Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center

Pueblo Zoo is a 25-acre (10.1 ha) zoo located in Pueblo, Colorado in the United States. The zoo is open year-round and is home to over 420 animals of more than 140 species. The Pueblo Zoological Society manages the zoo, which is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The original core of the zoo was built 1933–1940 by the Public Works Administration, Civilian Conservation Corps, and Works Progress Administration and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Pueblo City Park Zoo.

KKPC (1230 AM) is a radio station licensed to Pueblo, Colorado. The station is owned by Mountain Radio Group, through licensee Colorado Radio Marketing, LLC. KKPC signed on in February 1948 as KDZA, which from around 1962 until the mid-1980s was Pueblo's AM Top 40 outlet. On September 23, 2021, KKPC changed their format from Colorado Public Radio news/talk to adult hits, branded as "101.9 The Lake".

The Pueblo City Park Carousel is a historic carousel in Pueblo, Colorado, United States. Built in 1911, it is a Parker #72 /Stein & Goldstein carousel. Its horses are believed to have been carved circa 1907. In 1983, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and it is currently owned by Pueblo City Park.

Pueblo City Park is a park established in 1904 in Pueblo, Colorado. It is managed by the Pueblo Department of Parks and Recreation. When the park first opened in 1904, the Pueblo Star-Journal published a full-page description of the park under the headline "City Park, Soon To Be Opened To The Public, Will Have The Handsomest Gates In The West."

Chávez Huerta K-12 Preparatory Academy is a charter school system in Pueblo, Colorado. It is divided into two campuses: César Chávez Academy (CCA), the elementary-middle school; and Dolores Huerta Preparatory High School (DHPH), the only charter high school in Pueblo.

The Southwest Motors Events Center (originally the Colorado State Fair Events Center) is a multi-purpose arena located in Pueblo, Colorado. The arena is located on the northwest corner of the Colorado State Fairgrounds and is predominantly used during the Colorado State Fair. The venue can host an array of events, including: concerts, professional bull riding, indoor football, basketball games and monster truck shows.

South High School is the second-oldest high school in Pueblo City Schools (District 60) on the south side of Pueblo, Colorado, United States. The school's colors are black and white, and the mascot is the colt.

The Colorado State Fair is an event held annually in late August in Pueblo, Colorado. The state fair has been a tradition since October 9, 1872.The fairgrounds also host a number of other events during the rest of the year. Organizationally, the fair is one of the divisions of the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

The First Congregational Church in Pueblo, Colorado is a Romanesque Revival style church building constructed in 1889. The building designed by Fred A. Hale and constructed in 1889 with Manitou sandstone includes a bell tower. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

KTPJ-LP (105.9 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a religious radio format as an affiliate of LifeTalk Radio and 3ABN. Licensed to Pueblo, Colorado, United States, it serves the Pueblo area. The station is currently owned by the Hope Radio Of Pueblo Corporation.

The Colorado State Mental Hospital at Pueblo was Colorado state's largest institution dedicated to caring for the mentally ill until 1962, when the process of regional decentralization resulted in it only serving the Pueblo area. The hospital itself first began operating in the 1880s. The main building of the hospital was opened on November 20, 1883. This early iteration of the Asylum was capable of holding 210 people across 6 wards and was generally equally divided between male and female patients. Asylum leadership consistently had to deal with overcrowding. To combat this, many additions were made to the hospital throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In early 1889 it was reported in the Leadville Daily Times that the hospital had requested a total of $93,436.27 for new constructions on their grounds. These additions did not permanently solve the overcrowding issue, which was addressed through new constructions up until the 1960s. In 1946, the hospital had 4,811 patients enrolled. The majority of the patients came from Colorado's three largest cities, Denver, Pueblo, and Colorado Springs, which made up over half of those receiving care at the hospital and their respective counties totaled 3,183 patients. Patient care and the constant need for new constructions led the hospital towards a difficult financial situation. In 1947, a special legislative committee indicated that they would be selling the Woodcroft portion of the hospital due to its poor condition and financial burdenThe hospital continued to expand up until 1962, when geographic decentralization led to the establishment of regional treatment hospitals that were located close to the patients home community. This resulted in smaller hospital units that were more able to provide intimate and personalized care. Currently, the hospital encompasses a 300-acre campus with numerous buildings for mental healthcare. In 2022, the hospital is capable of caring for 516 patients and cares for children, adults, and the elderly. The hospital also cares for those who were deemed incompetent after criminal proceedings or are still pending such a judgement.
