The Hôpital Charles-Foix is a public hospital from Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) located at 7 avenue de la République, in Ivry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne).On January 1, 2011, the two Pitié-Salpêtrière and Charles-Foix hospital groups were merged into a single hospital group.It is affiliated with Sorbonne University.

The Musée d'Art Contemporain du Val-de-Marne, nicknamed MAC/VAL, is a museum of contemporary art located in the Place de la Libération in Vitry-sur-Seine, Val-de-Marne, a suburb of Paris, France. It is open daily except Mondays; an admission fee is charged. The museum opened in 2005, and is dedicated to works of art from the 1950s to the present. Its building, designed by architect Jacques Ripault, encompasses a total of 13,000 m² floor space (including 2600 m² for permanent exhibitions, 1350 m² for temporary shows, 480 m² for its research center, and 700 m² for storerooms and workshops). It also contains an auditorium and cinema of 150 seats, and is set within 10,000 m² of public garden. Today the museum contains over a thousand works of artists active in France, including Martine Aballéa, Arman, Valérie Belin, Daniel Buren, Claude Closky, Delphine Coindet, Eugène Dodeigne, Erró, Hans Hartung, Pierre Huyghe, Véronique Joumard, Valérie Jouve, Bertrand Lamarche, Julio Le Parc, Annette Messager, François Morellet, Marylène Negro, Orlan, Bruno Perramant, Dominique Petitgand, Françoise Pétrovitch, Philippe Ramette, Judit Reigl, Pierre Soulages, Jean Tinguely, and Jean-Luc Vilmouth.

Mairie d'Ivry (French pronunciation: ​[mɛʁi divʁi]) is a station of the Paris Métro, serving Line 7 in the commune of Ivry-sur-Seine, opened on 1 May 1946, when the line was extended from Porte d'Ivry. The station serves as the southeastern terminus of Paris Métro Line 7.

The Institut des mondes africains (IMAF) is a French academic mixed and interdisciplinary research unit for African studies, in which the national reseach organisation CNRS (Centre national de la recherche scientifique), three other French national academic research institutions and two universities collaborate. The station is situated in the eastern side of Ivry-sur-Seine, in Val-de-Marne. Travelers can take RATP bus 125 and 323 to connect between this station and Mairie d'Ivry on Paris Métro Line 7.

Cité Gagarine was a housing project in Ivry-sur-Seine, France. It was built by the Communist Party of France government starting in 1961 and inaugurated in 1963, and was a symbol of the vibrancy of communism in France at the time. It was named for the Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, the first human who went to space. Gagarin attended the inauguration of the housing project in 1963.With the de-industrialization of France in the 1970s, the workforce that comprised the main part of the population of Cité Gagarine began to lose its employment, and voter affiliation with the Communist Party of France declined. Over the years, Cité Gagarine came to house more immigrants from outside of France.Cité Gagarine's demolition began in 2019 and took place over 16 months. The start of the demolition of the housing project drew crowds and made news both in France and internationally.A film made by writer-director duo Fanny Liatard and Jérémy Trouilh released in 2020, Gagarine, is set in the estate as it faces impending demolition, exploring themes of isolation and community in a magical realist manner.

Mairie de Vitry-sur-Seine station is an upcoming underground station on Line 15 of the Paris Métro. It is part of the Grand Paris Express project. The station is located in the town of Vitry-sur-Seine at the intersection of Rue Édouard-Tremblay and Avenue Maximilien-Robespierre. The station will serve as an interchange point between Line 15 and Île-de-France tramway Line 9, and will be located close to the Vitry-sur-Seine Town Hall (Mairie de Vitry-sur-Seine), Val-de-Marne Museum of Contemporary Art and Coteau-Marcel Rosette Park.
