Whitefriars, Gloucester

Gloucester, formerly known as Gloucester Central, is a railway station serving the city of Gloucester in England. It is located 114 miles 4 chains (183.5 km) west of London Paddington, via Stroud.The station was built originally as the terminus of the Birmingham and Gloucester Railway in 1840; the arrival of the broad gauge Bristol and Gloucester Railway and Cheltenham and Great Western Union Railway in 1844, and then conversion to a through station for the South Wales Railway in 1851, resulted in a very complex layout. Subsequent closures and rationalisation have left Gloucester with a station that is located off the main Bristol-Birmingham line; thus means that Great Western Railway services must reverse, while CrossCountry and Transport for Wales services continue to Newport.

Gloucester Transport Hub (also known as Gloucester bus station) is a bus station on Station Road in Gloucester, England.

The Forum is part of the Kings Quarter development. It is a 600,000 sq ft area. It will consist of forty three apartments, a four star hotel, the Gloucester Transport Hub, Cafes, Bars, a Gym, retail units, One and Two Cathedral View, and a car park. Phase Two of the development will be completed in the Summer of 2024.

St Peter's Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. It was built from 1860 to 1868 and designed by Gilbert Blount. It is situated on the corner of London Road and Black Dog Way in the centre of the city. It is a Grade II* listed building.

Gloucestershire Archives holds the archives for the county of Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire. The archives are held at Alvin Street in Gloucester and run by Gloucestershire County Council.More recently, the Archives at Alvin Street have been rebranded as the Gloucestershire Heritage Hub. The project aims to encourage Gloucestershire residents to investigate their local history; in particular providing an accessible repository of documents for tracking family history. The Hub also provides volunteering opportunities such as the transcribing of historical sources. In the summer of 2019, the Hub embarked on a construction project to build a new entrance and strongrooms.

Kings Square is a market square in Gloucester, England connecting to Kings Walk Shopping Centre, Market Parade, The Oxbode and St Aldate Street.

Eastgate Street is one of the ancient streets in Gloucester, so named because its eastern end was originally the location of the east gate in the city's walls. The part beyond the gate as far as GL1 leisure Centre was part of Barton Street It runs from the crossroads of Northgate, Eastgate, Southgate and Westgate Streets in the West (The Cross) to Barton Street in the East.

Gloucester Leisure Centre was a leisure centre located at Station Road in Gloucester, England. A new leisure centre (branded GL1) was built nearby as a replacement. The original centre was also used as a concert venue hosting artists such as Thin Lizzy, Duran Duran and The Police.

Clapham was a district of the City of Gloucester that was developed from 1822 by George Worrall Counsel who built several hundred houses for artisans. It included Worrall Street and Counsel Street, neither of which now exist. The area was redeveloped in the twentieth century and is now part of Kingsholm.
