Tunis Carthage University (Arabic: جامعة تونس قرطاج), also known as UTC, is a private university in La Soukra, a residential suburb near Tunis, Tunisia. Founded in 1993, it is one of the oldest private institutions of higher education in Tunisia. All degrees awarded by UTC are recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and internationally.

The British International School of Tunis (commonly abbreviated to BIST) is a private school in La Soukra, Ariana Governorate, Tunisia that provides elementary and secondary education. It enrolls about 250 students, aged 3 to 18, from Key Stage 1 to 5. The new sixth form opened in September 2020. The school is accredited by COBIS, has a membership to IAPS & is inspected under the ISI framework.

Chotrana (Arabic: شطرانة), is a Tunisian village dependent on the municipality of La Soukra, in the governorate of Arianah.

The American Cooperative School of Tunis or ACST (Arabic: المدرسة التعاونية الأمريكية بتونس) is a comprehensive American, international, non-profit, private school located in El Aouina, Tunisia The school enrolls more than 450 students in grades Pre-school-12. The school is widely known for its International Baccalaureate Diploma Program which it has used since 2000. It is currently the only IB World School in Tunisia.

Tunis–Carthage International Airport, Arabic: مطار تونس قرطاج الدولي, IATA: TUN, ICAO: DTTA) is the international airport of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. It serves as the home base for Tunisair, Tunisair Express, Nouvelair Tunisia, and Tunisavia. The airport is named for the historic city of Carthage, located just east of the airport.

The Archaeological Site of Carthage is a site dispersed in the current city of Carthage (Tunisia) and classified as part of the World Heritage by UNESCO since 1979. It is dominated by the hill of Byrsa, which was the center of the Punic city. Today, it is distinguished by the massive silhouette of the Acropolium, built at the end of the 19th century on the presumed site of the tomb of King Louis IX (Saint Louis), who died there during the Eighth Crusade. Near the cathedral, opposite this empty tomb whose remains were repatriated to France, are the remains of the most important quarter of the city. Only a few foundations and some fragments of columns remain, but one can gauge the power that emanated from the city at that time: immense dimensions, large spaces, panoramic views, and the organization of the streets. The rapid development of the modern city, risking the destruction of the remains forever, led prominent Tunisian archaeologists to alert public opinion, and UNESCO launched a vast international campaign between 1972 and 1992 to save Carthage. This turning point was completed with its classification as a World Heritage Site. This article will only address the current state of the archaeological site, a large number of elements having been lost in ancient or more recent times. The difficulty for visitors now lies in the extreme dispersion of the remains, even though some clusters can be distinguished. For the city and the country, the challenge is more complex: to protect the testimonies of the past while minimizing disruption to the daily life of the population.

Mediterranean School of Business is a private for-profit business school in Les Berges du Lac, Tunisia. It is part of South Mediterranean University. MSB is the first business school in the French-speaking Tunisia with programs and activities organized in English. It was legally established in 2004 as a private institution under the Tunisian laws regulating the organisation and functioning of private schools. Its founder and president is Mahmoud Triki and its actual dean is Leila Triki. Its Executive MBA Program is the first and only MBA Program in Tunisia accredited by the London-based Association of MBAs (AMBA). Gammarth (Tunisian Arabic: ڨمرت gāmmart) is a town on the Mediterranean Sea in the Tunis Governorate of Tunisia, located some 15 to 20 kilometres north of Tunis, adjacent to La Marsa. It is an upmarket seaside resort, known for its expensive hotels and shops. Gammarth began as a small fishing village but following independence from France it blossomed into a resort from the 1950s. Tourism now provides the backbone to the local economy. Gammarth has many five-star hotels and restaurants and also contains many lavish white villas and coves in the vicinity. Notable villas include Abou Nawas Gammarth and Les Dunes.Excavations at Gammarth Hill have revealed some catacombs and Talmudic inscriptions. These ancient burial chambers are believed to date to Roman times in the 2nd century when nearby Carthage was a thriving Roman city. Gammarth also contains a notable cinema complex.

The Institut Supérieur des Études Technologiques de Charguia (Higher Institute of Technological Studies of Charguia), commonly abbreviated ISET Charguia or ISETch, was created by virtue of Decree no. 2000-981, dated 11 May 2000. It falls under the General Direction of Technogical Studies of the Ministry of Higher Education.It comprises two departments: information technology and business administration.

The Tunis Sports City is an entire sports city currently being constructed in Tunis, Tunisia. The general master plan was designed by the Italian architect Enzo Calabrese and his architecture firm Kei_En. Enzo Calabrese Design Studio SRL. The city that will consist of apartment buildings as well as several sports facilities will be built by the Bukhatir Group at a cost of $5 billion (5.86 billion Dinars). Construction began in 2008, after being approved by the former Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.The site is located in the Lac de Tunis area in the northern suburbs of the city. The entire site is currently an uninhabited green space. The Lac de Tunis area is the major focus for new development and building activity in Tunis, and it has seen an increasing number of multi-national companies setting up offices there. The site is bordered by two roads, the main Rue de Lac on one side and the motorway connecting Tunis with the suburbs on the other. The first part of the project is Cedar, a housing district made up of 11 high-rise apartment buildings, approximately 50 standard villas and grand villas, as well as 13 blocks of low-rise townhouses/apartments which will be called the village. The Tunis Sports City, which will cover an area of 257 hectares, will include several spaces of entertainment activities through academies in various sport disciplines like tennis, golf and swimming. The project also includes sports academies, a 20,000 capacity football stadium, a swimming centre with an Olympic-size swimming pool, a thalassotherapy centre, and an indoors sports services centre.
