Robinson Barracks is a military base of U.S. in the Burgholzhof community in the northern Stuttgart district of Bad Cannstatt. Unlike Patch Barracks and Kelley Barracks, also located in Stuttgart, the modern Robinson Barracks is now largely a residential neighborhood for US Department of Defense personnel stationed in the greater Stuttgart area operated and administered by IMCOM-Europe. The installation is named after 1st Lt. James E. Robinson, Jr. (1918–1945), an Army officer posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor during World War II.

The Robert-Bosch-Hospital (RBK) is a charitable hospital in Stuttgart, Germany, which was founded by Robert Bosch in 1936. Robert Bosch fulfilled a long-cherished wish in 1936 on the occasion of his 75th birthday and the 50th jubilee of his company: he donated a hospital to the city of Stuttgart. The Original hospital with its 360 beds opened in April 1940 and was replaced by a new building at a near-by location in 1973. The hospital is supported by the Robert Bosch Stiftung (Robert Bosch Foundation). The Foundation and the managing board of the Hospital determine the strategic development of the medical, therapeutic and nursing care. The Foundation enables medical research and funds necessary investments which are not met from other sources. Since 1978, the Robert-Bosch-Hospital has been part of the teaching hospital of the University of Tübingen. The Robert-Bosch-Hospital, including Schillerhöhe and gynaecological hospital Charlottenhaus since January, 2006, disposes of more than 771 beds for acute care, 100 beds for geriatric rehabilitation, including 20 therapy places in day hospital, and 15 therapy places in the psychosomatic day hospital. The Robert-Bosch-Hospital admits approximately 32,000 in-patients a year. The centres for internal, operational and diagnostic medicine are part of the hospital as well as a centre for pneumology and thorax surgery. Besides research institutes in clinical pharmacology and history of medicine, other institutions such as an interdisciplinary centre of tumour therapy, a breast centre, a school of nursing and centres for further education are associated with the hospital. The Rems-Murr-hospitals and the Furtbach-hospital are co-operative partners of the Robert-Bosch-Hospital.

Schnarrenberg (Stuttgart) is a mountain of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The Schnarrenberg is a hill ridge in the north of Stuttgart in the quarters of Münster and Zuffenhausen. The majority is on the territory of Münster. At its highest point (316 m above sea level (NN)) is the Stuttgart Weather Office, a branch of the German Weather Service. Its slopes are covered by vineyards.

The State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart (German: Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde Stuttgart), abbreviated SMNS, is one of the two state of Baden-Württemberg's natural history museums. Together with the State Museum of Natural History Karlsruhe (Staatliches Museum für Naturkunde Karlsruhe) it is one of the most important repositories for state-owned natural history collections. Exhibitions are shown in two buildings, both situated in the Rosenstein park in Stuttgart: the Löwentor Museum (German: Museum am Löwentor) houses the paleontology and geology exhibitions. At the same time, the Museum Rosenstein in Rosenstein Palace focuses on biology and natural history. Every year, the SMNS is visited by about 110,000 people.

Wilhelma (German: [vɪlˈhɛlma] ) is a zoological-botanical garden in Stuttgart in the Bad Cannstatt district in the north of the city on the grounds of a historic castle. Wilhelma Zoo is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Baden-Württemberg, seeing more than 2 million visitors annually.The Zoo and Botanical Garden have been staffed since 1846. The Moorish Revival style echoing the Alhambra have been maintained and supplemented since 1960. Today, the zoo has an area of about 30 hectares (0.30 km2), houses around 11,500 animals from around the world composed of roughly 1,200 species and roughly 6000 plants from all climates. Of Germany's zoos, Wilhelma's collection ranks second to the Berlin Zoological Garden. In addition to the public garden, Wilhelma also has a branch office located in Fellbach, where the zoo keeps its stallions.Wilhelma receives gorilla juveniles rejected by their mother and reared by the zookeepers. At age 2-3, the gorillas are sent back to their original zoo(s).

The Rosenstein Park (German: Rosensteinpark) in Stuttgart is the largest English garden in southwest Germany. Its creation took place from 1824 to 1840 on the orders of King William I of Württemberg after plans of his gardener Johann Bosch on the former Kahlenstein area. From 1817 to 1818 King William I had purchased all land on the Kahlenstein from the citizens of Cannstatt. In the middle of the park the Rosenstein Palace was built from 1822 to 1830. The Wilhelma zoo and the State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart are also located in the park. The Löwentor (Lion's Gate) at the upper park entrance was built by Giovanni Salucci. The Rosenstein Tunnel is a railway tunnel beneath the park. Today the park is owned by the State of Baden-Württemberg and preserved as a historical monument. In conjunction with the Schlossgarten, the Leibfried Garden, the Wartberg and the Killesbergpark it forms Stuttgart's „Green U“. Because of the ban on hunting within the park it boasts 98.9 hares per 100 ha, the highest concentration of hares in Germany.

Wallace Barracks is a former German and U.S. Army installation in the Bad Cannstatt district of Stuttgart, Germany. It is located just below the Burgholzhof, near Robinson Barracks and the former Grenadier Kaserne on the site of a former Roman military camp commonly referred to in literature as Kastell Cannstatt (Citadel Cannstatt).

The Prag Tunnel is a railway tunnel in the German city of Stuttgart under the Prag, a ridge between the Stuttgart basin and Feuerbach. The two 680 metre-long bores of the tunnel connect Stuttgart North station with Feuerbach station. Trains from Stuttgart run through the tunnel towards Karlsruhe, Mannheim and Heilbronn on the Franconia Railway and the Mannheim–Stuttgart high-speed railway and towards Ludwigsburg and Leonberg on the Stuttgart S-Bahn. The tunnel runs in layers of Gipskeuper rock, containing anhydrite, which swell strongly when in contact with water. The track centres in the two tubes are 3.70 and 4.00 m apart.

The Rosenstein tunnel (German: Rosensteintunnel) is the name of several past, present and planned tunnels in the Stuttgart metropolitan area, in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. Today it is a railway tunnel under Rosenstein Park to Bad Cannstatt. It now connects the Fils Valley Railway (Filstalbahn) from Stuttgart Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) to the Rosenstein Bridge over the Neckar to Bad Cannstatt station.
