Arroyo Grande Community Hospital

The Arroyo Grande Valley AVA is an American Viticultural Area located in San Luis Obispo County, California. It is part of the larger Central Coast AVA with the area composrd of sedimentary and volcanic soils over a layer of bedrock known as the Franciscan Complex. The 16 miles (26 km) long appellation benefits from its east-northeast orientation which allows the breeze from the Pacific Ocean to moderate the climate of the area. The valley is divided by a fog line produced by the cool coastal fogs where Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Rhône varietals are grown on the higher elevations near Lopez Lake and the cooler mid-valley vineyards being home to Chardonnay and Pinot noir.

Halcyon is an unincorporated community of about 125 acres (50 ha) in San Luis Obispo County, California, just south of Arroyo Grande. It was founded in 1903 as a Theosophical intentional community and is the home and headquarters of a religious organization, The Temple of the People (not to be confused with Jim Jones and the Peoples Temple). The Temple group was founded in 1898.

The Arroyo Grande IOOF Hall is a building in Arroyo Grande, California, that was built in 1902. The building housed the town's chapter of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, which was established in 1887. The order planned a two-story building with a storefront on the first floor; the building is one of the tallest in downtown Arroyo Grande. The sandstone building was designed in the Romanesque style and features segmentally arched windows and doors and a crenellated parapet with a large merlon in the center. In 1985, the Odd Fellows lodge disbanded, and the building is now owned by the South County Historical Society. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

Grover Beach is the location of the Pacific Crossing cable Landing station. This is where trans-pacific submarine cables come ashore and interface with the North American telecom network.

Oceano County Airport (FAA LID: L52) is a public airport located one mile (1.6 km) west of the central business district (CBD) of Oceano, in San Luis Obispo County, California, United States. The airport covers 58 acres (230,000 m2), and has one runway and no control tower. It is mostly used for general aviation, and is walking distance to the sand dunes that line the beach at Oceano.

Grover Beach station is a passenger rail station in the city of Grover Beach, California. It is served by two daily Amtrak Pacific Surfliner round trips The station opened on November 10, 1996 at a cost of $1.6 million. The project was coordinated by Caltrans, Amtrak and the city of Grover Beach with funding from State Transit Capital Improvement and Proposition 116 bonds.

Pismo State Beach is a beach on the Pacific coast in the U.S. state of California. It is approximately 17 miles long and fronts the towns of Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, and Oceano in San Luis Obispo County. It is managed by the California Department of Parks and Recreation. The area includes a beach and dunes.

Rancho Bolsa de Chamisal was a 14,335-acre (58.01 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day San Luis Obispo County, California given in 1837 by Governor Juan B. Alvarado to Francisco Quijada. The grant extended along the Pacific coast, just south of present-day Oceano, and was bordered on the north by Rancho Pismo and the south by Rancho Guadalupe.
