Greenport Village Historic District

Greenport is a village in New York's Suffolk County, on the North Fork of Long Island. It is located within the Town of Southold and is the only incorporated community in the town. The population was 2,197 at the 2010 census.Greenport was a major port for its area, having developed a strong fishing and whaling industry in the past, although currently there are only a handful of commercial fishing vessels operating out of the village. More recently the tourism industry has grown substantially.

WSUF (89.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to Noyack, New York and serves the eastern Long Island and southeastern Connecticut areas. It is owned by Sacred Heart University. It broadcasts a news/talk radio and classical music format that includes programming from NPR, Public Radio International, and American Public Media. For most of the time, it acts as a full satellite of WSHU, though on Sunday mornings and afternoons it simulcasts WSHU-FM's classical programming. The station was assigned the WSUF call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on October 1, 1993.

Brecknock Hall is a historic home located at Stirling in Suffolk County, New York. It was built in 1857 and is a 2+1⁄2-story, square cut ashlar stone residence in the Italianate style. The central projecting gable has a one-room sized cupola centrally located on the roof. Also on the property is a 19th-century barn, a small early 20th-century greenhouse, and an early 20th-century caretaker's house.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Shelter Island Heights Historic District is a national historic district located at Shelter Island Heights in Suffolk County, New York. There are 141 contributing buildings and one contributing structure.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Union Chapel is a historic Methodist chapel located in Shelter Island Heights, Suffolk County, New York. It was built in 1875 and is a wood-frame structure with wood-shingle sheathing. The chapel's main three-bay facade has a 2+1⁄2-story bell tower with a double-door center entrance at its base; a small porch shelters the entry. It is the most important extant structure associated with the Shelter Island Heights Grove and Camp Meeting Association, a Methodist camp established in 1872.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Dering Harbor is a village in the Town of Shelter Island, in Suffolk County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the village population was 50, making it the least populous village in the State of New York. The Incorporated Village of Dering Harbor is located on the northern side of Shelter Island, east of the hamlet of Shelter Island Heights.

Shelter Island Country Club is a historic country club located at Shelter Island in Suffolk County, New York. The club was established in 1901 and consists of a nine-hole golf course, club house, driving range, and maintenance facility. The club house is a two-story Colonial Revival-style wood-frame building with a side-gabled gambrel roof with five dormer windows on both the east and west elevations. It features a full-length front porch on the east and north sides.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Shelter Island Heights is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located in the Town of Shelter Island, in Suffolk County, New York, United States. It is located on the north side of Shelter Island, surrounding the village of Dering Harbor. The population was 1,601 at the time of the 2020 census.
