Coquine is a restaurant located in the Mount Tabor neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. The restaurant serves French-inspired food made from ingredients purchased from local farms as well as Stumptown Coffee.

The Jacobs–Wilson House, also known as Tabor Swiss Chalet, is a Swiss Chalet-style house in Portland, Oregon that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.Built in 1913, it is a two-and-a-half-story wood-frame house built on a native stone foundation. It was the first house built on Thorburn Avenue, on the west slope of Mt. Tabor, in an area which eventually developed into a fine residential neighborhood. It has an expansive view across the valley of the Willamette River to Portland's west hills. The house is said to have been built to plans from Switzerland, and to have met a request of Bolina Jacobs to her son Frederick Alva Jacobs.

The property was deemed significant for its architecture, for its landscape architecture, and for its association with the life of Dr. W. B. Holden (1873–1955). The house was designed by architect Roscoe Hememway. The landscape architecture was designed by John Alexander Grant. The property included a rose garden.The listing for the William B. Holden House was for a .75-acre (0.30 ha) property located at 6347 Southeast Yamhill, that consisted of the entire tax lot of Lot I, Belmont Villa, Portland, Oregon.: 32 In 2016, the National Register recorded a boundary decrease listing with address 6353 SE Yamhill, with property name William R. Holden House. This appears to indicate that the 6347 property has been split, and the original .75 acre property is no longer intact. Further the middle initial appears to indicate a typo; the listing would have made sense as a boundary decrease to the William B. Holden House listing.

The Thomas Graham Building, 6031 Southeast Stark Street, Portland, in the U.S. state of Oregon, is a two-story commercial building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1910, it was added to the register in 1992.The wood-frame structure, supported by a concrete foundation and including a full basement, houses a business on the first floor and a domestic apartment on the second floor. Architectural features include a recessed storefront facing a colonnade of fluted wood columns, a double-leaf front door, and plate-glass display windows. Constructed by George Foreman for druggist Thomas Graham, the building preserves a form of commercial architecture typical of the city's neighborhood business districts around 1900. The building was named a Portland Historic Landmark in 1981.Graham, who operated a drugstore in the building for many years, was born in Ontario, Canada, and moved to Portland in 1891. At that time, the Mount Tabor neighborhood, where the building is located, was slowly changing from rural to residential. Minor commercial hubs in the vicinity generally featured small wooden buildings with recessed storefronts facing streetcar lines. The Graham Building is one of only four such buildings that remain intact in central southeast Portland. The building is currently occupied by Bellwether Bar, a neighborhood bar.

A bronze sculpture of American pioneer, newspaper editor and historian Harvey W. Scott (1838–1910) by Gutzon Borglum, sometimes called Harvey Scott or Harvey W. Scott, was installed on Mount Tabor in Portland, Oregon, United States, until being toppled in October 2020. Modeled in 1930 and sculpted in 1933, the statue is among Borglum's final works and was donated by Scott's family. The memorial's dedication ceremony was attended by 3,000 people, including Governor Julius Meier, Portland mayor Joseph K. Carson, and Chester Harvey Rowell, as well as members of Scott's family, who created a maintenance fund during the 1940s. The statue has been administered by the City of Portland's Bureau of Parks and Recreation, and later the City of Portland and Multnomah County Public Art Collection courtesy of the Regional Arts & Culture Council. The sculpture has been vandalized multiple times and has been featured in many Portland guides as a feature of Mount Tabor.

A 4 foot (1.2 m) bust of York, the only African American on the Lewis and Clark Expedition, was installed in Portland, Oregon's Mount Tabor Park, in the United States, from February to July 2021. The artist stayed anonymous at first, but after the bust was removed he revealed himself as Todd McGrain. McGrain was a student of Darrell Millner, Portland State University professor of history and Black Studies. The bust appeared on February 20, replacing the statue of Harvey W. Scott, which had been toppled on October 20, 2020. McGrain did not seek city permission to install the bust, which McGrain expected to be temporary; on June 11 the city announced that it would remove the bust.On July 28, vandals tore down and seriously damaged the sculpture. Portland Parks and Recreation removed it, and the Portland City Council released a statement condemning the vandalism. The paper was torn into pieces. No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but Patriot Front, a white supremacist organization that had recently vandalized numerous monuments to African Americans was suspected. On July 25, three days earlier, the plinth had been defaced with a symbol associated with Patriot Front, and a mural in Portland honoring George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery had been defaced with their name.After the toppling, signs of support for the bust and other tributes appeared at the site.The artist has offered to produce a bust of York in bronze, with no charge for his time and effort, although the casting would have to be paid for. As of September 4, 2021, no decision has been made regarding this offer.

The Portland Sanitarium Nurses' Quarters, located at 6012 Southeast Yamhill Street in southeast Portland, Oregon, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The back portion of the building was built in 1928 and is a neoclassical brick style; the 4-story front portion was built in 1946 in an International style. It was designed by Claussen and ClaussenThe building housed nurses for the former, adjacent, Portland Adventist Sanitarium. The Sanitarium was founded in ca. 1895 when Seventh Day Adventist rented an eight-bedroom mansion from Simeon Reed, turning it into the six-patient sanitarium. By 1897 the facility was owned by the Seventh Day Adventist Church, who founded the vegetarian Portland Sanitarium Food Company, a branch of the Battle Creek Sanitarium Food Company. A vegetarian restaurant also opened on the site.Until it was closed for construction, the Nurses' Quarters building held the Institute for International Christian Communication's WorldView Center, a missionary training program. The program split in 2018, with the training center being renamed to CultureBound. The building was sold then.The building went through land use review/rezoning in 2014 to be turned into 75 micro-apartments. The construction also included seismic retrofits. It will be called "Tabor Commons Apartments" when it reopens in ca. 2020.

The Fred A., May, and Anne Shogren House is a historic residence in Portland, Oregon, United States. For nearly 30 years, sisters May (1861–1928) and Anne (1868–1934) Shogren were the premier dressmakers and arbiters of women's fashion to the wealthy elite in Portland. They were also successful businesswomen, employing 50 to 100 seamstresses and producing enough surplus to invest in real estate. The sisters lived in this c. 1906 Craftsman house, originally built for their brother Fred, from 1912, through retirement in 1918, and until their deaths. While their shop in downtown Portland is no longer extant, this house serves as the most important remaining site related to their prominent careers. One of their investment properties, The Shogren Building, still exists and is manged by Anne and May's great nephew Andy Munson. The Oregon Historical Society holds their business records and several of their dresses, gowns, and riding habits in its collections.The house was entered on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
