Tecumseh () is a town in Essex County in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. It is on Lake St. Clair east of Windsor and had a population of 23,229 at the 2016 census. It is part of the Windsor census metropolitan area, and is a part of the Windsor-Essex County region along with Amherstburg, Kingsville, Lakeshore, LaSalle and Leamington. Tecumseh was originally a Franco-Ontarian settlement. Food processing is a major industry in Tecumseh, as Bonduelle owns a food processing plant near the town. The plant was built by Green Giant in 1931. Green Giant sold the plant in the late 1990s to Family Tradition Foods, who sold it to Carrière Foods in 2006. Carrière Foods was purchased in 2007 by Bonduelle.The Tecumseh Corn Festival has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Festivals in Ontario by Festivals and Events Ontario.Tecumseh is surrounded by Lake Erie, Lake St. Clair and the Detroit River. Detroit is easily accessible to Tecumseh residents by the Ambassador Bridge or the Detroit–Windsor Tunnel, both of which are located within the neighbouring municipality of Windsor. The town is named after Tecumseh, an 18th-century Shawnee chief and warrior who promoted resistance to the expansion of the United States onto Native American lands.

Maidstone, Ontario, is a small hamlet on Essex County Road 34 in the municipality of Lakeshore, Ontario, Canada, since amalgamation in 1999. The town has a post office, a school, baseball diamonds, a park, a conservation area, a cemetery, a church, restaurant, community center and a grain elevator. The Windsor Star printed an article in 2006 projecting that the community's population would soar to over 2,000 within the next 10 years (at the time, it was around 580) due to the explosive growth in Tecumseh. It is unknown if this will happen, as Maidstone is closer to Essex than to Windsor and Tecumseh. The community was served by three main Provincial Highways in the past: Highway 3, until it was diverted onto its current alignment in 1977, Highway 114 (now just Malden Road, from CR 34/Former Highway 3, north to Middle Road, CR 46), and Highway 98, which was decommissioned in 1970, and became Essex County Road 46. It is also served by the very busy Manning Road (Essex CR 19).

Oldcastle is an unincorporated community in the town of Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada. It is bounded to the north by Highway 3, to the east by the Chrysler Canada Greenway trail, to the south by County Road 8 (Townline), and to the west by Howard Avenue. It is the starting point of the Chrysler Canada Greenway rail trail. Its western half consists primarily of industries and businesses, while the remaining area is farmland and residential.

The Chrysler Canada Greenway is a 42 km-long rail trail in Essex County, Ontario, Canada, stretching from Oldcastle (near Windsor) to Leamington.

Talbot Trail Public School is a public elementary school in Windsor, Ontario. Built in 2005 to ease overcrowding at neighbouring elementary schools, Talbot Trail is known for being the first of several planned "themed" schools to be built in Ontario, and the school's theme of exploration led it to be honoured as one of the Top 25 Schools in Canada by a 2007 edition of Today's Parent magazine.

Windsor International Airport (IATA: YQG, ICAO: CYQG) is located in the southeast portion of the city of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The airport serves a mixture of scheduled airline flights and general aviation, and is a popular point of entry into Canada for private and business aircraft. The airspace above the airport is exceptionally busy because of the proximity to Detroit Metropolitan Airport, and Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) arrivals and departures are handled by Detroit approach control. The airport is classified as an airport of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). CBSA officers at this airport can handle aircraft up to 325 passengers, and can handle up to 450 if the aircraft is unloaded in stages.

CBE-FM is the call sign of the CBC Music station in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The station broadcasts at 89.9 FM. The station was launched on March 4, 1979.

CBEW-FM (97.5 MHz) is the call sign of the CBC Radio One station based in and serving Windsor, Ontario, Canada. CBEW broadcasts from transmission facilities at McGregor and also reaches the nearby Detroit area and parts of Southwestern Ontario through relay transmitters in Chatham–Kent, Leamington, and Sarnia.

The Canadian Aviation Museum (CAM), is a non-profit organization and aviation museum located at the Windsor International Airport in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The museum has 12 jets and propeller-driven aircraft on display. They are committed to preserving aircraft which have significance to the history of Canadian aviation. Displayed is a collection of Canadian aircraft, many in flying condition. The museum is also restoring several Second World War aircraft, including a De Havilland Mosquito and Avro Lancaster. The airworthy aircraft conduct honour flights, special event fly-bys and appear at aviation events around southern Ontario.

The Cypher Systems Group Greenway (formerly Amherstburg–Essex Greenway) is a 23.9-kilometre (14.9 mi) rail trail along a former CN Rail spur line in the town of Essex, Ontario, Canada. As of May 2013, the trail extends from Sadler's Park in Essex towards Amherstburg. CN Rail had donated this spur line in 1997, following the donation of its other subdivision, which is now the Chrysler Canada Greenway, in 1993, to ERCA, which manages the trail. The total distance of the former rail line is 28 kilometres (17 mi), and extends via McGregor to Amherstburg. ERCA has stated they intended on linking to the Chrysler Canada Greenway and Amherstburg when funds become available, which was finally realized in the summer of 2017.
