The Round House is a historic house located at 971 West Main Street in the Centerville village of Barnstable, Massachusetts.

The William and Jane Phinney House is a historic house at 555 Phinney's Lane in the Centerville area of Barnstable, Massachusetts. Built c. 1659 later updated to a 3/4 cape in 1715, it is the oldest surviving house in the village, and has an early surviving example of a bowed roof, a distinctive regional variation on the Cape style house. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Craigville Historic District encompasses a historic religious camp meeting area in the Craigville section of Barnstable, Massachusetts, United States. It is centered on the junction of Lake Elizabeth Drive and Ocean Avenue, just west of Lake Elizabeth. The camp meeting was established in 1871 by the New England Convention of Christian Churches on land that was purchased from members of the Perry family. Along the grid of roads south of the main junction, gingerbread-decorated Gothic cottages were built over the following decades. The main tabernacle, an open-walled church, was built in 1887. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The John Richardson House is a historic house in the Centerville area of Barnstable, Massachusetts. The 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame Cape style house was built c. 1795 by John Richardson, member of a locally prominent family and the first teacher at the Phinney's Lane School. It is four bays wide (a "3/4 house"), with the main entrance and chimney in the second bay from the left. The house is one of Centerville's older houses, located near the site of its first meetinghouse and cemetery.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Craigville is a part of the village of Centerville in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Craigville consists of the Craigville Beach area.

The Hyannisport Club is a private club located in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. The club's origins spring from a late 19th century summer resident and golf enthusiast named John Reid who created a handful of holes against Nantucket Sound. Over subsequent decades, the club purchased more land and eventually expanded into a full 18-hole course. In the 1930s, Hyannisport was re-designed by the famed golf course architect Donald Ross. The course is also strongly associated with the Kennedy family. It was a "deciding factor" for Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. to purchase a summer house in the village and was the home course of President John F. Kennedy. Hyannisport remains one of the most notable clubs in the state, having been voted one of the top courses in Massachusetts by The Boston Globe and Golf Digest.

The Ancient Burying Ground (or Phinney's Lane Cemetery) is a historical cemetery at Phinney's Lane in Barnstable, Massachusetts. It is the oldest cemetery in the village of Centerville, and the only surviving civic element of its colonial origins. was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Lemuel B. Chase House is a historic house located in Barnstable, Massachusetts. It is a well-preserved example of Greek Revival architecture.

Cape Cod Melody Tent is a South Shore Playhouse Associates-owned tent theater located in Hyannis, Massachusetts, in the county of Barnstable. Affiliated with the South Shore Music Circus, these are the only two continuously-operated tent theaters in the round in the United States. It is a seasonal venue that runs May through September. The Music Circus and Melody Tent are owned and operated by the South Shore Playhouse Associates, a not-for-profit organization. The seating capacity is approximately 2,300. It was originally known as Cape Cod Music Circus from 1950–1951.David M. Holtzmann, a theatrical attorney who represented actress Gertrude Lawrence, owned both theaters from the late 1950s until his death in 1965, after which they were operated by his widow, Sondra. In March 1990, the South Shore Playhouse Associates purchased the Cape Cod Melody Tent and have since made numerous modern upgrades including a new vinyl tent with Cupola venting system, new seats, new stage and computerized lighting and sound systems.

Wequaquet Lake is a 654 acres (265 ha) unstratified warmwater lake in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. It is located northwest of Hyannis. Wequaquet Lake drains south via Centerville River which flows into the Atlantic Ocean. Wequaquet Lake is also known as Chequaquet Lake, Great Pond or Nine Mile Pond. The bottom is composed primarily of sand. The 7.5 miles (12.1 km) of shoreline is heavily (90%) developed with cottages and year-round homes. Bearse Pond is connected to Wequaquet Lake by a narrow channel, other nearby ponds include Hathaways Pond and Shallow Pond.

Craigville Beach is located on Nantucket Sound. It is located in Craigville (part of Centerville, Massachusetts) and is a very popular tourist hot spot on Cape Cod. Unlike many private Cape beaches which offer parking to residents only, Craigville is a public beach area, available to non-residents for a daily parking fee. In the summer, kite surfing is extremely popular. Craigville Beach is geologically contiguous with Covell's Beach to the east. The Covell's Beach parking lot is only open to Barnstable residents during peak times.The private Craigville Beach Association and The Beach Club flank the main public area. In Massachusetts, public property ends at the low tide line; only certain activities (not including recreational walking and sunbathing) are allowed by right between the low and high tide lines.
