San Antonio International Airport (IATA: SAT, ICAO: KSAT, FAA LID: SAT) is an international airport in San Antonio, Texas. It is in Uptown Central San Antonio, about 8 miles north of Downtown. It has three runways and covers 2,305 acres (933 ha). Its elevation is 809 feet (247 m) above sea level. SAT averages 260 daily departures and arrivals at its 24 gates, which serve 12 airlines flying non-stop to 53 destinations in the US and Mexico.

Douglas MacArthur High School (commonly MacArthur or Mac) is a public secondary school on the northeast side of San Antonio, Texas, United States. The school, a part of the North East Independent School District serves students in ninth grade through twelfth grade, with admission based primarily on the locations of students' homes. The school serves portions of San Antonio and the portion of Terrell Hills within NEISD.

Comalander Stadium is an 11,000-seat, open style football and soccer stadium in San Antonio, Texas. Built as North East Stadium in 1962, it was renamed to Comalander Stadium in 2000, for long time district athletic director Jerry Comalander. As a part of the Blossom Athletic Center, it is owned and operated by the North East Independent School District. Along with Heroes Stadium, the stadium is the home venue for the football, track and field, and band events for the high schools and middle schools in the district. Also, the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps host their spring training here annually in May and June. The playing surface was upgraded in 1998.

The Virgil T. Blossom Athletic Center is a multi-sport athletic complex owned by the North East ISD located in San Antonio, Texas. Best known for Comalander Stadium, a 10,952-seat football stadium, the center is also home to facilities for a number of other sports. The Josh Davis Natatorium, named for the former olympic swimmer, is a state-of-the-art, 1500-seat swimming facility. The Jimmy Littleton Gymnasium is a 5000-seat basketball, volleyball and wrestling facility. Additionally, there is an 18-court tennis center, two soccer fields, a baseball stadium, and track and field facilities.

The Fence at Alamo Cement Company is a Faux Bois sculpture by artist Dionicio Rodriguez. The sculpture is a 125-foot-long concrete faux wood fence laid out in approximately a “C” shape and features an elaborate entrance way formed by two sculpted tree trunks. The sculpture was posted to the National Register of Historic Places on August 9, 2005.

The Alamo Quarry Market is a lifestyle center located in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of north central San Antonio in the U.S. state of Texas, near the cities of Alamo Heights and Terrell Hills. It once functioned as a cement plant until it was abandoned. Since then it has been redeveloped into a thriving market with a Regal Cinema theater dominating the oldest building and is surrounded by other businesses including bookstores and many restaurants. The Quarry still maintains the facade of the cement factory and its most notable feature and landmark is the four historical smokestacks that can be seen several miles from the Quarry. In 1998, Tramell Crow brought in structural restoration and preservation specialist Delta Structural Technology, Inc. to restore and preserve three of the four stacks. The structures are approximately 204 feet (62 m) high, 18 feet (5.5 m) diameter at the base, and 15 feet (4.6 m) diameter at the top. These smokestacks had previously been retrofitted with steel bands every 20 feet (6.1 m) from top to bottom, which had either rusted and fallen off or had relaxed providing little, if any structural confinement. The structural contractor utilized an exclusive retrofit technique which involved complete encapsulation of three of the four stacks using high performance structural composites saturated in an epoxy matrix. The installation took less than two months, and received multiple awards within the historical preservation and concrete construction industry.Another popular feature of the Quarry is the many life-sized, brightly colored cow statues from the Cow Parade that are scattered throughout the market place. Stores at Alamo Quarry Market include Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft, Old Navy, a two-story Nordstrom Rack, Whole Foods Market, Michael's, Pottery Barn, Office Max, Restoration Hardware, Whole Earth Provision Co., and many more. Restaurants include California Pizza Kitchen, Starbucks, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Joe's Crab Shack, Chili's, Piatti, ZEDRIC'S, Orange Cup, Freddie's, and J. Alexander's. The Quarry Village, a mixed-used development, is located across from the Alamo Quarry Market, and is much more dense and urban in design when compared to the Market. Its tenants include Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Trader Joe's, Five Guys and more.

North Star Mall is a shopping mall in San Antonio, Texas, USA with anchor tenants Dillard's, JCPenney, Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Forever 21. The mall also has over 200 specialty stores, some exclusive to the San Antonio market, including Armani Exchange, The Cheesecake Factory, Build-A-Bear Workshop, MAC Cosmetics, and Oakley. The mall, which opened in 1960, is located at the intersection of Loop 410 and San Pedro Avenue in the city's Uptown District. It is a well-known city landmark for its Texas-sized cowboy boots, created by Texas artist Bob "Daddy-O" Wade, that are located along its Loop 410 frontage.

Alamo Heights is an incorporated city that is surrounded by the city of San Antonio in Bexar County in the U.S. state of Texas. At the time of the 2010 census, the population of Alamo Heights was 7,031. It is part of the Greater San Antonio metropolitan area. A portion of the University of the Incarnate Word is in Alamo Heights. Alamo Heights is about 5 miles (8 km) north of downtown San Antonio, the urban core of the seventh-largest city in America, and is almost completely surrounded by the city of San Antonio.
