Estella Oriental (Basque: Lizarraldea) is a comarca in Navarre, Spain.

Metauten is a town and municipality located in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, northern Spain.

Estella (Spanish) or Lizarra (Basque) is a town located in the autonomous community of Navarre, in northern Spain. It lies south west of Pamplona, close to the border with La Rioja and Álava. The town was founded in 1090 when the place, lying by the fortified settlement of Lizarra, was granted a charter by the Pamplonese king Sancho Ramirez. The town became a landmark in the Way of St. James pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, thriving on the privileged location and the melting pot of Francos called in by Navarrese kings (mainly Occitans from Auvergne and Limousin), Jews and the original Navarrese inhabitants. The wealth resulted in a development of Romanesque architecture, well represented in the town: Church of San Pedro de la Rúa, Palacio de los Reyes de Navarra, Church of San Miguel, among others. The town was long the headquarters of Don Carlos, who was proclaimed king here in 1833. It was a major headquarters of the Carlist party in the Carlist Wars of the mid 19th century, with Tomás de Zumalacárregui being appointed Commander in Chief in this Estella-Lizarra. On 16 February 1876, the Carlists in the town surrendered. Between 1927 and 1967, the town held the terminus of the Ferrocarril Vasco-Navarro railway extending up to Bergara. The line was fitted with electrified power supply as of 1938, a provision considered a feat at the time. In 1927, Club Deportivo Izarra was formed who currently play in the Segunda División B. The town regularly hosts the GP Miguel Induráin.

The Palacio de los Reyes de Navarra (Basque: Nafarroako Erregeen jauregia), also called the Palacio de los Duques de Granada de Ega, is a historical building in Estella, Navarre, Spain; it is the Romanesque former royal palace of the Kings and Queens of Navarre from the late 12th century to the mid-15th. In the twentieth century the building, which had fallen into disrepair, was restored and in 1991 converted into the Museo Gustavo de Maeztu (Basque: Gustavo de Maeztu Museoa), housing the work of the painter Gustavo de Maeztu y Whitney and open to the public. The building is important in the history of architecture in Navarre, since it is the only civil building extant from the Romanesque period. In 1931, it was declared a national monument by the Spanish government.

The Palace of Vélaz de Medrano (Basque: Vélaz de Medranotarren Gaztelua-Juaregia; Spanish: Palacio de Vélaz de Medrano and even Castillo Palacio de Cabo de Armeria de los Vélaz de Medrano de Igúzquiza) is the former seat and residence of the noble Medrano family in Igúzquiza, Navarre (valley of Santesteban de la Solana). It was directly linked to the perpetual lordship of Igúzquiza, held by the same noble family. The castle-palace of Vélaz de Medrano is currently privately owned and listed in the Spanish Historical Heritage, obtaining the protection of the generic declaration of the Spanish Historical Heritage decree on April 22, 1949, and protected by Law 16/1985 of June 25, 1985. The Palace of Vélaz de Medrano was also certified and protected by the Commission of Historical and Artistic Monuments of Navarra, a public body in charge of the conservation and protection of antiquities, a direct precedent, together with the Culture Council, of the current Prince of Viana Institution. The Hispania Nostra Scientific Committee have also recognized and designated this palace under the official red list of the Hispania Nostra.

Igúzquiza is 4 km from Estella and 50.03 km from the capital of the community, Pamplona. It covers an area of 18.02 km² (roughly 6.95 miles) and Its population in 2023 was 301 inhabitants.

The Pago Irache branch uses the Vino de Pago wine appellation, a classification for Spanish wine applied to individual vineyards or wine estates, unlike the Denominación de Origen Protegida (DOP) or Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) which is applied to an entire wine region. This Vino de Pago is located in the municipality of Aberin (Merindad de Estella), in the Foral Community of Navarra, Spain, and is geographically within the borders of the Navarra DOP. The winery, Bodegas Irache, also sells wines under the Navarra DOP appellation.

Estadio Merkatondoa, is a stadium in Estella-Lizarra, Navarra, Spain. It has a capacity of 3,500 spectators and opened in 1929. It is the home of CD Izarra of the Segunda División B.

Santa María la Real de Irache (also Hyrache, or, in Basque, Iratxe) is a former Benedictine monastery located in the town of Ayegui, Navarre, Spain. It dates from the eighth century, although the surviving buildings are later. Adjacent to the monastery is a winery called Bodegas Irache, which continues a tradition of viticulture which dates from monastic times.
