St. Catherine University (St. Kate's) is a private Catholic liberal arts university in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It was established as one of the first institutions of higher learning specifically for women in the Midwest and was known as the College of St. Catherine until 2009. Today, St. Kate's offers baccalaureate programs for women, plus graduate and associate programs for women and men. The university averages about 5,000 students annually. It focuses on recruiting and enrolling minority students and non-traditional aged students. St. Catherine's Weekend College — now College for Adults — was the second such program in the nation and the first in the Upper Midwest. St. Kate's was also the first private college in the nation to launch an effort to attract, welcome, and retain Hmong students, making it home to one of the largest populations of Hmong scholars in the nation.

Derham Hall and Our Lady of Victory Chapel are administrative and religious buildings, respectively, at St. Catherine University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. Derham Hall was built from 1903 to 1904 and Our Lady of Victory Chapel was constructed in 1923. The two buildings were jointly listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 for their local significance in the themes of architecture, education, and religion. They were nominated for being the core buildings of Minnesota's oldest Catholic liberal arts college for women, with well-preserved collegiate architecture of their respective eras.

Hidden Falls is a waterfall within a protected natural and recreational area along the Mississippi River bluffs in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. The waterfall is within Hidden Falls Regional Park, a public park maintained by the City of Saint Paul. The main feature of the park is the small, spring-feed waterfall for which the park is named. The waterfall may be dry in periods of limited precipitation.

Lubavitch Cheder Day School a.k.a. Chabad Lubavitch Jewish Educational Center is a Kindergarten through 8th grade Chabad Jewish day school with an attached 16 months through 5 year old preschool in Saint Paul, Minnesota United States. The school was founded in 1977 by shaliach couple Rabbi Moshe and Mindelle Feller, Mrs. Feller served as founding principal. The couple began the Upper Midwest Merkos-Lubavitch House in 1961. They used the basement of the Chabad house in the first years of the school before upgrading to a trailer and then the modern school building. A duplex was added on the property to house the day care and preschool, and a playground added between them. In the 2017–2018 school year, 100 children from ages 16 months through eighth grade attend the preschool and school. Enrollment has been steadily dropping, and as of 2021, was made up of 43 students. Today Rabbi Shlomo Bendet serves as executive director, Rabbi Yossi Bendet as director of development. The school runs intergenerational programming at a local senior center. The school is Co-ed with mixed classes in the younger grades, and separated classes for the older grades. Uniforms are required. The school is a member of JEM Foundation as well as Tzivos Hashem. The preschool and daycare, known as Gan Preschool has a maximum capacity of 37 children and license number 1112282 During the summer, the preschool runs a Junior Gan Izzy summer program.

The Twin Cities Assembly Plant is a former Ford Motor Company manufacturing facility in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States, that operated from 1925 to 2011. In 1912, Ford's first assembly and sales activities in Minnesota began in a former warehouse in Minneapolis. By 1925, Ford had relocated its local operations to the bluffs above the Mississippi River in the Highland Park neighborhood of Saint Paul. In 2006, Ford officials announced plans to close the factory, though it operated for three years past the 2008 closure date initially announced. At the time of its closure, it was the oldest Ford plant in continuous operation. The plant's final truck was completed on December 16, 2011. All of the facility's buildings were demolished and the site underwent extensive environment remediation in the late 2010s, paid for by the Ford company. Following a multi-year planning and community engagement process, the site was sold to the Ryan Companies, who began redevelopment of the site in 2020 as Highland Bridge, a 122-acre residential and commercial district.

Ford & Woodlawn is a bus rapid transit station on the METRO A Line in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The station is located at the intersection of Woodlawn Avenue on Ford Parkway. Both station platforms are located east of Woodlawn Avenue. The station is situated directly north of the former Twin Cities Assembly Plant, 135 acres of land that will be redeveloped into a mixed-use neighborhood by the City of Saint Paul and Ryan Companies.The station opened June 11, 2016 with the rest of the A Line.

Ford Dam, officially known as Lock and Dam No. 1, is on the Upper Mississippi River and is located between Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota just north of the confluence of the Mississippi with the Minnesota River at Mississippi River mile 847.9, in Minneapolis. The powerhouse portion was previously owned by the Ford Motor Company, which operated a hydroelectric power station to feed electricity to its Twin Cities Assembly Plant on the east side of the river. It was sold to Brookfield Power Co. in April 2008. The dual-lock facility and dam was built and is operated by the St. Paul district of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Mississippi Valley Division.

St. Paul Academy and Summit School is a college preparatory independent day school in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States, for students in grades K–12. The school was established through a merger in 1969 of St. Paul Academy, a school for boys, and Summit School, a school for girls. St. Paul Academy was founded in 1900 and Summit School in 1917. Accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States, SPA is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, the Cum Laude Society, and The College Board. Recent commencement speakers have included Al Franken, Wilhelmina Wright, Coretta Scott King, and Garrison Keillor.

The William and Catherine Davern Farm House is an Italianate farmhouse built in 1862 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. It is one of a small number of surviving farmhouses in Saint Paul. William Davern was a member of the first territorial legislature. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
