Toad Hall (ANU)

Australian National University Football Club (more commonly known as ANU FC) is an Australian amateur association football club representing the Australian National University based in Acton, Australian Capital Territory. Founded in 1962, the club is inclusive of both current and graduated students and currently competes in the ACT National Premier Leagues 2.

The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is an agency of the Australian Government tasked with improving the accessibility and availability of government services online by helping government "transform services to be simple, clear and fast." Succeeding the Digital Transformation Office, the DTA was established on 14 October 2016.The agency has the stated goal of overseeing the "Digital Transformation Strategy" for the Australian Government to become "one of the leading digital governments in the world by 2025". Generally the agency oversees various interdepartmental government projects and provides consultancy and products to other official bodies.

Canberra University College was a tertiary education institution established in Canberra by the Australian government and the University of Melbourne in 1930. At first it operated in the Telopea Park School premises after hours. Most of the initial students were public servants and all were part-timers. After WWII funding for the college was increased significantly.The college operated until 1960 when it was incorporated into the Australian National University as the School of General Studies. Over the course of its operation it had two directors, Sir Robert Garran from 1930 to 1953 and Bertram Thomas Dickson from 1954 to 1960. It was staffed by many notable academics including economist Heinz Wolfgang Arndt, philosopher Kurt Baier, poet Leslie Allen, historian Manning Clark and botanist Lindsay Pryor.

The Australian National Dictionary Centre (ANDC) at the Australian National University in Canberra is a major centre for lexicographical research in Australia. It is jointly funded by the Australian National University and Oxford University Press Australia and New Zealand. The Centre conducts research into Australian English and provides Oxford University Press with editorial expertise for its Australian dictionaries.

The Australian National University (ANU) is a public research university and member of the Group of Eight, located in Canberra, the capital of Australia. The university's endowment stood at A$1.8 billion as of 2018.ANU counts six Nobel laureates and 49 Rhodes scholars among its faculty and alumni. The university has educated two prime ministers and more than a dozen current heads of government departments of Australia. Comcare is a statutory authority of the Australian Federal Government established under the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act) and covered by the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act). Comcare administers the Commonwealth's workers' compensation scheme under the SRC Act; and the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (WHS Act). The department is headquartered in Canberra, and has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Newcastle, Darwin and Launceston. Comcare also provides secretariat, policy and legislative support to Seacare - the Seafarers' Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Authority - in administering the Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1992, the Occupational Health and Safety (Maritime Industry) Act 1993, the Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation Levy Act 1992, and the Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation Levy Collection Act 1992. Comcare provides advice to the Minister for Industrial Relations on issues relating to the administration of the Commonwealth's work health and safety and workers' compensation frameworks. Comcare works with employees and other workers, employers, service providers and other organisations to: minimise the impact of harm in the workplaceimprove recovery at work and return to workpromote the health benefits of good work™

The Australian National University Library is part of the Australian National University in Canberra, one of the world's major research universities.

William Francis Roy (9 December 1924 – 23 March 1991) was an Australian whistleblower who worked as the Principal Technical Officer at Telecom Tower, and alleged the existence of a secret surveillance center in the tower in an unaired 1991 interview with Jana Wendt. He later died in hospital following a suspicious bicycle crash. Roy began his career as part of the Royal Australian Air Force during World War II, enlisting shortly after his 18th birthday in 1943. Following his discharge in 1946, Roy became a staunch communist,: p. 67  and activist: p. 15  gaining him the attention of ASIO. By the time he died they had collected a 36-page report on him. He later joined the Australian Labor Party in a tactical move to gain a promotion.

The ANU School of Music is a school in the Research School of Humanities and the Arts, which forms part of the College of Arts and Social Sciences of the Australian National University. It consists of four buildings, including the main School of Music building – which contains Llewellyn Hall – and the Peter Karmel Building. The School of Music's teaching encompasses performance tuition, alongside musicianship, musicology, sound recording, and ethnomusicology.

In November 1993 an event known as the "Jolimont Centre siege" took place resulting in the serious wounding of one person and the death of another over the course of two hours. The centre was set on fire and extensive damage was caused by a lone gunman.The Jolimont Centre, located in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, was the home of the Department of Industrial Relations and radio station 2CA.

The Magistrates Court of the Australian Capital Territory is a court of summary jurisdiction that deals with the majority of criminal law matters and the majority of small civil law matters in the Australian Capital Territory, the Jervis Bay Territory and the Australian Antarctic Territory.The current Chief Magistrate is Lorraine Walker, appointed with effect from 13 October 2011. However, Magistrate Glenn Theakston has been appointed Acting Chief Magistrate due to Walker's 12-month appointment as an Acting Judge of the Supreme Court. Currently eight magistrates and one special magistrate assist the Chief Magistrate in hearing matters before the Court.The court is located on Knowles Place near London Circuit at Civic, in Canberra, in the ACT Law Courts building that it shares with the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory opened in 2019.
