Elkhorn Mountain (Washington)

Yacolt Burn State Forest is a 90,000 acre state forest located in southern Washington in the foothills of the Cascade Range. It is named after the Yacolt Burn, a collection of wildfires that broke out in 1902. The Washington State Department of Natural Resources manages the land for timber harvesting and recreation.Long-term ecological research is conducted within a portion of the forest called Abby Road.

Camp Bonneville is a former United States Army post located near Vancouver, Washington. It was established in 1909 and used by the U.S. Army as a rifle range and weapons training facility for troops stationed at Fort Vancouver. Camp Bonneville recommended for closure under the 1995 Base Realignment and Closure Commission and turned over to the Clark County government for re-use as a public park. Cleanup of the 4,000-acre (1,600 ha) site began in the late 2000s, but was halted due to the discovery of toxic chemicals related to military use, including RDX and perchlorate.

The Venersborg School is a historic one-room school located at NE 209th Street and NE 242nd Avenue in Battle Ground, Washington.

Larch Mountain, elevation 3,480 feet (1,060 m), is the highest free-standing peak in Clark County, Washington. (The andesite plugs Pyramid Rock and Sturgeon Rock are higher but are outcroppings on ridges of Silver Star Mountain.) It is laced by a network of gravel roads as part of the Yacolt Burn State Forest. The eastern flank of the mountain was scorched by a gigantic forest fire in September 1902 and subsequently experienced a massive rockslide that rendered that side mostly unvegetated. The southern section of the mountain is part of the Jones Creek Off-Road Vehicle recreation area. From the picnic area at the top, the view is west toward the Vancouver, Washington area and east to Silver Star. A minimum security prison/work camp is situated nearby, whose inmates construct fire roads, fire trails, maintain campgrounds and help fight fires in the area.

Moulton Falls Regional Park is a Clark County recreational park in Yacolt, Washington, United States. The location is notable for its bridge and is a popular trailing, and swimming destination. Th flow is 60 deep from the East Fork Lewis River. It is also a historical location known for preservation by the state, and the bridge has existed since the late 1970s. It officially became recognized as a state park in 2023.

Grove Field (FAA LID: 1W1) is a public airport located three miles (5 km) north of the central business district of Camas, a city in Clark County, Washington, United States. It is located near Lacamas Lake which has a seaplane base. Due to the closing of Evergreen Field, many aircraft have moved to Grove Field.
