St Merryn (Cornish: S. Meryn) is a civil parish and village in north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) south of the fishing port of Padstow and 11 miles (18 km) northeast of the coastal resort of Newquay. The village has a primary school (St Merryn School, part of Kernow Learning), a veterinary practice, various shops, restaurants, and two public houses. The population at the 2011 census was 1,692.

Constantine Bay (Cornish: Eglos Costentin, meaning church of St Constantine) is a village and beach on the Atlantic coast of north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated approximately three miles (5 km) west of Padstow and is in the parish of St Merryn. The beach is sandy and is popular with surfers and has lifeguard patrols in the summer. Historically the sand was removed by local farmers by horse and cart to spread on the land to lighten and fertilise the heavy soil.Constantine Bay is named after Saint Constantine, a 6th-century Cornish saint possibly identified with a minor British king Constantine. St Constantine's Well, an historic site, is accessible by public right of way on Trevose Golf Club's golf course. The area was a favourite holiday location of Margaret Thatcher during her premiership and also of former Prime Minister David Cameron.Trevose Head and Constantine Bay SSSI is designated for both its biological and geological interests. The dune system at Constantine Bay is in an unfavourable declining condition because of the invasion by species such as bramble, ivy and sea buckthorn; and by visitor pressure causing erosion.Constantine Bay lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The bay is on east side of the headland, Trevose Head and within the parish of St Merryn. The South West Coast Path, which follows the coast of south-west England from Somerset to Dorset follows the cliff above the bay.

Crugmeer (Cornish: Krugmeur, great barrow) is a hamlet in north Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated one-and-a-half miles (2 kilometres) from Padstow to the west of the River Camel estuary. The hamlet consists of half-a-dozen houses and a farm at the junction of two lanes. One lane gives access to Crugmeer from the Padstow-St Merryn road then continues northeast to Lellizzick, Hawker's Cove and Stepper Point. The other lane leads west from Crugmeer to Trevone beach.Crugmeer lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Almost a third of Cornwall has AONB designation, with the same status and protection as a National Park.

Trevose Head (Cornish: Penn Trenfos, meaning farm of the wall's headland) (grid reference SW853764) is a headland on the Atlantic coast of north Cornwall, on the south-western coast of Great Britain. It is situated approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Padstow. The South West Coast Path runs around the whole promontory and is within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Trevose Head Heritage Coast. In clear weather, visitors to Trevose Head can see virtually the whole length of the north Cornwall coast; to the north, the view extends beyond the Cornwall county boundary to Hartland Point (40 miles (64 km)), Devon; to the south, it extends beyond St Ives to the headland at Pendeen Watch (35 miles (56 km)). LB&SCR H2 class 4-4-2 no. 425 (later no. B425, 2425, and 32425) was named Trevose Head after this landmark.
