The American Cooperative School of Tunis or ACST (Arabic: المدرسة التعاونية الأمريكية بتونس) is a comprehensive American, international, non-profit, private school located in El Aouina, Tunisia The school enrolls more than 450 students in grades Pre-school-12. The school is widely known for its International Baccalaureate Diploma Program which it has used since 2000. It is currently the only IB World School in Tunisia.

Mediterranean School of Business is a private for-profit business school in Les Berges du Lac, Tunisia. It is part of South Mediterranean University. MSB is the first business school in the French-speaking Tunisia with programs and activities organized in English. It was legally established in 2004 as a private institution under the Tunisian laws regulating the organisation and functioning of private schools. Its founder and president is Mahmoud Triki and its actual dean is Leila Triki. Its Executive MBA Program is the first and only MBA Program in Tunisia accredited by the London-based Association of MBAs (AMBA). MSB offers its students exchange opportunities and double-master degrees abroad as it partners with different universities all over the world. International School of Carthage (ISC; French: École Internationale de Carthage, EIC; Arabic: مدرسة قرطاج الدولية) is a private school in Carthage, Tunisia that provides elementary and secondary education.

The Circus of Carthage is a Roman circus in Carthage, in present-day Tunisia. Used for chariot racing, it was modeled on the Circus Maximus in Rome and other circus buildings throughout the Roman Empire. Measuring more than 470 m in length and 30 m in width, it could house up to 45,000 spectators, roughly one third of the Circus Maximus.

The Carthage Amphitheatre was a Roman amphitheatre constructed in the first century CE in the city of Carthage, Tunisia, which was rebuilt by Dictator Julius Caesar and became the capital of Africa Proconsularis. Predation plaguing the archaeological site only exists within the arena itself. The building earned the admiration of travelers, especially during the Middle Ages.

The Battle of Tricamarum took place on December 15, 533 between the armies of the Byzantine Empire, under Belisarius, and the Vandal Kingdom, commanded by King Gelimer, and his brother Tzazon. It followed the Byzantine victory at the Battle of Ad Decimum, and eliminated the power of the Vandals for good, completing the reconquest of North Africa under the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I. The main contemporary source for the battle is Procopius, De Bello Vandalico, which occupies Books III and IV of his magisterial Wars of Justinian.

Carthage ( KAR-thij; Arabic: قرطاج, romanized: Qarṭāj) is a commune in Tunis Governorate, Tunisia. It is named for, and includes in its area, the archaeological site of Carthage. Established in 1919, Carthage is some 15 km to the east-northeast of Tunis, situated between the towns of Sidi Bou Said to the north and Le Kram to the south. It is reached from Tunis by the R23 road via La Goulette, or by the N9 road via Tunis-Carthage Airport. The population as of January 2013 was estimated at 21,277, mostly attracting the more wealthy residents. The Carthage Palace (the Tunisian presidential palace) is located on the coast.Carthage has six train stations of the TGM line between Le Kram and Sidi Bou Said: Carthage Salammbo (named for the ancient children’s cemetery where it stands), Carthage Byrsa (named for Byrsa hill), Carthage Dermech (Dermèche), Carthage Hannibal (named for Hannibal), Carthage Présidence (named for the Presidential Palace) and Carthage Amilcar (named for Hamilcar).

Le Kram is a town and commune in the Tunis Governorate of Tunisia. Situated between La Goulette, the port of Tunis, and Carthage, it opens onto the Gulf of Tunis to the east and the Lake of Tunis to the west. As of 2004 it had a population of 58,152. Before 2001, Le Kram was a municipal district within the municipality bordering La Goulette. The original name of the city was Aga El Kram; it was Gallicised as Le Kram. The word kram in Tunisian Arabic refers to a fig tree or a fruit tree in general. Professor Mohamed El Aziz Ben Achour says of the town's founder: "Mustapha Aga [...] living peacefully in his palace in the area of Carthage, in the midst of an extensive orchard with fig trees, the source of the name of the village which was established later in this location... " Ahmad I ibn Mustafa, Bey of Tunis under the suzerainty of the Ottoman Empire, gave this orchard to Mustafa Aga, who served from 1837 to 1855 as war minister in the Kingdom of Tunis. Under the French protectorate, Kram was home to many Europeans who built houses along the beach, some of them modest and others sumptuous. These villas have been replaced by military training centers and the residential area of Kram Salammbo. One can still admire some of the gardens that surrounded the houses; the oldest were built in an Islamic Tunisian style, while the larger homes of the bourgeoisie were built in a purely Italian style, exemplified by La Carmencita, a small villa located on the street Sakiet Sidi Youssef (formerly Rue Jules Ferry). The town was developed mainly as a result of the opening of the Tunis-Goulette-Marsa or TGM railway combining the Khereddine line and the La Goulette-Carthage Salammbô line. The center of Salammbô contains, among other curiosities, the remains of the port of Punic Carthage, the Tophet (or sacred area) of the ancient Carthaginians and the buildings of the Institute and Museum of Oceanography

The Cisterns of La Malga or Cisterns of La Mâalga are a group of cisterns, which are among the most visible features of the archaeological site of Carthage near Tunis, Tunisia. They are some of the best preserved Roman cisterns. The cisterns, with a capacity of 50,000–60,000 m3 (1,800,000–2,100,000 cu ft), received water from a branch of the Zaghouan Aqueduct (exactly which branch remains uncertain). They were designed to provide the water supply for Carthage, the most important city of Africa Proconsulare during the High Empire, and especially to supply the Baths of Antoninus. As part of the site of Carthage, the cisterns are classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. On 17 February 2012, the Tunisian government proposed that the whole Zaghouan-Carthage Roman hydraulic complex, of which they are a part, should be classed as a world heritage site.

Khereddine, also spelled Khéreddine or Kheireddine is a residential city in the northern suburbs of Tunis. Khereddine is linked to Tunis by the TGM railway.

Bet Mordechai Synagogue of La Goulette, also known as the Bessis Synagogue or the Hospital Synagogue is a synagogue located on Rue Khaznadar in La Goulette, a suburb of Tunis, Tunisia.
