St. Catherine University (St. Kate's) is a private Catholic liberal arts university in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It was established as one of the first institutions of higher learning specifically for women in the Midwest and was known as the College of St. Catherine until 2009. Today, St. Kate's offers baccalaureate programs for women, plus graduate and associate programs for women and men. The university averages about 5,000 students annually. It focuses on recruiting and enrolling minority students and non-traditional aged students. St. Catherine's Weekend College — now College for Adults — was the second such program in the nation and the first in the Upper Midwest. St. Kate's was also the first private college in the nation to launch an effort to attract, welcome, and retain Hmong students, making it home to one of the largest populations of Hmong scholars in the nation.

Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School is located in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. It is a private and Catholic PreK-8 grade school. The school was founded in 1928 and has expanded over the years, the most recent time being in 2008. A large renovation, including the new library and new entrance way were added that year. In December 2017 and January 2018, the school's gymnasium got a new floor after the old floor began lifting during a November renovation. It was also re-painted. The Highland Park Water Tower is a water tower in the Highland Park area of Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. It was designed by Clarence W. Wigington, the nation's first African-American municipal architect.: 334  The tower was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It was completed in 1928 at a cost of $69,483.The octagonally-shaped tower, on the second-highest of seven hills in Saint Paul, is constructed of brick and cut Kasota and Bedford stone. It is between 127 and 134 feet high and holds 200,000 gallons of water in a steel tank. It is topped with an arched observation deck, open to the public on two special occasions per year (Highland Fest and the second weekend in October) for those willing to climb 151 steps. Beneath the observation deck, it is ornamented with carved downspouts and shields. The tower has been virtually unaltered since it was originally built.: 530  The Highland Park water tower service area of Saint Paul is bounded by Dayton Avenue on the north, Edgcumbe Road on the south and east, and Fairview Avenue on the west, but the tower is no longer in active service. At its highest point, the tower reaches 440 feet in elevation above sea level. Its width at the base is 40 feet, and its width at the top observation deck is 36 feet.

Derham Hall and Our Lady of Victory Chapel are administrative and religious buildings, respectively, at St. Catherine University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. Derham Hall was built from 1903 to 1904 and Our Lady of Victory Chapel was constructed in 1923. The two buildings were jointly listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 for their local significance in the themes of architecture, education, and religion. They were nominated for being the core buildings of Minnesota's oldest Catholic liberal arts college for women, with well-preserved collegiate architecture of their respective eras.
