Waldhäuserriegel (1151 m) is a mountain of Bavaria, Germany. It is located northeast of the city of Grafenau and lies in the protected Core Zone of the Bavarian Forest National Park, only two kilometers from the border between Germany and the Czech Republic. The summit is above the tree line, but the slopes are almost completely covered in coniferous alpine forest. The nearest settlement is the district of Waldhäuser in the community of Neuschönau. The nearest mountains are Lusen (1373 m) to the northeast and Hohlstein to the east (1196 m).

Lusen (Czech: Luzný) is a mountain in Bavaria (Germany) and in the Plzeň Region of (Czech Republic) with a peak of 1373 metres. It is the sixth-highest mountain in the Bavarian Forest National Park/Bohemian Forest, behind the Großer Rachel, Kleiner Rachel, Kleiner Arber, Plattenhausenriegel and Großer Arber. Its peak is about 4,450 feet (1,360 m) south of the Czech Republic–Germany border. Streams forming on the north side become tributaries of the Vydra. The Lusen is popular for hiking in summer and winter. There is a winter trail which is usually cleared of snow. The garden contains over 700 plant species found in the Bavarian Forest, in habitats ranging from meadows, slopes, and rock fields, to springs, ponds, and bogs. It also includes geological displays.

Its name probably comes from the Middle High German ("bien"="near" and "stand"="forest pasture", see also Kirchlinger Stand) and means "near the forest pasture".
