St. Philip's Episcopal Church (Germanton, North Carolina)

Germanton Methodist Church and Cemetery is a historic Methodist church and cemetery located on Main Street at the junction of Main Street and Willow Street in Germanton, Stokes County, North Carolina. It was built in 1856, and is a simple two-story, rectangular brick building with a front gable roof, with Greek Revival detailing. It features a central three-part belfry atop the roof. The cemetery contains markers dated to the 1820s.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Germanton is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Forsyth and Stokes counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina, primarily in Stokes County. As of the 2020 census, the community had a population of 790. It is located 13 miles (21 km) south of the Stokes County seat of Danbury, on North Carolina State Highways 8 and 65 at an altitude of 662 feet (202 m). Downtown Winston-Salem is 13 miles (21 km) to the south. Germanton was the county seat of Stokes County prior to Forsyth County being created from southern Stokes. Before the creation of Forsyth County, Germanton was centrally located within the Stokes County limits.

Leak-Chaffin-Browder House is historic home located near Germanton, Stokes County, North Carolina. It was built between about 1853 and 1860, and is a large two-story, Greek Revival style brick dwelling. It has a Colonial Revival style front porch that dates from the early 20th century. Also on the property are the contributing kitchen-slave/servants' house, granary / tobacco pack house, wood shed, privy, shed, barn, and combination corn crib, equipment shed, and meat house.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Meadows Township is one of nine townships in Stokes County, North Carolina, United States. The township had a population of 5,279 according to the 2000 census. Geographically, Meadows Township occupies 53.4 square miles (138 km2) in south-central Stokes County. The township's southern border is with Forsyth County. There are no incorporated municipalities in Meadows Township but there are several unincorporated communities, including Brook Cove and Germanton. Meadows is the home of JT Outfitters, Inc.; a large mail order auto parts house.

Neatman is an unincorporated community in Stokes County, North Carolina, United States, approximately 3 miles north-northwest of Germanton.

Rural Hall Depot is a historic train station located at Rural Hall, Forsyth County, North Carolina. It was built in 1888 for the Cape Fear and Yadkin Valley Railway. It is a one-story rectangular frame building sheathed in German siding. It measures 23 feet wide and 78 feet long. The interior consists of waiting rooms for white and "colored" passengers and a station master's office. Passenger service ceased in 1955, but the depot continued to provide services and facilities to freight trains until its closing in 1980. The building was moved to its present site in March 1980, and serves as a local railroad museum.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

WTRU (830 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Kernersville, North Carolina, and serving the Piedmont Triad. It is owned by Truth Broadcasting and carries a Christian talk and teaching radio format. Truth Broadcasting is owned by Stuart Epperson, Jr., son of Stuart Epperson, founder of Salem Communications. The station is the flagship of the "Truth Network," including WDRU in the Research Triangle, WCRU in Charlotte, WLES in Richmond, Virginia, and KUTR in Salt Lake City. By day, WTRU transmits with 50,000 watts, the maximum for AM stations in the U.S., but 830 AM is a clear channel frequency reserved for Class A WCCO in Minneapolis, so WTRU must reduce power at night to 10,000 watts. Clayton Family Farm, also known as John and Matthew Clayton Farm, is a historic farm complex and national historic district located at Stanleyville, Forsyth County, North Carolina. The district encompasses eight contributing buildings and four contributing sites dated between about 1800 and 1931. They include two historic roadbeds, an historic pond site, the weatherboarded log John Clayton House (c. 1800), the brick Greek Revival style Matthew C. Clayton House (1879), the former Clayton Store, five log and frame outbuildings, and the family cemetery.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Rural Hall is a town in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States. It is a part of the Piedmont Triad. The population was 3,360 at the 2020 census. The town has one public park: Covington Memorial Park.

The township had a population of 9,200 according to the 2010 census.Geographically, Bethania Township occupies 23.20 square miles (60.1 km2) in northern Forsyth County. The town of Rural Hall is located here as well as part of the town of Bethania.
