Lady Robinsons Beach is the stretch of beach between the mouth of the Cooks River and the mouth of Georges River on the western shore of Botany Bay in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Originally known as Seven Mile Beach, it was renamed after the wife of the then Governor, Sir Hercules Robinson. Isolated settlements separated from the beach by sand dunes were also given the name of Lady Robinson's Beach as their postal address. Being Sydney's longest beach, Lady Robinsons Beach is the eastern boundary of the area known as the St George District. It is also the eastern boundary of the Municipality of Rockdale and of the suburbs of Kyeemagh, Brighton-Le-Sands, Monterey, Ramsgate Beach, Sans Souci, Dolls Point and Sandringham.

Toomevara Lane Chinese Market Gardens is a heritage-listed market garden at Toomevara Lane, Kogarah, Bayside Council, New South Wales, Australia. It is also known as Rockdale Market Gardens and Chinese Market Gardens. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Ramsgate is a separate suburb, to the west.

Bicentennial Park South, currently known as Rockdale Ilinden Sports Centre, is a football (soccer) stadium in Rockdale, a suburb of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. The venue is owned by Bayside Council and is currently leased and operated by the Rockdale Ilinden Football Club who compete in various local competitions, along with the top tier of men's football in the state, the National Premier Leagues NSW. The stadium was an open field prior to a redevelopment which began in October 2008 and completed with an official opening in December 2009.

Bicentennial Park is a recreational area in Rockdale, a suburb of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. It features a bike track, athletics facilities and soccer and rugby league grounds. The park is divided into three sections known as Bicentennial Park North, Bicentennial Park South and Bicentennial Park East. Two ponds are linked by a creek to more wetlands in Scarborough park, to the south. A footbridge over the ponds links Bicentennial Park East to the rest of the recreational area. Bicentennial Park opened in 1988 and was named in honour of Australia's Bicentenary in that year. Bicentennial Park South Football Stadium opened in 2009 in time for the 2009 NSW Super League season. The Rockdale Ilinden Football Club became a tenant for 21 years. Geographically, Bicentennial Park East is located on the border of three suburbs, Monterey, Rockdale and Brighton-Le-Sands, but is officially in Brighton-Le-Sands according to the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales. It features two large soccer fields and one smaller one for juniors. Cricket pitches in the centre of the two large fields have been constructed for use in summer.

Ramsgate is a suburb in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 16 km south of the Sydney central business district. It is part of the St George area. Divided by Rocky Point Road, part of Ramsgate to the east of Rocky Point Road is in the local government area of the Bayside Council, whilst properties to the west of Rocky Point Road are in the Georges River Council. Ramsgate Beach is a separate suburb, to the east. Ramsgate is surrounded by the suburbs of Ramsgate Beach, Monterey, Kogarah, Beverley Park and Sans Souci.

Kogarah () is a suburb of Southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Kogarah is located 14 kilometres (9 miles) south-west of the Sydney central business district and is considered to be the centre of the St George area.

The City of Kogarah was a local government area in the St George region of southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The centre of the city is located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) south-west of the Sydney central business district and west of Botany Bay. The Municipality of Kogarah was established on 22 December 1885 and in 2008 Kogarah became the first local government area in New South Wales to become a city by popular vote. The city was bounded by the Illawarra railway line, Georges River, Rocky Point Road, Princes Highway and Harrow Road. The name Kogarah is Aboriginal, meaning place of reeds and takes its name from the reeds that grew in the inlets along the Georges River and at the head of Kogarah Bay. On 12 May 2016, the NSW Government announced that Kogarah and Hurstville councils would merge to form Georges River Council with immediate effect.

Georges River Council is a local government area located in the St George region of Sydney located south of the Sydney CBD, in New South Wales, Australia. The Council was formed on 12 May 2016 from the merger of the Hurstville City Council and Kogarah City Council.The Council comprises an area of 38.36 square kilometres (14.81 sq mi) and as at the 2021 census had a population of 152,274.The mayor of Georges River Council is Sam Elmir, who was elected by his fellow councillors on 25 September 2023.

The Kogarah ANZAC Memorial is a war memorial located in the town square, on Belgrave Street, of Kogarah, New South Wales, Australia. Located between St George Hospital and the Greek Orthodox Church, it was built to recognize the sacrifice of Australian nurses and the significance of Greek support towards the Australian troops during World War One. Unveiled on the 4th of March 2017, the memorial consists of an bronze injured soldier backed by the outline of a nurse in a metal frame. A bronze plaque details a history of Lemnos’s part in the landing of Gallipoli, a map of the hospitals, a list of each nation’s casualties, and a recognition of the 2 692 Australian nurses who volunteered to serve internationally. The statue was created by the Georges River Council's first Artist in Residence, Takis Kozokos, with the help of a grant from the Department of Veterans Affairs' ANZAC Centenary Local Grants Program.
