Whitehall Apartments is a historic apartment building located at Haverford in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1925–1926, and is a large, 3 1/2-story, "E"-shaped stucco building in the Mission Revival style. It features wrought iron balconies, blue decorative tile featuring scenes of Christopher Columbus, and red tile roof caps.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Pennsylvania Lawn Tennis Championships was a tennis tournament played at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, Pennsylvania. The first edition was held in 1894. It was part of the Eastern Grass Court Circuit, a series of grass court tournaments on the American Eastern Seaboard in the lead up to the U. S. National Championships which also included Rye/South Orange, Meadow Club, Newport Casino, and others. The men's events were part of the Grand Prix tennis circuit from 1970–1974, before which they were amateur events. They were held on outdoor hard courts from 1970–72 and grass courts from 1973–1974.

Merion Cricket Club is a private club in Haverford, Pennsylvania, founded in 1865. The current clubhouse is its sixth, the last four having been designed by Philadelphia architect Frank Furness and his partner, Allen Evans, who was also a founder of the club. The club was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987 for its leading role in the promotion, development and continued support of cricket, golf, squash, and tennis in the United States.

The Haverford School is a private, non-sectarian, all-boys college preparatory day school, junior kindergarten through grade twelve. Founded in 1884 as The Haverford College Grammar School, it is located in Haverford, Pennsylvania.

Haverford is an affluent, unincorporated community located in both Haverford Township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, US, and Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County, about 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Philadelphia. The Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) opened Haverford Station in 1880 on their Main Line west out of Broad Street Station (now Suburban Station) in Philadelphia. Haverford sits at milepost 9.17. Haverford borders the unincorporated portion of Haverford Township called "Havertown," as well as the unincorporated communities of Bryn Mawr, Gladwyne, Ardmore, Wynnewood, and a small portion of Broomall. Haverford's name is derived from the name of the town of Haverfordwest in Wales, UK.Today, Haverford is most notable for being the site of Haverford College and one of the United States' oldest country clubs, the Merion Cricket Club. Friends School Haverford is a private, Quaker elementary school near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania which educates students in Grades Nursery School (starting at 2 years 7 months) through Fifth Grade. The school was founded in 1885, and is the oldest Quaker school on Philadelphia's Main Line. Grades Nursery School to Kindergarten are in one building, while grades first grade to eighth grade are in the main building. Haverford College ( HAV-ər-fərd) is a private liberal arts college in Haverford, Pennsylvania. It was founded as a men's college in 1833 by members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), began accepting non-Quakers in 1849, and became coeducational in 1980. The college offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in 31 majors across humanities, social sciences and natural sciences disciplines. It is a member of the Tri-College Consortium, which includes Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore colleges, as well as the Quaker Consortium, which includes those schools as well as the University of Pennsylvania.All the college's approximately 1300 students are undergraduates, and nearly all reside on campus. Social and academic life is governed by an honor code and influenced by Quaker philosophy. Its 216-acre (87 ha) suburban campus has predominantly stone Quaker Colonial Revival architecture. Haverford College (CDP) is a census-designated place located in Haverford Township, Delaware County, and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It corresponds to the campus of Haverford College, located on the southwest side of U.S. Route 30, about 10 miles (16 km) northwest of the city of Philadelphia. As of the 2010 census the population was 1,331.

Roslin House in Haverford, Pennsylvania, United States, was built in 1911 for Horace B. Forman Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth Chandlee Forman. The Philadelphia Quaker architect William L. Price designed and built the house from sketches provided by the Formans. Dr. H. Chandlee Forman, son of Horace and Elizabeth, donated the house to Haverford College in 1948.Since then, it has served as Haverford College's La Casa Hispánica, "a Special Interest House which supports the endeavors of students actively engaged in organizing programs concerned with the cultures and civilizations of the Spanish-speaking world."Built of cut stone, the three-story Gothic Revival house is designed after Roslin Castle and Chapel in Scotland. Its font (east) facade features a pair of extended gabled pavilions. A two-story turret containing the main staircase, and a hooded entry porch project from the southern extended gable. Extending south perpendicularly from this gable is the home's interior showpiece: a dramatic two-story living space containing a vaulted ceiling, exposed wood beams, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and balcony around the perimeter of the second floor.

Dolobran is a Shingle Style house at 231 Laurel Lane in Haverford, Pennsylvania. It was designed by architect Frank Furness for shipping magnate Clement Griscom in 1881, and was expanded at least twice by Furness.: 228  The house and 146-acre (59 hectare) estate served as a summer retreat for Griscom, his wife, and five children.: 229 It was named for Dolobran, the Welsh manor and estate of Griscom's ancestors.

Ardmore station is a train station in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, located on the Pennsylvania Main Line. The station serves several Amtrak Keystone Service trains daily, as well as all SEPTA Thorndale Line local regional rail trains. The station is 8.5 miles (13.7 km) miles from Suburban Station in Center City Philadelphia, and travel time to Suburban Station is 22 minutes on SEPTA local trains. The station is situated in a large residential population and sees its fair share of reverse commuters. In 2017, the average total weekday SEPTA boardings at this station was 821, and the average total weekday SEPTA alightings was 749.
