Manoir-des-Trembles-Val-Tétreau District (District 6) is a municipal district in the city of Gatineau, Quebec. It is currently served on Gatineau City Council by Jocelyn Blondin. The district is located in the Hull sector of the city. The district includes the western part of Hull, including the neighbourhoods of Birch Manor (Manoir-des-Trembles), Jardins-Alexandre-Taché, Val-Tétreau, Jardins-Mackenzie-King and part of Wrightville. The district was created for the 2013 election from parts of Plateau–Manoir-des-Trembles District and Hull–Val-Tétreau District.

The Val-Tétreau District (District 4) was a municipal district in the city of Gatineau, Quebec. The district was located in the Hull sector of the city. The district included the neighbourhoods of Val-Tétreau, Jardins-Alexandre-Taché, Manoir des Trembles, Jardins Mackenzie-King and Plateau. The district was abolished in 2009, dividing up into Deschênes District, Plateau–Manoir-des-Trembles District and Hull–Val-Tétreau District.

The Champlain Bridge (French: Pont Champlain) crosses the Ottawa River about 5 km (3.1 mi) west of Parliament Hill, joining the communities of Ottawa, Ontario and Gatineau, Quebec. It is the westernmost link between the two cities. It was originally built between 1924 and 1928 by the Federal District Commission, the predecessor to the National Capital Commission (NCC), and the NCC continues to maintain the bridge. The bridge consists of 4 spans and crosses Riopelle, Cunningham and Bate Islands in the Ottawa River. The total length of the bridge is 1.1 km (0.68 mi), making it the longest bridge spanning the Ottawa River. On the Ontario side, it is a continuation of Island Park Drive and is also connected to the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway. It connects to Aylmer Road on the Quebec side. A third reversible lane was added when the bridge was rebuilt in 2002, which is a high-occupancy vehicle lane used for crossings in the direction of peak traffic.The bridge was named after Samuel de Champlain who is associated with the portage around the rapids in this section of the river. The short access roadway on the Aylmer side of the bridge is called Place Samuel de Champlain. A 2 mi (3.2 km) stretch of the Ottawa River that the Champlain Bridge passes over was not charted by the Canadian Hydrographic Service.

The Royal Ottawa Golf Club is a premier private golf club located in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. It was founded in 1891, and has made major contributions to the development of Canadian golf right from its early years, hosting many important championships and meetings, and continues to do so. Several significant champion golfers have been associated with the Club. The Club has 27 holes of golf.

The 2000 du Maurier Classic was contested from August 10–13 at Royal Ottawa Golf Club. It was the 28th edition of the du Maurier Classic, first held in 1973, and the 22nd and final edition as a major championship on the LPGA Tour. Following Imperial Tobacco Canada being forced to withdraw its sponsorship of the tournament because of Tobacco Act regulations in the country, the LPGA stripped the tournament of major status and replaced it with the Women's British Open in the UK. This event was won by Meg Mallon.

Embassy of Indonesia, Ottawa (French: Ambassade d'Indonésie à Ottawa; Indonesian: Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia di Ottawa) is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Indonesia to Canada. The embassy also represents Indonesia in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). In addition to the embassy, Indonesia has two consulate generals in Toronto (Ontario) and Vancouver (British Columbia).The chancery is located on Parkdale Avenue, south of the Ottawa River in Mechanicsville. The Indonesian government bought and renovated the building in this location in 1997. Before this location, the chancery was located on 287 MacLaren Street, Ottawa. When the diplomatic mission was still in the form of a legation office in 1952, it was located on Aylmer Road, Aylmer, Quebec.The first Indonesian ambassador to Canada was Ali Sastroamidjojo (1953–1954). The current ambassador is Daniel Tumpal Sumurung Simanjuntak.

Mechanicsville is a neighbourhood in Kitchissippi Ward in central Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located to the west of downtown and bordered by the Ottawa River to the north, the O-Train Trillium Line to the east, Scott Street to the south, and Parkdale Avenue to the west. East of Mechanicsville is LeBreton Flats, Tunney's Pasture is directly west, and Hintonburg is to the south. The total population of the neighbourhood as of the 2011 Census was 2,205.

Champlain Park (French: Parc Champlain; also known as Ottawa West) is an older urban neighbourhood in Kitchissippi Ward in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It was considered in the 1930s as the west end of town. The boundaries of the neighbourhood are the Ottawa River (to the north) and Scott Street (to the south). To the east is Tunney's Pasture and to the west is Island Park Drive. Westboro Beach is also to the west. The population as of the 2016 Census was 1090.The area was part of the police village of Ottawa West from 1912 until being annexed by Ottawa in 1949. The police village was bounded by Ottawa's city limits, the Ottawa River and the Briannia street car line. Most of the homes were built in the 1920s and 1930s, with the last development in the 1950s. The community association was incorporated in 1991.Notable buildings include St. George Elementary School, the Ottawa mosque where the Ottawa Muslim Association has their meetings, and the adjacent Hall of Peace, formerly Northwestern United Church.

Tunney's Pasture is a 49-hectare (121-acre) campus in the Canadian capital of Ottawa, Ontario, that is exclusively developed for federal government buildings. It is bordered by Scott Street to the south, Parkdale Avenue to the east, the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway to the north, and the Champlain Park neighbourhood to the west. While strictly speaking it is confined to this area, people living in the vicinity of it will often call the wider neighbourhood Tunney's Pasture. The complex is served by Tunney's Pasture station, a stop on the Transitway bus rapid transit system and the western terminus on the Confederation Line of Ottawa's O-Train light rail system.

CKTF-FM (104.1 MHz) is a French-language Canadian radio station located in Gatineau, Quebec, and broadcasting to the National Capital Region including Ottawa. It is owned by Bell Media and is part of the "Énergie" network, airing a mainstream rock format. Its radio studios and offices are at 215 Boulevard Saint-Joseph. CKTF-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 19,000 watts as a class C1 FM station. It uses an omnidirectional antenna located in Camp Fortune, in Gatineau Park.

The Jean Talon Building is a federal government office building in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It forms part of the complex of three buildings, including the R. H. Coats Building and the Main Building, that houses the headquarters of Statistics Canada. Jean Talon was also the first intendant of the New France project Initially just named Census Building, it was renamed in honour of Jean Talon, the Intendant of New France who conducted the first census of what is now Canadian territory. The 13 storey Jean Talon Building was built in 1979 to accommodate census staff and to store paper, supplies and equipment needed to conduct Statistics Canada's surveys. The interior is graced with the Great Canadian Equalizer mural by artist Jerry Grey. The building is located at 170 Tunney's Pasture Driveway, K1A 0T6, in the Tunney's Pasture area of Ottawa. Because of its large footprint, the Jean Talon Building has the largest gross floor area of all buildings in Tunney's Pasture.
