The Centerville Pie Company is a pie company located in Centerville, Massachusetts. It gained fame when it was mentioned on Oprah Winfrey's Favorite Things episode in 2010. Centerville pies were at one time sold through the Harry & David corporation, and are currently available via Goldbelly.

The John Richardson House is a historic house in the Centerville area of Barnstable, Massachusetts. The 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame Cape style house was built c. 1795 by John Richardson, member of a locally prominent family and the first teacher at the Phinney's Lane School. It is four bays wide (a "3/4 house"), with the main entrance and chimney in the second bay from the left. The house is one of Centerville's older houses, located near the site of its first meetinghouse and cemetery.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Capt. Joseph Hinckley House is a historic house located at 142 Old Stage Road in Barnstable, Massachusetts.

The Centerville Historic District is a historic district encompassing the heart of the village of Centerville in Barnstable, Massachusetts. The district extends along Main Street from a point north of its junction with Old Stage Road and Park Avenue, south to the junction with Church Hill Road. Most of the buildings in the district were built in the middle decades of the 19th century, although its oldest building, the Austin Bearse House, was built c. 1690. The area's growth was spurred by the relocation in 1826 of the Congregational Church building to its present location. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Centerville is one of the seven villages in the Town of Barnstable, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod. Located on the South Side of Barnstable, Centerville is primarily residential, and includes a small business district as well as several notable beaches. It has its own elementary school and public library, and is home to the Centerville Historic District and the Centerville Historical Museum. Located on Pine Street is the St. Francis Xavier cemetery, which is the final resting place for Eunice Kennedy Shriver and her husband Sargent Shriver. In late June 1993, Jaleel White, who portrayed Steve Urkel on the sitcom Family Matters, performed in a one-man production of Fiddler on the Roof in front of the Centerville Public Library. The American composer Amy Beach frequently summered in Centerville during the 1920s and 1930s.

Four Seas Ice Cream is an independent ice cream shop located in Centerville, Massachusetts. It is one of the three oldest ice cream shops in New England. It has been the winner of many awards and citations over the years as the result of its flavors. In the past, it has been voted number seven on the list of Top 10 Ice Cream Parlors in the United States.

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) is a college athletic conference comprising schools that compete in 15 sports (13 men's and 13 women's). It has 220 member institutions in NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, ranging in location from Maine to South Carolina and west to Missouri. Most or all members belong to at least one other athletic conference. The ECAC was founded as the Central Office for Eastern Intercollegiate Athletics in 1938, largely through the efforts of James Lynah of Cornell University. In 1983, the Eastern Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (EAIAW) was consolidated into the ECAC. Most member schools are in other conferences as well, but through the ECAC they are able to participate in sports that their main conferences do not offer. Its headquarters are located in Danbury, Connecticut. The ECAC also now offers esports competitions to its member schools.

The Round House is a historic house located at 971 West Main Street in the Centerville village of Barnstable, Massachusetts.

The Craigville Historic District encompasses a historic religious camp meeting area in the Craigville section of Barnstable, Massachusetts, United States. It is centered on the junction of Lake Elizabeth Drive and Ocean Avenue, just west of Lake Elizabeth. The camp meeting was established in 1871 by the New England Convention of Christian Churches on land that was purchased from members of the Perry family. Along the grid of roads south of the main junction, gingerbread-decorated Gothic cottages were built over the following decades. The main tabernacle, an open-walled church, was built in 1887. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Wequaquet Lake is a 654 acres (265 ha) unstratified warmwater lake in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. It is located northwest of Hyannis. Wequaquet Lake drains south via Centerville River which flows into the Atlantic Ocean. Wequaquet Lake is also known as Chequaquet Lake, Great Pond or Nine Mile Pond. The bottom is composed primarily of sand. The 7.5 miles (12.1 km) of shoreline is heavily (90%) developed with cottages and year-round homes. Bearse Pond is connected to Wequaquet Lake by a narrow channel, other nearby ponds include Hathaways Pond and Shallow Pond.

The William and Jane Phinney House is a historic house at 555 Phinney's Lane in the Centerville area of Barnstable, Massachusetts. Built c. 1659 later updated to a 3/4 cape in 1715, it is the oldest surviving house in the village, and has an early surviving example of a bowed roof, a distinctive regional variation on the Cape style house. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
