Connaught Bridge Power Station is a combined cycle (2 gas turbines and 1 steam turbine) and open cycle ( 4 gas turbines) power station located near Kampong Java in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the oldest power station in the country. It was opened on 26 March 1953 by the High Commissioner for the Federation of Malaya, Sir Gerald Templer.

Sultan Sulaiman Royal Mosque (Malay: Masjid Diraja Sultan Sulaiman) is Selangor's royal mosque, which is located in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. It was constructed by the British in the early 1932 and was officially opened in 1933 by the late Almarhum Sultan Sir Alaeddin Sulaiman Shah. This mosque combines various types of architectural styles (such as Moorish and Art Deco) and interior and exterior designs not replicated in other mosques around the country. Sultan Sulaiman Mosque was the main state mosque of Selangor until the opening of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque in the new capital city of Shah Alam. Some of its interesting features include the Tangga Diraja (royal stairs) from Istana Alam Shah and a royal mausoleum. The late Sultan Salahuddin was buried in the mosque's grounds.

Klang or Kelang, officially Royal City of Klang (Malay: Bandaraya Diraja Klang), is a city, royal city and former capital of the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is located within the Klang District. It was the civil capital of Selangor in an earlier era prior to the emergence of Kuala Lumpur and the current capital, Shah Alam. Port Klang, which is located in the Klang District, is the 12th busiest transshipment port and the 12th busiest container port in the world.The Klang Royal City Council or Majlis Bandaraya Diraja Klang exercises jurisdiction for a majority of the Klang District while the Shah Alam City Council exercises some jurisdiction over the east of Klang District, north of Petaling District and the other parts of Selangor State including Shah Alam itself. As of 2010, the Klang City has a total population of 240,016 (10,445 in the city centre), while the population of Klang District is 842,146, and the population of all towns managed by Klang Municipal Council is 744,062, making it Selangor's second largest city.

Istana Alam Shah is the official palace of the Sultan of Selangor, located in southern Klang, the royal town of the state of Selangor, Malaysia.

The Klang Komuter station (formerly known as the Klang railway station) is a train station served by the KTM Komuter's Port Klang Line train service in Malaysia. It is located at Jalan Besar, in the southern area of Klang. Parallel to this station is a KTM depot for locomotive and for repairing of freight wagons. The Klang station is located close to the central part of Klang town. It is served by a dedicated taxi and mini bus service. Klang Komuter Station is within walking distance of Klang's Central Bus Hub, which provides connectivity to the whole of Klang and the surrounding areas. The main station building is a small single storied tiled roofed building that was originally built in 1890 but has undergone numerous renovation works; however, the Western colonial architecture of the station remains. Klang station has a side platform part of the main station building and an island platform reachable by a pedestrian bridge. Recently Klang station has undergone upgrades where taller, and wider canopies have been erected on its island platform to replace its narrower outdated versions. However, the main station building nor its facilities have yet to see any major upgrades. There is a new multi storey carpark, opened since 2019.

The Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery (Malay: Galeri Diraja Sultan Abdul Aziz) is a gallery in Klang District, Selangor, Malaysia. The gallery is about the former Selangor Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah. The Royal Gallery is currently chaired by then nephew of Salahuddin of Selangor, Tengku Indera Pahlawan Diraja Selangor (Yang Amat Dihormati Tengku Dato' Setia Putra Alhaj bin Tengku Azman Shah Alhaj).

Tugu Keris (Kris Monument) is a huge monument in the shape of a kris in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. Its construction was ordered by the Sultan of Selangor, Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of his reign on 30 September 1985.The monument is located at Klang Royal Gardens, opposite the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes Klang. Both the church and the monument is featured in the landmarks of Selangor list.

Sri Andalas is a township in Klang district in Selangor, Malaysia. It is located near Port Klang, one of the main ports of Malaysia.

Gurdwara Sahib Klang is a Sikh gurdwara located in the town of Klang in Selangor, Malaysia. It was constructed between November 1993 and late 1995. The total cost of the building was nearly RM 2,000,000 and out of which RM 100,000 was donated by the Prime Minister's Department. Donations were received from the Sikh Sangat from all over Malaysia to complete this project. Before residing at the current location in Jalan Bukit Jawa, it was relocated once, at Jalan Raya Barat beside the Majlis Perbandaran Klang (Klang Municipal Council) Headquarters. It is the main place of worship for Sikhs living in Klang. The gurdwara was officially opened by the sangat on February 17, 1996. The Sikh Holy Book, the Guru Granth Sahib, was respectfully taken in a procession from the previous Gurdwara Sahib in Jalan Raya Barat to its new location in Jalan Bukit Jawa. The Dasmesh Band headed by Sardar Sukhdev Singh led the procession. Akhand Path prayers were held on the following day. The top floor comprises the Darbar Sahib, which can accommodate about 1,000 people. The ground floor consists of a langar (dining hall), a kitchen, an office and a library, visitors' rooms and classrooms for holding Punjabi classes. The Granthi's quarters are located in a separate building adjacent to the Darbar Sahib.

Bandar Baru Klang (literal translation: Klang New Town) is a modern township located just 2 km away from the Klang town centre in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. Bandar Baru Klang is developed by the Acmar Group. The township falls under the jurisdiction of the Klang Municipal Council (MPK).
