Haddenham Airfield

Haddenham & Thame Parkway railway station is a station in Buckinghamshire serving the village of Haddenham and town of Thame in the neighbouring county of Oxfordshire, England. The station is on the western edge of Haddenham, about 2 miles (3 km) north east of Thame, and is served by Chiltern Railways.

Snakemoor is a 1.8 hectares (4.4 acres) Local Nature Reserve in Haddenham in Buckinghamshire. It is owned and managed by Haddenham Parish Council.The site became a nature reserve in 1987. It has a hay meadow, woods and a pond. There are over 100 species of flowers and other plants, including snowdrops and lent lily, a small native species of daffodil.There is access by a footpath from Thame Road, next to Haddenham and Thame Parkway railway station.

Haddenham railway station was on the former Great Western and Great Central Joint Railway between Princes Risborough and Ashendon Junction. It was closed in 1963.

Dad Brook is a minor, 3.23 km (2.01 mi) long river in Buckinghamshire, England that is a tributary to the River Thame.Located completely within the Aylesbury Vale district, the river rises in the south of the village and civil parish Cuddington, near the county town of Aylesbury, and flows west for 3.23 km (2.01 mi) alongside Aylesbury Road before flowing into the River Thame in the village and parish of Chearsley.

Haddenham Museum is based in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, England. The museum, which is run by volunteers, first opened in 1998, and is housed in the Old Schoolroom of the Methodist chapel in the centre of the village. The museum was established to collect and preserve historical information and artefacts about the village and its collection includes both household and industrial items as well as farming implements, photographs and documents relating to the domestic and rural life of the village of Haddenham.

Haddenham is a village and civil parish in west Buckinghamshire, England. It is about 5 miles (8 km) south-west of Aylesbury and 4 miles (6 km) north-east of Thame in neighbouring Oxfordshire. At the 2011 Census, the population of the civil parish was 4,502.

Haddenham War Memorial is located in Church End, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, England. It is a grade II listed building with Historic England. It was built in the summer of 1921 and unveiled by the Marquis of Lincolnshire on 16 October 1921. The memorial is built from Portland stone and stands 14 feet high. The apex of the obelisk is surmounted by a ball finial carved with acanthus (plant) leaves, between which are the thistle, shamrock and rose. The base has corner pilasters, framing the inscribed panels. On the North face of the obelisk is carved a laurel wreath, with the words ‘OUR GLORIOUS DEAD’ and ‘THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE’. On the plinth are the words: ‘IN/ HONOUR/ AND/ UNDYING MEMORY/ OF/ THE MEN OF THIS VILLAGE/ WHO/ GAVE THEIR LIVES/ IN THE GREAT WAR/ OF/ 1914- 1918/ AND/ 1939 -1945’. The names are then recorded, with the regiments to which the men belonged.

Cuddington is a village and civil parish within the Buckinghamshire district in the ceremonial county of Buckinghamshire, England. It is near the Oxfordshire border, about six miles west of Aylesbury. The village name is Old English (Anglo-Saxon) in origin, and means "Cudda's estate." In the Domesday Book of 1086 it was recorded as Cudintuna. Anciently the village was the location of a medicinal spring of great repute, though its exact location is unknown. The Church of St Nicholas dates from the 12th Century but was much restored in 1857. Across the road is Tyringham Hall that dates from the 17th Century. During the Second World War the King of Norway who was staying at the nearby Hartwell House attended a church service in the village. Cuddington is centred on the village green and the road junction linking Aylesbury, Long Crendon and Haddenham. The majority of the original houses were built on the north side but in the last 50 years or so new homes have been built predominantly on the south side. The current population is around 550 residents. Two of the most famous former residents were Jonathan and David Dimbleby. The village, like surrounding villages, has been the location of several Midsomer Murders episodes. Cuddington and Dinton Church of England School is a mixed Church of England primary school. It is a voluntary aided school, which takes children from the age of four through to the age of eleven. Cuddington was an infant school but has recently merged with Dinton School to form a full primary school on two sites. There are now just over one hundred pupils on roll.

Tythrop Park, also known as Tythrop House, is a Grade I–listed 17th-century manor house, set in 51 acres (21 ha) of parkland, in Kingsey, Buckinghamshire, England. According to Pevsner the exterior is plain and unpromising, but inside the house he describes the staircase as one of the finest in the county, with "extremely luscious openwork foliage".The property is noted as having installed an early duck decoy, similar to that at the Boarstall Duck Decoy.It was bought in 2007 for £12.5 million by Nicholas Wheeler (founder of mail-order shirt company Charles Tyrwhitt), and Chrissie Rucker (founder of The White Company). The couple renovated the property before moving in with their four children.

Notley Abbey was an Augustinian abbey founded in the 12th century near Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire, England. A team from Oxford excavated Notley Abbey in 1937, establishing a layout and timeline of the building's construction. The building has been visited by notable figures such as Henry V, and was owned by the celebrities Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh. Today, the remnants of the abbey are owned by the company Bijou Wedding Venues and are used to host weddings.

Chearsley is a village and civil parish within the Buckinghamshire district in the ceremonial county of Buckinghamshire, England. It is situated about seven miles south west of Aylesbury, and about four miles north of Thame, in Oxfordshire.
