Dolobran (Haverford, Pennsylvania)

The Pennsylvania Lawn Tennis Championships was a tennis tournament played at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, Pennsylvania. The first edition was held in 1894. It was part of the Eastern Grass Court Circuit, a series of grass court tournaments on the American Eastern Seaboard in the lead up to the U. S. National Championships which also included Rye/South Orange, Meadow Club, Newport Casino, and others. The men's events were part of the Grand Prix tennis circuit from 1970–1974, before which they were amateur events. They were held on outdoor hard courts from 1970–72 and grass courts from 1973–1974.

Merion Cricket Club is a private club in Haverford, Pennsylvania, founded in 1865. The current clubhouse is its sixth, the last four having been designed by Philadelphia architect Frank Furness and his partner, Allen Evans, who was also a founder of the club. The club was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987 for its leading role in the promotion, development and continued support of cricket, golf, squash, and tennis in the United States.

Haverford is an affluent, unincorporated community located in both Haverford Township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, US, and Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County, about 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Philadelphia. Major roads in Haverford include Lancaster Avenue (US 30/Lincoln Highway), Montgomery Avenue, Haverford Road, and I-476 (Blue Route).

The Mill Creek Historic District near Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne, Pennsylvania is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 10, 1980. The area of the historic district was increased on August 30, 1996.The area is roughly bounded by the Schuylkill River, Mill Creek, Righter's Mill, Rose Glen, and Monk's Rds.

Dove Lake is a reservoir in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was created by damming Mill Creek. Dove Lake was the setting of the 1885 painting The Swimming Hole by Thomas Eakins. Dove Lake is on a privately owned property in Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne.

Haverford station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Haverford, Pennsylvania. It is served by most Paoli/Thorndale Line trains with the exception of a few express runs, and is located on Haverford Station Road. The station was originally built by the Pennsylvania Railroad. There are 169 parking spaces at the station. This station is 9.1 track miles from Suburban Station. In 2017, the average total weekday boardings at this station were 404, and the average total weekday alightings was 328.

Whitehall Apartments is a historic apartment building located at Haverford in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1925–1926, and is a large, 3 1/2-story, "E"-shaped stucco building in the Mission Revival style. It features wrought iron balconies, blue decorative tile featuring scenes of Christopher Columbus, and red tile roof caps.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Ardmore station is a train station in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, located on the Pennsylvania Main Line. The station serves several Amtrak Keystone Service trains daily, as well as all SEPTA Thorndale Line local regional rail trains. The station is 8.5 miles (13.7 km) miles from Suburban Station in Center City Philadelphia, and travel time to Suburban Station is 22 minutes on SEPTA local trains. The station is situated in a large residential population and sees its fair share of reverse commuters. In 2017, the average total weekday SEPTA boardings at this station was 821, and the average total weekday SEPTA alightings was 749. Suburban Square is a community shopping center in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, United States, in the Main Line suburbs of Philadelphia. it has 355,000-square-foot (33,000 m2) of gross leasable area. The center opened in 1928, and is notable as one of the earliest planned suburban shopping centers in the United States. It has also been generally credited as being the first suburban shopping center to include a true department store, when Strawbridge & Clothier opened a four-story, 50,000 sq ft (4,600 m2) branch there on May 12, 1930. The site has grown from its original 7 acres (28,000 m2) to 18 acres (73,000 m2) since its launch. The complex currently includes Suburban Square, Times Building, and the adjacent Ardmore Farmers Market and features more than sixty retail and dining establishments.

The Haverford School is a private, non-sectarian, all-boys college preparatory day school, junior kindergarten through grade twelve. Founded in 1884 as The Haverford College Grammar School, it is located in Haverford, Pennsylvania.

The Idlewild Farm Complex is a 26-acre (11 ha) plot of land in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. It was originally part of the Welsh Tract and is now a portion of the Bridlewild Trails Association.
