CKTF-FM

CIMF-FM (94.9 MHz) is a French-language Canadian radio station in Gatineau, Quebec, and serving the National Capital Region, including Ottawa, Ontario. It has an adult contemporary format and is part of Bell Canada's Rouge FM network which operates across Quebec and Eastern Ontario. The radio studios and offices are in Gatineau at 215 Boulevard Saint-Joseph in the same building as co-owned 104.1 CKTF-FM, part of the NRJ radio network. CIMF-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 84,000 watts. It is a Class C1 station using an omnidirectional antenna located in Camp Fortune, Quebec, within Gatineau Park.

The Cathedral of St. Joseph (French: Cathédrale Saint-Joseph de Gatineau) in Gatineau, Quebec, is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church and seat of the Archdiocese of Gatineau (Archidioecesis Gatinensis). The cathedral church is located in the former city of Hull, at 245, boulevard Saint-Joseph. Its construction began in 1951 and ended the following year under the plan and design of Lucien Sarra-Bournet.

The Archdiocese of Gatineau (Latin: Archidioecesis Gatinensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese situated in the province of Quebec. The Archdiocese of Gatineau is the metropolitan of its ecclesiastical province, which also contains two suffragan dioceses: Dioceses of Amos and Rouyn-Noranda. It is currently led by Archbishop Paul-André Durocher. As of 2006, the archdiocese contains 61 parishes, 47 active diocesan priests, 29 religious priests, and 231,000 Catholics. It also has 202 women religious, and 39 religious brothers.

Hull-Wright (District 7) is a municipal district in the city of Gatineau, Quebec. From 2001 to 2009 it was known as Hull District and from 2009 to 2013 as Hull–Val-Tétreau. It is represented on Gatineau City Council by Steve Moran of Action Gatineau. The district is located in the Hull sector of the city. It includes all of Downtown Hull plus part of the neighbourhood of Wrightville. From 2009 to 2013, it also included Val-Tétreau, Jardins Mackenzie-King and Jardins Alexandre-Taché. Prior to the 2009 election, the district did not include Val-Tétreau, or Jardins Alexandre-Taché, and only the eastern half of Jardins Mackenzie-King. The district also included the southern end of Wrightville, south of Rue St-Jean-Bosco. The added parts came from Val-Tétreau District, which was abolished. Despite the name being added, only a small part of Val-Tétreau joined Hull.

CHLX-FM (97.1 MHz) is a commercial radio station in Gatineau, Quebec, serving the National Capital Region including Ottawa. A francophone station owned by RNC Media, CHLX airs a format of French-language adult contemporary with some jazz. It is owned by RNC Media and is branded as Wow 97.1. CHLX's radio studios are on Jean-Proulx Avenue in Gatineau, while its transmitter is located in Camp Fortune, within Gatineau Park.

The Tour Eiffel Bridge, also known as the Montcalm Street Bridge is a small but ornate bridge in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. There had long been a bridge across Brewery Creek, but by the 1980s it needed to be replaced. Hull and the National Capital Commission were working to turn the Brewery Creek area into a tourist and cultural district. It was decided to build an ornate structure. Incorporated in the bridge was an original steel girder from the Eiffel Tower, that had been part of a recently disassembled staircase. The girder was donated to Hull by Paris mayor Jacques Chirac. Architects Paul Martineau and Eric Haar modeled the bridge on Parisian style. It opened in 1990.

The Robert Guertin Centre (formerly Robert Guertin Arena and Hull Arena) is a multi-purpose arena in the Hull sector of Gatineau, Quebec, with a capacity of 4,000 capacity (3,196 seated). It was built in 1957. The original tenant hockey team was the Ottawa-Hull Canadiens from 1957 to 1961, until the team relocated to become the Montreal Junior Canadiens. The Ottawa-Hull Canadiens hosted the 1958 Memorial Cup between the Hull Arena and the Ottawa Auditorium across the river. The Canadiens defeated the Regina Pats four games to two to win the Memorial Cup. The Hull Arena hosted various teams in the Ottawa-Hull District Junior Hockey League during the 1960s, and briefly hosted the Ottawa 67's in 1967 and 1968, while the Ottawa Civic Centre was under construction. Since 1973, the arena has been home to Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams. The Hull Festivals joined the QMJHL in 1973, and later became known as the Hull Olympiques in 1976, and finally the Gatineau Olympiques in 2003. The Hull arena hosted the 1982 Memorial Cup. The Gatineau Olympiques won the 1997 Memorial Cup on home ice, defeating the Lethbridge Hurricanes. The arena is also the site of an international midget hockey tournament held every January.

