United States Army Women's Museum

The Quartermaster School (QMS) is a subordinate command of the United States Army's Combined Arms Support Command and is located at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia.

The Quartermaster Hall of Fame Program is to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the Quartermaster Corps. It was established in November 1985 as part of the Quartermaster Regimental honors program. The Hall of Fame in Mifflin Hall at Fort Gregg-Adams, VA was opened on 12 June 1986. New inductees are selected every year, with the ceremony held annually.

The United States Army Quartermaster Museum, located at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia, is an AAM accredited museum in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The museum's aim is to preserve and exhibit the history of the Quartermaster Corps, which was formed in 1775. Its collection comprises more than 24,000 items. The Museum also serves the Quartermaster Center and School as a classroom for the teaching of history, educating more than 16,000 soldiers, non-commissioned officers, warrant officers, and officers a year.

The U.S. Army Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE) [pronounced sko or sko-e] is a subordinate organization under the U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia. Its mission is to oversee and coordinate the functions of the 5 sustainment branches of the Army (Quartermaster Corps, Ordnance Corps, Transportation Corps, Adjutant General Corps, Finance Corps) and the Army Sustainment University. The CASCOM commander is dual-hatted as the commander of SCoE.

The United States Army Ordnance Training Support Facility (formerly known as the U.S. Army Ordnance Training and Heritage Center and U.S. Army Ordnance Museum) artifacts are used to train and educate logistic soldiers. It re-located to Fort Lee, outside Petersburg, Virginia. Its previous incarnation was the United States Army Ordnance Museum at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Maryland which closed in September 2010.

Kenner Army Health Clinic – formerly Kenner Army Community Hospital – is the primary health care facility for Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia.

Fort Gregg-Adams, in Prince George County, Virginia, United States, is a United States Army post and headquarters of the United States Army Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM)/ Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE), the U.S. Army Quartermaster School, the U.S. Army Ordnance School, the U.S. Army Transportation School, the Army Sustainment University (ALU), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and the U.S. Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). Fort Gregg-Adams also hosts two Army museums, the U.S. Army Quartermaster Museum and the U.S. Army Women's Museum. The equipment and other materiel associated with the Army's Ordnance Museum was moved to Fort Gregg-Adams in 2009–2010 for use by the United States Army Ordnance Training and Heritage Center. The installation was initially named Camp Lee (changed to Fort Lee in 1950) after Confederate States General, Robert E. Lee. It is one of the U.S. Army installations named for Confederate soldiers that The Naming Commission had recommended be renamed. On August 8, 2022, the commission proposed the name be changed to Fort Gregg-Adams, after Lieutenant General Arthur J. Gregg and Lieutenant Colonel Charity Adams Earley. On October 6, 2022 Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin accepted the recommendation and directed the name change occur no later than January 1, 2024. On January 5, 2023 William A. LaPlante, US under-secretary of defense for acquisition and sustainment (USD (A&S)) directed the full implementation of the recommendations of the Naming Commission, DoD-wide. On April 27, 2023 the post was redesignated Fort Gregg-Adams.Fort Gregg-Adams is a census-designated place (CDP) with a population of 9,874 as of the 2020 census – nearly triple the size of the 2010 census count.

Lee National Forest was established in Virginia by the U.S. Forest Service on April 10, 1925 with 7,177 acres (29.04 km2) from part of the Lee Military Reservation. On June 23, 1928 the executive order for its creation was rescinded and the forest was abolished.

Fort Lee Air Force Station is a former United States Air Force station. It is located 2.9 miles (4.7 km) northwest of Prince George, Virginia. It was closed in 1983 due to budget cuts.

Petersburg National Battlefield is a National Park Service unit preserving sites related to the American Civil War Siege of Petersburg (1864–65). The battlefield is near the city of Petersburg, Virginia, and includes outlying components in Hopewell, Prince George County, and Dinwiddie County. Over 140,000 people visit the park annually.

The Battle of Fort Stedman, also known as the Battle of Hare's Hill, was fought on March 25, 1865, during the final weeks of the American Civil War. The Union Army fortification in the siege lines around Petersburg, Virginia, was attacked in a pre-dawn Confederate assault by troops led by Maj. Gen. John B. Gordon. The attack was the last serious attempt by Confederate troops to break the Siege of Petersburg. After an initial success, Gordon's men were driven back by Union troops of the IX Corps commanded by Maj. Gen. John G. Parke.

WKJM (99.3 FM) is an urban adult contemporary formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Petersburg, Virginia, serving Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Chesterfield in Virginia. WKJM is owned and operated by Radio One. The station's studios and offices are located just north of Richmond proper on Emerywood Parkway in unincorporated Henrico County, and its transmitter is located in Petersburg.
