Kanata Town Centre

Katimavik-Hazeldean is a neighbourhood in Kanata South Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the former City of Kanata which amalgamated into Ottawa in 2001. It is located in south-central Kanata, bounded by Eagleson Road to the east, Hazeldean Road to the south, the Carp River to the west, and Highway 417 to the north.According to the Canada 2011 Census, the total population of the neighbourhood was 12,088.

Earl of March Secondary School is an Ottawa-Carleton District School Board secondary school in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located in suburban Kanata in the Beaverbrook neighbourhood near the Ottawa Public Library Beaverbrook Branch and the John G. Mlacak Centre. The school also serves the neighbourhoods of Kanata Lakes, Beaverbrook, Katimavik-Hazeldean, Richardson Ridge, and Morgan's Grant.

Terry Fox station is a bus stop on Ottawa, Ontario, Canada's transitway served by OC Transpo buses and named after cancer research activist Terry Fox. It is located in the western transitway section and is the main western terminal of routes 61 and 62 for all trips not extended to/from Stittsville. It is located adjacent the Kanata Centrum shopping centre at Kanata Avenue and Earl Grey Drive, just east of the Highway 417 exit at Terry Fox Drive. The station entered service in September 2004 with construction still having been underway at that time; it officially opened on February 22, 2005. Before the station's construction, a small terminal was located at Kanata Town Centre, located south of Highway 417 on Katimavik Road. The station was needed as the Kanata Centrum was getting more and more popular, while the Kanata Town Centre was desolate for several years. Previously, service to Centrum was very limited, but the construction of the Castlefrank Road/Kanata Avenue interchange and Valour Bridge overpass over Highway 417 have permitted for several bus routes to serve the Centrum. The station also contains a Park & Ride facility to supplement the often-full Eagleson station. As of April 23, 2017, route 96 is renumbered and re-branded as Rapid Route 61, and similarly route 92 is Rapid Route 62. Both operate with their respective previous routings (route 61 on Hazeldean, Castlefrank, and Katimavik; route 62 on Huntmar, Palladium, and Campeau) to/from downtown and St-Laurent. Route 118 is also being re-numbered to route 88 at this time, also with no change in routing.

Teron is an OC Transpo Transitway Station in Ottawa, Ontario. The station is located in the suburb of Kanata on Campeau Drive just east of the intersection with Teron Road from which it takes its name, which in turn was named after William Teron, who was responsible for developing Kanata. It is near the western off-ramp of Highway 417 at March Road and an overpass north of Eagleson Station and Park and Ride. Teron was officially included in the Transitway system in the 2007 fall schedules. The main purpose of the new Transitway facility according to OC Transpo's Transplan program as the result of public consultation process on transit improvement was to improve connections between local routes in Kanata North and routes 63 and 64, which travel to the Kanata North Business Park from Lebreton Station and Lincoln Fields Station. Other routes, such as route 62, route 164 (serving Hope Side Road), and route 168 (serving Beaverbrook and Bridlewood serve Teron Station, and routes 62, 164, and 168 all provide a connection to Kanata Centrum at Terry Fox Station from routes 63 and 64 in Kanata North.Additionally, Teron will be part of a future extension of the Western Segment of the Transitway. According to the Ottawa Transportation Master Plan, the segment from Eagleson Road to Terry Fox Drive is scheduled to be completed by 2031.

Eagleson is a station on Ottawa, Ontario's transitway served by OC Transpo buses. It is located in the western transitway section at Eagleson Road and Highway 417. Eastbound buses enter the station; westbound buses remain on Eagleson and service is from an adjacent bus stop.The station also has a large park and ride facility, which was named after a former City of Kanata councillor, Eva James, who died in December, 1995, shortly after its official opening. A second parking section was later added west of Eagleson Road.

Beaverbrook is a suburban neighbourhood in Kanata North Ward in the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located within the former city of Kanata. Beaverbrook is known for its hedged houses and community facilities. The neighbourhood is bounded by the Kanata North Business Park to the north, March Road to the east, Campeau Drive to the south and Knudson Avenue & Weslock Way to the west. According to the Canada 2011 Census, the total population of the neighbourhood was 5,182.

Kanata Theatre (informally known as KT) is a community theatre organization, operates the Ron Maslin Playhouse, a 350-seat theatre located in the Kanata district of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It was opened in May 1996 by Merle Nicholds, then the mayor of Kanata, and Marianne Wilkinson. The Building was designed by Peter Smith, who also designed the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto. They stage 6 plays a year including and annual family musical.

The Bell Sensplex is a four-pad ice facility, located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is the primary practice facility of the Ottawa Senators NHL team. In a partnership with the city of Ottawa, it is also used for minor hockey and hosts the annual Bell Capital Cup ice hockey tournament. The Sensplex is located at 1565 Maple Grove Road in the former city of Kanata. It was also the home arena for the Ottawa Lady Senators of the Canadian Women's Hockey League.

Hazeldean Mall is a shopping centre located in the Kanata district of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located at the intersection of Eagleson Road and Hazeldean Road, where Hazeldean Road turns into Robertson Road. It was the first enclosed shopping centre constructed in Kanata. The development of the mall was approved shortly before the incorporation of the (then) City of Kanata, and its approval led to a legal battle between the constituent parts of the new municipality over the appropriate location of what would at that time be the new city's main commercial hub.

Kanata (, kə-NAT-ə) is a suburban district in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located about 22 km (14 mi) west of the city's downtown core. As of 2021, Kanata had an urban population of 137,118. Before it was amalgamated into Ottawa in 2001, it was one of the fastest-growing cities in Canada and the fastest-growing community in Eastern Ontario. Located just to the west of the National Capital Commission Greenbelt, it is one of the largest of several communities that surround central Ottawa.

Kanata North Ward or Ward 4 (French: Quartier Kanata-Nord) is a ward in the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The ward was created in 2006 when its predecessor, Kanata Ward, split in two main parts. The original Kanata Ward covered all of the former City of Kanata. The new Kanata North Ward also includes a small part taken from West Carleton Ward (near Palladium Drive) Its represented on Ottawa City Council by Cathy Curry. She was appointed on November 20, 2021, replacing Jenna Sudds who was elected to Parliament in the 2021 Canadian federal election. Communities in the ward include South March, Morgan's Grant, Kanata Lakes, Marchwood, Beaverbrook and Town Centre. Following the 2020 Ottawa Ward boundary review, the ward will gain a small piece of territory in the South March area to accommodate a proposed housing development.Prior to its amalgamation into Ottawa, the City of Kanata had its own Kanata North Ward. It consisted of the city north of the Queensway.

Georges Vanier Catholic School is an elementary school in the community of Beaverbrook, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. (Next door is the W. Erskine Johnston Public School.) It has classes from junior kindergarten to grade 6. The school is in the Zone 2 (Kanata) school board district of the Ottawa Catholic School Board.
