All Saints', Granby is a Church of England parish church in Granby, Nottinghamshire, England. The building is Grade I listed by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport for outstanding architectural or historic interest.

Royal Air Force Langar or more simply RAF Langar is a former Royal Air Force station located near the village of Langar, Nottinghamshire, England. The airfield is located approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) east-southeast of Radcliffe on Trent and about 100 miles (160 km) north-northwest of London, England. Opened in 1942 during the Second World War, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as troop carrier transport airfield. After the war it was provided to the Royal Canadian Air Force which used it as an operational base until 1963. Today the airfield is the location for the British Parachute Schools, who use the original control tower for their headquarters. The former Avro industrial complex is used by private industry.

The town of Melton Mowbray is six miles (10 km) to the south. In 1931 the civil parish had a population of 421, the 2011 population of the built-up area being 580.

Clawson, Hose and Harby is a civil parish in Leicestershire, England, forming part of the Melton district. It contains the villages of Harby, Hose and Long Clawson and the parish was created from those former parishes on 1 April 1936 (originally named as just "Clawson and Harby"). Harby Hill Wood is a 16.9-hectare (42-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest west of Eastwell in Leicestershire. This site has steeply sloping ash and sycamore woodland, with areas of spring-fed marsh and colonies of wild daffodils. There is also an area of species-rich dry grassland, which has flora such as pignut and musk thistle. The site is private land but it is crossed by public footpaths.

Grantham Canal SSSI is a 9.5-hectare (23-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest which runs along a stretch of the Grantham Canal and its banks between Redmile and Harby in Leicestershire.This site has diverse aquatic and terrestrial habitats, which supports a varied insect community. The canal has floating plants such as fat duckweed and water fern, and there are breeding birds such as sedge warblers, moorhens and reed warblers.There is access to the canal towpath.

Langar cum Barnstone is a civil parish in the Rushcliffe borough, within the county of Nottinghamshire, England. The overall area had a population of 962 at the 2021 census, a drop from 980 of the 2011 census. The parish lies near the county border with Leicestershire. It lies 120 miles north of London, 4 miles south east of Bingham and 12 miles south east from the city of Nottingham.

Stathern is an English village and civil parish in the Melton district of Leicestershire. It lies in the Vale of Belvoir about 10 miles (16 km) north of Melton Mowbray. Its church has an unusual dedication and its school a long history. Its pub doubles as a post office.

Long Clawson and Hose railway station was a railway station serving the villages of Long Clawson and Hose, Leicestershire on the Great Northern and London and North Western Joint Railway. It opened in 1879 and closed to regular traffic in 1953.

It is about 9 miles (14 km) north of the market town of Melton Mowbray and 7 miles (11 km) west from Grantham. Plungar is adjacent to the Grantham Canal and stands in the Vale of Belvoir. In 1931 the parish had a population of 205.
