Elms Bridge Halt railway station

Raglan railway station was a station on the Coleford, Monmouth, Usk and Pontypool Railway. It was not opened when the line was originally built, but constructed in 1876 to replace two previous stopping places, Raglan Footpath, a small station which was situated a little further west, and Raglan Road, an unofficial halt which closed in July 1876 and was reopened as 'Raglan Road Crossing Halt' in November 1930 by the Great Western Railway. The station was 6 miles and 34 chains from Monmouth Troy and was intended to improve the railway facilities at the nearby village of Raglan, which was the site a large castle which provided a steady stream of tourist traffic. It was closed in May 1955 due to a train drivers strike and was never reopened though a couple of special services continued to run along the stretch of track over the next few years, including a centenary special organised by the Stephenson Locomotive Society in 1957.

The Artha, Tregare, Monmouthshire is a farmhouse dating from the mid-17th century. It is a Grade II* listed building.

Pen-y-clawdd Farmhouse, Raglan, Monmouthshire is a gentry house dating from the early 17th century. Owned by the Bradburys, High Sheriffs of Monmouthshire, and later by the Williams family and then the Prichards of Penallt, it remains a privately owned farmhouse. The building is Grade II* listed.

Raglan Footpath was a station on the former Coleford, Monmouth, Usk and Pontypool Railway. It was opened in October 1857 with the rest of the line and located 6 miles and 43 chains from Monmouth Troy. It was intended to serve the village of Raglan, Monmouthshire. It was closed in 1876 along with Raglan Road and replaced by a single station simply called 'Raglan'. The station had a small station house.

Castle Farm, Raglan, in the county of Monmouth, is prominently sited 100 yards (91 m) east of Raglan Castle. The farm is approached from its own drive and shielded from close public view. It was built just before the English Civil War, probably around 1630 and is one of the earliest brick buildings in South Wales. It was originally a stable-block for the castle and later became a farm with a farm courtyard. Some of the farm buildings have been converted into a cafe which serves visitors to the castle. The building is a Grade II listed building and may have been built for the 5th Earl of Worcester to serve Raglan Castle.

Monmouth (Welsh: Mynwy) is a county constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom (at Westminster). The seat was created for the 1918 general election. Since 2005 the Member of Parliament (MP) has been David Davies of the Conservative Party.The Monmouth Senedd constituency, created in 1999, has normally the same boundaries as the Westminster constituency. These cover a large area, omitting the mainly urban areas of Blaenau Gwent in the west and Newport, Wales in the south. The constituency is set to be abolished, as part of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies and under the June 2023 final recommendations of the Boundary Commission for Wales for the next United Kingdom general election. Its wards is to be split between Monmouthshire and Torfaen.

Monmouthshire was a county constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of England from 1536 until 1707, of the Parliament of Great Britain from 1707 to 1801, and of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1801 to 1885. It elected two Members of Parliament (MPs). In 1885 the Monmouthshire constituency was divided to create North Monmouthshire, South Monmouthshire and West Monmouthshire. The constituency is to be re-established, as part of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies and under the June 2023 final proposals of the Boundary Commission for Wales for the next United Kingdom general election.

Tŷ Mawr in Dingestow, Monmouthshire is a complex of farm buildings dating from 1640. The farmhouse and attached barn are listed Grade II*. The gatehouse to the farm has a separate Grade II* listing.

Raglan (; (Welsh: Rhaglan) is a village and community in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, United Kingdom. It is located some 9 miles south-west of Monmouth, midway between Monmouth and Abergavenny on the A40 road very near to the junction with the A449 road. The fame of the village derives from Raglan Castle, built for William ap Thomas and now maintained by Cadw. The community includes the villages of Llandenny and Pen-y-clawdd. Raglan itself has a population of 1,183.

The Church of St Mary at Tregare, Monmouthshire, south east Wales, is the parish church of the village of Tregare. Dating originally from the fourteenth century, the tower is later, probably of the fifteenth century. The church was restored in the early twentieth century. Built in the Decorated style, the church is a Grade II* listed building.

Raglan Castle (Welsh: Castell Rhaglan) is a late medieval castle located just north of the village of Raglan in the county of Monmouthshire in south east Wales. The modern castle dates from between the 15th and early 17th centuries, when the successive ruling families of the Herberts and the Somersets created a luxurious, fortified castle, complete with a large hexagonal keep, known as the Great Tower or the Yellow Tower of Gwent. Surrounded by parkland, water gardens and terraces, the castle was considered by contemporaries to be the equal of any other in England or Wales. During the First English Civil War, Raglan was occupied by a Royalist garrison on behalf of Charles I but was taken by Parliamentarian forces in 1646 and its walls slighted, or deliberately put beyond military use. After the Stuart Restoration in 1660, the Somersets declined to restore it and it became first a source of local building materials, then a romantic ruin. It is now a tourist attraction.

St Cadoc's Church, Raglan, Monmouthshire, south east Wales, is the parish church of the village of Raglan. The church is situated at a cross-roads in the centre of the village. Built originally by the Clare and Bluet families in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, it was rebuilt, and expanded by the Herbert's of Raglan Castle in the fifteenth century. In the nineteenth century, the church was subject to a major restoration by Thomas Henry Wyatt. Built in the Decorated style, the church is a Grade II* listed building.
