Much Birch, Herefordshire, England, were created by Sir Roy Strong and Julia Trevelyan Oman. The couple purchased and moved to the rural property in 1973 and, over the next thirty years, built the garden from scratch. St Weonards (correctly pronounced 'wonnards') is a village and civil parish in Herefordshire, England, located 10 miles (16 km) south of Hereford, 7 miles (11 km) west of Ross-on-Wye and 8 miles (13 km) north of Monmouth, on the A466 road. Within the parish and also on the A466 is the hamlet of Sandyway. St Weonards lies within the area known to the Saxons (and later English) as Archenfield, previously the kingdom of Ergyng, adjoining the modern border with Wales. Ergyng was later reduced to a semi-autonomous cantref retaining Welsh language and customs until the early nineteenth century.

Llangarron is a small village and civil parish in southwest Herefordshire within 7 miles (11 km) of both Ross-on-Wye (Herefordshire, England) and Monmouth (Monmouthshire, Wales). The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 1,053. The civil parish includes the settlements of Llangrove, Llancloudy, Biddlestone and Three Ashes. The church is dedicated to St. Deinst (a Celtic saint who died in c584). The village no longer has a post office nor pub, though it does have a community hall. The name, also spelt Llangarren and Llangarran, refers to the Garron Brook, a tributary of the River Wye. Several local farms have Welsh names, a legacy of the fluid nature of the England-Wales border in the past. A variant suggestion is that the name derives from “garan”, Welsh for stork or heron, as a heron-like bird is depicted in the church gates.
