La Boisse

Côtière or Côtière de l'Ain is a natural region located southwest of the department of Ain, France. It is along a slope of about forty kilometers, beginning with the balcony of Croix-Rousse and ending in Meximieux. The main cities are Miribel, Montluel and Meximieux. Pérouges is member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France.

Montluel (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃lɥɛl] ; Arpitan: Montluèl) is a commune in the Ain department in eastern France. It is situated on the outskirts of Lyon. The inhabitants are known as Montluistes.

Montluel station (French: Gare de Montluel) is a French railway station located in the commune of Montluel, Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Established at an elevation of 198 meters, the station is located at kilometric point (KP) 25.195 on the Lyon–Geneva railway, between the stations of La Boisse and La Valbonne. As of 2022, the station is owned and operated by the SNCF and served by TER Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes trains.

The commune is approximately 15 km from Lyon, and part of the unité urbaine de Lyon. Historically, Beynost is also part of the naturally forming region of Côtière. Beynost station has rail connections to Lyon, Ambérieu-en-Bugey and Chambéry.

Jons (French pronunciation: [ʒɔ̃]) is a commune in the Rhône department in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in eastern France. Since 2008, Claude Villard has been the mayor of Jons. He was re-elected in the 2020 municipal elections.
