Pueblo Community College (PCC) is a public community college in Pueblo, Colorado.

The Orman-Adams House, at 102 W. Orman Ave. in Pueblo, Colorado, was built in 1890. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.It was designed by architect William A. Lang and built by contractors Blackwell & Genest.It was deemed "an excellent example of Romanesque Revival" architecture, in particular of Richardsonian Romanesque. Its significance, however, derives not from its architecture but from its association with its residents, who included Colorado governors James B. Orman and Alva B. Adams. Orman was the original owner and had the house built in 1890; he lived there from 1891 to 1918. He served as governor of the state from 1901 to 1903. In 1918, Adams and family moved in. Adams served as governor during three periods: from 1887 to 1889, from 1897 to 1899, and for one day in March, 1905. He died in 1922. His son Alva B. Adams lived in the house from 1918 until his death in 1941, and served as U.S. Senator for the state from 1922 to 1924, and then again from 1932 to his death.The house continued in use as a private residence until 1952, when it became an administrative office building of the local public school district. It was still serving in that capacity when it was listed in 1975. It has also been known as School Administration Building.The house is one of a number of large stately homes in the South Pueblo neighborhood.

The Galligan House, at 501 Colorado Ave. in Pueblo, Colorado, is a Queen Anne-style house which was built in 1891 for a prominent Pueblo lawyer. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.It was built for Judge Mathew J. Galligan and his wife Minnie J. Bailey Galligan by Miles McGrath. McGrath was the architect, contractor and building supervisor. Galligan (1855-1930), was born in Washington County, Wisconsin, worked for Union Pacific in Nebraska and Iowa, and studied law, and practiced briefly in Denver, and moved to Pueblo in 1883.The house was deemed "significant architecturally as an intact example of a well designed and beautifully finished upper-class dwelling of its era" and "significant historically for its connection with the well respected and civic minded lawyer, Mathew J. Galligan. Members of the Galligan family lived in the home for eighty-six years."Another source calls the house "a fine example of the Queen Anne style with its wrap around porch and circular tower."

The Martin Walter House, also known as Walter's Mansion, at 300 W. Abriendo Ave. in Pueblo, Colorado, was built c. 1906–08. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Charles H. Stickney House in Pueblo, Colorado, USA, was built in 1890. It was designed by New York architect William Halsey Wood, and Pueblo architect Frederick Albert Hale supervised its construction.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.It was deemed significant "for its unusual Norman design uncommon in Pueblo, for its interesting use of materials, and for its association with Charles Stickney." Features associated with Norman architecture are the two towers, the arched entrance, and its applied shingled detailing.Charles H. Stickney (b. 1854) arrived in Colorado in 1880 and was a banker in Longmont. He sold his business there and moved to Pueblo in 1887. He joined Andrew McClelland in a business that year. He opened a new business, Charles H. Stickney Co. Investment Bankers, in 1892, which handled mortgage loans and bonds secured on Pueblo properties with corresponding bank First National Bank of Boston. In 1905 it added insurance and other services. He was active in the community, serving on the boards of the YWCA and the McLelland Library, and helping the First Congregational Church of South Pueblo build its church.The Orman-Adams Mansion, across Colorado Avenue from the house, is also listed on the National Register.

Central High School is one of six public high schools located in Pueblo, Colorado, United States. A part of Pueblo School District 60, the high school was the second for the city of Pueblo, and was founded in 1881. It is the only high school to have two Medal of Honor recipients, William J. Crawford (Class of '36) and Carl L. Sitter (Class of '40).

The old First Methodist Episcopal Church, also known as First Methodist Episcopal Church, South, is a historic redbrick Southern Methodist church building located at 400 Broadway in Pueblo, Colorado. Designed by George W. Roe in the Romanesque Revival style of architecture, it was built in 1902. In 1939 it became the Trinity Methodist Church. Bought by the George F McCarthy Funeral Home in 1954, it is now the George McCarthy Historic Chapel and is used for funeral services. On November 14, 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic PlacesIt is a one-and-a-half-story stretcher bond brick building. The church was organized in 1871 and had its first building, the Corona Chapel, built in 1877 at what is now 217 Midway.

Vail Hotel is located in Pueblo, Colorado. Named after Pueblo newspaperman John E Vail, the hotel constructed in 1910 was considered to be the most modern hotel west of Chicago at that time.

The Pueblo City-County Library District is a public library system serving Pueblo County, Colorado. The main branch, the Robert Hoag Rawlings Public Library, is located in the Mesa Junction neighborhood of the City of Pueblo, Colorado. Aside from physical books the library system also provides E-book downloads, Audiobook's, DVD collections, music, streaming movies and free wireless internet connectivity.The main branch also hosts the InfoZone News Museum which features vintage equipment from The Pueblo Chieftain, a history of newspapers, art exhibits and films.

The Colorado State Fair is an event held annually in late August in Pueblo, Colorado. The state fair has been a tradition since October 9, 1872.The fairgrounds also host a number of other events during the rest of the year. Organizationally, the fair is one of the divisions of the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

Pueblo Catholic High School was a Catholic high school in Pueblo, Colorado, under the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pueblo. The school closed in 1971.The first Catholic school in Pueblo opened on Michigan Street in 1875 as St. Patrick High School, it was renamed in 1935 to Pueblo Catholic High. In 1950 A new Pueblo Catholic High School building was completed on Lake Avenue.

The Diocese of Pueblo (Latin: Dioecesis Pueblensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in southern Colorado. The diocese was created on November 15, 1941. It encompasses the southern half of Colorado, from the state's borders with Utah to the west, to Kansas in the east. The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Pueblo is the seat of the diocese. The Diocese of Pueblo is a suffragan diocese part of the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Denver. In 2009, the diocese had nearly 100,000 registered Catholics, about 16% of the population.
