WHKC (91.5 MHz) is a non-profit FM radio station in Columbus, Ohio. It is owned by Christian Broadcasting Services and airs a Christian talk and teaching radio format, calling itself "Freedom FM." National religious leaders heard on WHKC include Dr. Charles Stanley, Alistair Begg, Joyce Meyer, David Jeremiah, Adrian Rogers and Jim Daly.

Dan's Drive-In is a historic diner in Columbus, Ohio. The diner was built in 1958, and was added to the Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 2018. The diner was deemed significant in representing the 1950s and 1960s, through to 1969 when mom-and-pop diners began to diminish. The structure was designed in a vernacular style, utilizing concrete blocks and metal. It is an excellent example of a mid 20th century drive-through diner, and one of few mid-century diners left in Columbus.

Green Lawn Abbey, built in 1927, is a historic mausoleum located at 700 Greenlawn Avenue in South Franklinton in Franklin Township, near Columbus, Ohio. On June 27, 2007, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Thurn's Specialty Meats or Thurn's is a smokehouse in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in 1886 and continues to operate using the same methods and recipes for 136 years.

Green Lawn Cemetery is a historic private rural cemetery located in Columbus, Ohio, in the United States. Organized in 1848 and opened in 1849, the cemetery was the city's premier burying ground in the 1800s and beyond. An American Civil War memorial was erected there in 1891, and chapel constructed in 1902. With 360 acres (150 ha), it is Ohio's second-largest cemetery.

Hungarian Village is located in Columbus, Ohio, south of downtown. It is located in Franklin County, within the boundaries of Parsons Avenue, South High Street, East Innis Avenue and Hinman Avenue.

Southwood Elementary School is a public elementary school in Columbus, Ohio, part of Columbus City Schools. The school building, located in the city's Merion Village neighborhood, was completed in 1894 and was designed by David Riebel. It was added to the Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 2002.The school opened on December 3, 1894. The first principal, Mary K. Esper, held the position from 1894 to 1923. The next principal, Elizabeth Jung, held the role from 1923 to 1930. During the 1995 school year, the school celebrated its 100-year anniversary with numerous events. In 2007, the building underwent renovations. During remodeling, workers removed chalkboards dating to the 1930s-1940s and uncovered chalkboards likely original to the building. A few had chalk murals, and the Columbus Dispatch reported at the time that they might be preserved as historical artifacts if the school district permitted it.The school building was the first designed by Riebel in Merion Village. It was built in the Richardsonian Romanesque style, and features a monumental central tower. It is nearly identical to the Felton School, also designed by Riebel, built one year earlier, and demolished in 1990.

The Reeb Avenue Center is a community center and 501(c)(3) in the Reeb-Hosack neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The Reeb Center opened in 2015, after a $12.5 million renovation. The Center and its multiple nonprofit subtenants provide services including workforce development and job training, early learning preschool and child care, after-school and summer programming for school-aged children, a variety of social services, and a cafe which serves weekday lunches and Tuesday evening dinner. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Center partially closed for three months, then began reopening in May 2020 to promptly return to serving local area residents.The building was built as Columbus Public Schools' Reeb Avenue Elementary School, and was listed on the Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 2013. It was designed in the Neoclassical style by David Riebel, and was built from 1905 to 1907. The building is now owned by the City of Columbus.

Tosheff's Restaurant and Hotel is a historic building in the Reeb-Hosack neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1920 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. The restaurant and hotel are one of few remainders of the historic Steelton industrial area, and closely connected to the eastern European neighborhood there. The industrial district was centered on Parsons Avenue, and relied upon the Buckeye Steel Castings Company, American Rolling Mill Company, the Chase Foundry and Manufacturing Company, the Federal Glass Company, and the Seagraves firetruck manufacturing plant.Tosheff's was one of the first commercial buildings, at a time when the area was still primarily residential. George Tosheff has opened a restaurant there in leased space by 1918 and lived directly above it. By 1923, the new building housed a jeweler, barber, men's clothing store, and a billiards hall. Tosheff's restaurant was located on the first floor, and his hotel on the second (the South End Hotel, later Tosheff's Hotel). Tosheff sold the restaurant near the start of World War II, and operated the hotel until he sold the entire building in 1965.The two-story brick building appears as two side-by-side, but was built and completed at the same time, and joints connect them. Behind the middle third of the building lies a one-story addition which held hotel rooms, part of which was constructed c. 1920 and part c. 1947.

Cooper Stadium was a baseball stadium in Columbus, Ohio that was built in 1931 and closed in 2008. It was the home of several minor league teams, including the Columbus Clippers from 1977 to 2008.

Mount Calvary Cemetery is a Roman Catholic cemetery in Columbus, Ohio, located west of downtown next to Green Lawn Cemetery and by the now-abandoned Cooper Stadium. It is the oldest active Catholic cemetery in Franklin County. It is maintained by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus, and has approximately 40,000 interments over 40 acres (16 ha).Mount Calvary is divided into two sections that were historically paid for and separately maintained by two parishes of different ethnic backgrounds. The north section, "Holy Cross," was for the German parish, and the "Cathedral" section was for the Irish parish. Separating those two sections is the "Priests' Circle," reserved for clergy.

Briggsdale is a neighborhood of Franklin County in the city of Columbus, Ohio. The neighborhood is on the west/southwest side of the city within the Hilltop area. The area was first settled and founded by the family of Joseph M. Briggs, after whom the neighborhood was named. Joseph Briggs was an active figure in the early years of the township and county operations. The Briggsdale Methodist church was founded with his help, and it now exists as the New Horizons Methodist Church. The present day Briggsdale neighborhood is located near the historical Green Lawn Cemetery to the north as well as Briggs High School to the west.
