South High School is the second-oldest high school in Pueblo City Schools (District 60) on the south side of Pueblo, Colorado, United States. The school's colors are black and white, and the mascot is the colt.

The Southwest Motors Events Center (originally the Colorado State Fair Events Center) is a multi-purpose arena located in Pueblo, Colorado. The arena is located on the northwest corner of the Colorado State Fairgrounds and is predominantly used during the Colorado State Fair. The venue can host an array of events, including: concerts, professional bull riding, indoor football, basketball games and monster truck shows.

The Colorado State Fair is an event held annually in late August in Pueblo, Colorado. Pueblo Zoo is a 25-acre (10.1 ha) zoo located in Pueblo, Colorado in the United States. The zoo is open year-round and is home to over 420 animals of more than 140 species. The Pueblo Zoological Society manages the zoo, which is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The original core of the zoo was built 1933–1940 by the Public Works Administration, Civilian Conservation Corps, and Works Progress Administration and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Pueblo City Park Zoo.

The Coronado Lodge, at 2130 Lake Ave. in Pueblo, Colorado, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.It was built "ca. 1940-41 by Ralph and Anna Ferris, the Coronado Lodge was part of a national boom in motel construction between 1940 and 1960 that reflected the nation’s growing automobile-based mobility and increased disposable income for leisure travel in the years following World War II. The Coronado Lodge is important for many reasons, most strikingly for its association with the history of African American travel and tourism during the era of segregation."It was deemed "an excellent example of Pueblo Revival-style mid-century motel architecture. The Pueblo Revival style produced an eye-catching appearance that appealed to travelers by evoking the history and romance of the Southwest. The style is particularly appropriate for Pueblo, which historically has had a large Hispano population with ties to New Mexico. The Coronado Lodge displays several distinguishing characteristics of the Pueblo Revival style including stepped massing, flat roofs with parapets, stuccoed adobe and concrete block walls, projecting vigas, portales with corbelled brackets, and flat-headed windows.""The Coronado Lodge is also significant for its association with the history of African American travel and tourism during the era of segregation. The motel offered accommodations to African American travelers since at least 1946 and advertised from 1957 to 1967 in The Negro Travelers’ Green Book, publication historian Gretchen Sullivan Sorin described as “the bible of every Negro highway traveler in the 1950s and early 1960s.” Most Colorado Green Book lodging facilities were small “tourist homes” in existing residences. The Coronado in 1957 became the second Colorado motel to be listed in The Green Book under owners Arthur H. and Hattie L. Copley and remained one of only three motels listed in it through 1967. The Pueblo City Park Carousel is a historic carousel in Pueblo, Colorado, United States. Built in 1911, it is a Parker #72 /Stein & Goldstein carousel. Its horses are believed to have been carved circa 1907. In 1983, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and it is currently owned by Pueblo City Park.

Pueblo City Park is a park established in 1904 in Pueblo, Colorado. It is managed by the Pueblo Department of Parks and Recreation. When the park first opened in 1904, the Pueblo Star-Journal published a full-page description of the park under the headline "City Park, Soon To Be Opened To The Public, Will Have The Handsomest Gates In The West."

Pueblo Community College (PCC) is a public community college in Pueblo, Colorado.

The Orman-Adams House, at 102 W. Orman Ave. in Pueblo, Colorado, was built in 1890. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.It was designed by architect William A. Lang and built by contractors Blackwell & Genest.It was deemed "an excellent example of Romanesque Revival" architecture, in particular of Richardsonian Romanesque. Its significance, however, derives not from its architecture but from its association with its residents, who included Colorado governors James B. Orman and Alva B. Adams. Orman was the original owner and had the house built in 1890; he lived there from 1891 to 1918. He served as governor of the state from 1901 to 1903. In 1918, Adams and family moved in. Adams served as governor during three periods: from 1887 to 1889, from 1897 to 1899, and for one day in March, 1905. He died in 1922. His son Alva B. Adams lived in the house from 1918 until his death in 1941, and served as U.S. Senator for the state from 1922 to 1924, and then again from 1932 to his death.The house continued in use as a private residence until 1952, when it became an administrative office building of the local public school district. It was still serving in that capacity when it was listed in 1975. It has also been known as School Administration Building.The house is one of a number of large stately homes in the South Pueblo neighborhood.

Bessemer, Colorado was a city in Colorado that was incorporated in 1886. The community was named after Henry Bessemer, an English inventor. It was one of four adjacent towns settled after the Colorado Gold Rush of 1859. The communities of South Pueblo, Central Pueblo, Pueblo, and Bessemer were later merged to create the modern City of Pueblo, Colorado. Bessemer was an independent city until 1894 and was the last city to join Pueblo. The former community of Bessemer is sometimes now referred to as the Bessemer neighborhood. Its also known as the Bessemer area. The Bessemer area is home to both Bessemer Academy (an elementary school) and Bessemer park.

The First Congregational Church in Pueblo, Colorado is a Romanesque Revival style church building constructed in 1889. The building designed by Fred A. Hale and constructed in 1889 with Manitou sandstone includes a bell tower. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