The Théâtre de l'Île (Theatre of the Island) is a small municipally run theatre in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. It is located on a small island at the southern end of the Ruisseau de la Brasserie, a small river running just to the west of Montcalm Street in the former city of Hull. The building was originally constructed in 1886 as the Hull Water Works, at a time when the site was at the heart of a largely industrial area. In the subsequent decades the building served a number of different purposes. In 1974, it suffered a devastating fire. The city of Hull and the National Capital Commission joined together to rebuild the structure as a theatre. It opened in 1976, and was the first municipally run theatre in Quebec. The theatre seats up to 119. It puts on a number of different shows per year, with some 25,000 spectators per annum.

Ruisseau de la Brasserie (English: Brewery Creek) is a small creek that forms the northern and western shores of Île Hull. It circles the downtown of the Hull sector, of Gatineau, Quebec. It runs from the Ottawa River just west of downtown Hull. Running west of Montcalm Street it turns east north of the highway, running up to Jacques Cartier Park where it rejoins the Ottawa River. Originally it was at the heart of Hull's industrial sector, with a number of factories. This included several breweries, from which it gets its name. In the 1980s the area was refurbished by the National Capital Commission. The former water works on a small island in the creek became the Théâtre de l'Île and the Montcalm Street Bridge was replaced by the ornate Tour Eiffel Bridge. Its pollution removed, it has become a popular location for birders.

The Casino du Lac-Leamy (formerly the Casino de Hull) is a government-run casino located in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. The casino was opened on March 24, 1996, in the former city of Hull, Quebec, the third of a group of casinos built by the provincial government to raise funds. Ottawa, the larger city across the Ottawa River, was also planning to build a casino in the early 1990s, but these plans were blocked by the Government of Ontario. The Gatineau casino thus also serves the nearby city of Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. It is operated by Société des casinos du Québec, a subsidiary of Loto-Québec. In 2016, the casino provided the government with some CA$244,679,000 in profit, employed more than 1,400 people and attracted more than two and a half million visitors.The casino is built on a rocky precipice over what was once International Portland Cement Company quarry but is today Lac de la Carrière. This lake is home to a large fountain, whose jet is visible through much of the old Hull sector during the summer. To the east of the casino is Leamy Lake (in French: Lac Leamy), from which it gets its name. Attached to the casino is a 349-room Hilton hotel. The casino also has an 1,100-seat theatre that has become one of the main music venues in the Outaouais region. The casino is also home to several bars and restaurants. In the casino itself there are more than 1,800 slot machines and more than 65 tables including roulette, blackjack, baccarat, craps, and Texas hold 'em poker. It is open 24/7.

Les Terrasses de la Chaudière is a complex of government office buildings in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. The complex was built in 1978 as part of Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau's initiative to see more federal workers based in the Quebec side of the Ottawa River. It was built by developer Robert Campeau and then leased to the government. This arrangement caused some controversy as Campeau had close links to the governing Liberals. The complex was named after the nearby Chaudière Falls in the Ottawa River. Today its three towers hold some 6,500 federal government office workers. The complex houses the headquarters of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (North Building), the headquarters of the Department of Canadian Heritage (Jules Léger Building (South)), the headquarters of the Canadian Transportation Agency (Jules Léger Building (South)), the headquarters of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC)(Central Building), and other government entities. The centre also holds a shopping complex, a hotel, and a convention centre. The North Building of the complex is the second-tallest building in the National Capital Region, with 30 floors and a height of 124 metres (407 ft). It is surpassed only by the Claridge Icon which stands at a height of 143 meters (469 ft).

Collège Nouvelles-Frontières is a private secondary school (high school) located in Gatineau, in the Outaouais region, in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is located on Rue de Gamelin near the Hull Hospital. It was founded in 1998 to the "request of parents."
