Kearby with Netherby is a civil parish in Harrogate district, North Yorkshire, England. The parish includes the hamlets of Barrowby, Netherby and Kearby Town End. The parish had a population of 204 in the 2011 census.Kearby with Netherby was historically a township in the parish of Kirkby Overblow in the West Riding of Yorkshire. It became a separate civil parish in 1866. It was transferred to the new county of North Yorkshire in 1974. Kearby was mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086, as Cherebi. The name probably derives from Kærer, an Old Danish personal name.

Harewood speed Hillclimb (the form with italics and a lower-case s is used officially) is a hillclimb near the village of Harewood, West Yorkshire, England. The track can be found on the A659 between Harewood village and Collingham, north of Leeds. In addition to national events, it hosts rounds of the British Hill Climb Championship, a Classic & Historic Hillclimb and an event that includes bikes. Around 11 meetings are organised between April and September each year by the British Automobile Racing Club Yorkshire Centre. The first event on the track took place on 16 September 1962, and Best Time of the Day was set at 51.61s by Tony Lanfranchi driving an Elva Mk VI. This was on the original 'Short Course'. The first R.A.C. Hill Climb Championship event was held in September, 1964. In the mid 1990s the track was extended to 1,584 yards (1,448 m). As of 2023, the outright hill record holder was Matt Ryder, whose time of 49.39 seconds was set on 3 July 2022 in that day's 2nd Top 12 Runoff.

Kirkby Overblow is a village and civil parish in the Harrogate district of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated between Wetherby and Harrogate and lies to the west of Sicklinghall and the east of Leeds Bradford International Airport. It has a church called All Saints and a Church of England primary school affiliated with the church. Kirkby Overblow has a bus stop, but no railway station or post office.

All Saints' Church is a 15th-century redundant church in the park of Harewood House, the seat of the Lascelles Earls of Harewood, near the village of Harewood, West Yorkshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The church stands in isolation within Harewood Park, as the surrounding village was relocated by the owner of Harewood House, in about 1760, to a location further from the house. Inside the church is the family vault of the Earls of Harewood and a set of six alabaster monuments, which are "the largest collection of alabaster monuments in a parish church within the dates 1419–1510".

Dunkeswick is a hamlet in the civil parish of Kirkby Overblow, in North Yorkshire, England, just north of the River Wharfe, off the A61, around a kilometre north of Harewood and two kilometres south of Kirkby Overblow.

Harewood House ( HAR-wuud, HAIR-) is a country house in Harewood, West Yorkshire, England. Designed by architects John Carr and Robert Adam, it was built, between 1759 and 1771, for Edwin Lascelles, 1st Baron Harewood, a wealthy West Indian plantation and slave owner. The landscape was designed by Lancelot "Capability" Brown and spans 1,000 acres (400 ha) at Harewood. Still home to the Lascelles family, Harewood House is a member of the Treasure Houses of England, a marketing consortium for ten of the foremost historic homes in the country. The house is a Grade I listed building and a number of features in the grounds and courtyard have been listed as Grade I, II* and II.

East Keswick is a village and civil parish in the City of Leeds metropolitan borough, West Yorkshire, England. It lies four miles south west of Wetherby. The population of the civil parish as of the 2011 census was 1,146.

Wike is a hamlet and (as Wyke) a former civil parish, now in the parish of Harewood, north of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It is in the City of Leeds metropolitan borough and is north of Shadwell and Roundhay, west of Scarcroft and south of East Keswick. Many residents use facilities in Leeds as well as in the nearby town of Wetherby. In 1931 the parish had a population of 88.Wike is one of the few villages in Leeds not to be served by a public bus service: the last service 923, operated by Utopia, was rerouted in early 2003. Wike is in the Harewood ward of the Leeds Metropolitan Council and is home to a local Scout and Guide 'back-to-basics' campsite operated by North Leeds District Scout Council, as well as several golf courses including Leeds Golf Centre, which is home to Wike Ridge Golf Course, an 18-hole USGA-standard course, The Oaks, a par 3 course and a footgolf pitch. Also provided is a driving range with Toptracer technology. The golf course has a David Leadbetter teaching academy for all abilities. A notable building which dates from 1726 has a nameplate "The Old Schoolhouse" on School Lane. Funded by Lady Elizabeth Hastings. It was a school Monday to Friday, a church on Sunday, and could be used for meetings until at least 1991. On Fridays the children would put their books away in cupboards, and arrange the desks to make pews for the church, rearranging on Monday. There is also the School Cottage, a one-bedroom bungalow for the teacher. The Schoolhouse has been extended to make a large detached house. Wike Manor is a grade II listed building built in the mid-eighteenth century, and there is a guide post to the east of Island Cottage in Backstone Gill Lane which is also grade II listed.
