Southern Guilford High School was founded in 1970 in the Sumner area of Guilford County, North Carolina, United States. For the 2014–2015 school year, Southern had an enrollment of 1220 in grades 9–12, and 70 teachers. The school's current principal is Brian Muller. The school operates on a block, college-styled schedule (with four classes each semester), as opposed to the traditional bell schedule that has six periods year-long.

Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe (often simply referred to as Wet 'n Wild or Emerald Pointe) is a water park located in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States, and part of the Wet 'n Wild chain. The Audacy, Inc. outlet uses the slogan "We Play Everything!" WSMW broadcasts with an ERP of 100,000 watts at a height above average terrain of 375 meters (1230 feet). The signal provides secondary coverage as far as Charlotte to the south and Raleigh to the east. The station's studios are located near the Piedmont Triad International Airport and the transmitter site is in unincorporated south Guilford County.

Vandalia Christian Academy (VCS) is a private K–12 Christian school located in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA. It is a member of the NCCSA and was founded by Pastor David Oates in the 1970s. The school has approximately 700 students and is one of the largest Christian schools in the state.

Pleasant Garden is a town in Guilford County, North Carolina, United States. As of the 2020 census, the town's population was 5,000.

Gardner House is a historic home located near Jamestown, Guilford County, North Carolina. It was built in 1827, and is a two-story, four bay by two bay, brick dwelling. It has a one-story, four bay rear wing and features an unusual arch-linked double chimney. The interior has a modified Quaker plan. Also on the property is the site of the Gardner gold mine.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Four Seasons Town Centre is a three-story shopping mall in Greensboro, North Carolina. Opened in 1974, it was the first enclosed shopping center in Greensboro. Currently it is anchored by Dillard's and JCPenney and it is the only indoor shopping mall within Greensboro's city limits; however, nearby Friendly Center, an outdoor shopping plaza, has many of the same tenants. It is managed by Brookfield Properties. The shopping mall is located at the I-40 interchange with Gate City Boulevard (formerly High Point Road), southwest of downtown.

The Carolina Graduate School of Divinity was a divinity school in the evangelical tradition located in Greensboro, North Carolina. It opened as a branch campus of Houston Graduate School of Theology in 1994. The campus unlinked from HGST in 2003 and became Carolina Evangelical Divinity School. It was renamed Carolina Graduate School of Divinity in 2010 and in June 2016 ceased operations due to financial stress. The institution's official records are now held at the Houston Graduate School of Theology.

Sedgefield Country Club is a country club in the eastern United States, located in Greensboro, North Carolina, southwest of the city center. Established in 1925, it is primarily known for its golf course and the PGA Tour event it has held since 2008: the Wyndham Championship, formerly the Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic, and the Greater Greensboro Open (GGO). It also hosted the tournament from 1938 to 1976 (alternating some years with Starmount Forest Country Club). The course was designed by Donald Ross and opened for play in 1926. Along with Detroit Golf Club, they are currently the only two Ross-designed courses hosting a regular event on the PGA Tour. The Ross course consisted of Bentgrass greens until a major $3 million restoration project initiated in 2007, which added Champion Bermuda greens and restored its rolling fairways. In 2011, Mcconnell Golf acquired Sedgefield and added new membership benefits, including reciprocal access to the 14 other Mcconnell Golf properties. From 2003 until 2021, Rocky Brooks of the PGA served as director of golf at Sedgefield. He was succeeded by Eric Ferguson who now serves as the director of golf.

The Wyndham Championship is a professional golf tournament in North Carolina on the PGA Tour. It is played annually in Greensboro and was originally the Greater Greensboro Open.
