Thai Philatelic Museum (Thai: พิพิธภัณฑ์ตราไปรษณียากร) is a postal museum in Phaya Thai District in Bangkok, Thailand. It was renovated and moved to the building behind the Samsen Nai post office at Saphan Khwai in December 2004. Among its exhibits are the awards Thai philatelists received from various international competitions together with photocopies of the winning entries, posters depicting rare Thai stamps, and winning postage stamp designs.

Saphan Khwai station (Thai: สถานีสะพานควาย, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː sā.pʰāːn kʰwāːj]) is a BTS skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Phaya Thai District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is located on Phahonyothin Road near Saphan Khwai intersection, the dense trade area with many shops, fresh markets and apartments, at the front of Saphan Khwai market and Paolo Memorial Hospital. Big C Supercenter (Saphan Khwai branch) and Thai Philatelic Museum (stamp museum) at Sam Sen Nai post office are located to the south of the station.

Pradiphat Road (Thai: ถนนประดิพัทธ์, RTGS: Thanon Pradiphat, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn prā.dī.pʰát]) is a road in Bangkok, Thailand, mainly in Phaya Thai sub-district, Phaya Thai district. Pradipat is a straight road approximately 2 km (1.2 mi) long.

Chatuchak (Thai: จตุจักร, pronounced [t͡ɕàʔ.tùʔ.t͡ɕàk]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Chatuchak District, Bangkok, Thailand. It is a location of the district office.

Or Tor Kor Market (Thai: ตลาด อ.ต.ก., RTGS: O To Ko) is a large fresh market in Bangkok, Thailand. Located opposite Chatuchak Weekend Market, Or Tor Kor sells a variety of produce and prepared foods. Opened in 1974, the market is operated by the Marketing Organization for Farmers (Thai: องค์การตลาดเพื่อเกษตรกร), and was listed by CNN as one of the top 10 fresh markets in the world in 2017. The market is especially known for premium fruit products, including durian and mango.

Kamphaeng Phet station (Thai: สถานีกำแพงเพชร, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː kām.pʰɛ̄ːŋ pʰét]) is a Bangkok MRT station on the Blue Line in Bangkok, Thailand. It is beneath Kamphaeng Phet Road (Thanon), providing a direct access to the Chatuchak Weekend Market and OrTorKor Market. Not to be confused with the town or province of Kamphaeng Phet. It has an underground mall that opened in early 2009. The preceding station is Bang Sue station and next station is Chatuchak Park. The road is named after Purachatra Jayakara, Prince of Kamphaeng Phet (Thai, พระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าบุรฉัตรไชยากร กรมพระกำแพงเพชรอัครโยธิน), the first Thai commander of State Railway of Thailand.

Kamphaeng Phet Road (Thai: ถนนกำแพงเพชร, RTGS: Thanon Kamphaeng Phet, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn kām.pʰɛ̄ːŋ pʰét]) is a road in Thailand capital Bangkok, there are currently eight branches. The road is a site of MRT Blue Line station Kamphaeng Phet.

Ari station (Thai: สถานีอารีย์, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː ʔāː.rīː]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Phaya Thai District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is on Phahonyothin Road at Soi Ari junction (Soi Phahon Yothin 7), an area with many office towers, apartments, food stalls, and restaurants. The headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Public Relations Department are also in the neighbourhood of Soi Ari near Rama VI Road, a short distance to the west of the station.

The Royal Thai Army Stadium (Thai: สนามกีฬากองทัพบก) is a multi-purpose stadium on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road in the Phaya Thai of north Bangkok, Thailand. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 20,000 and has a single stand with covered seating on one side and terracing on three sides. An athletics track surrounds the pitch. It is often used by Thai club sides in international football competitions and was used by Bangkok University FC in the 2007 AFC Champions League and Osotsapa FC in the 2007 AFC Cup. Additionally, it has been used for matches involving national sides in international tournaments hosted by Thailand where the hosts are not involved.Other stadiums in Bangkok include National Stadium, Rajamangala National Stadium, the Thai-Japanese Stadium, and Chulalongkorn University Stadium.

The Chatuchak Weekend Market (Thai: ตลาดนัดจตุจักร, RTGS: Talatnat Chatuchak ), on Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road, Chatuchak, Bangkok, is the largest market in Thailand. Also known as JJ Market, it has more than 15,000 stalls and 11,505 vendors (2019), divided into 27 sections. Chatuchak Market sells many different kinds of goods, including plants, antiques, consumer electronics, cosmetics, pets, fresh and dry food and drinks, ceramics, furniture and home accessories, clothing, and books.It is the world's largest and most diverse weekend market, with over 200,000 visitors every weekend.

Ari, also spelled Aree (Thai: อารีย์, pronounced [ʔaː.riː]), is a soi (alley) and residential neighbourhood in Bangkok, Thailand. Today, it is a trendy area popular among younger generations, especially teenagers and young adults. The area is lined with stylish cafés and bakeries, modern restaurants, and leading community-style mall. It is also home to various government offices, including the Ministry of Finance, the State Audit Office, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Public Relations Department. Most of these offices are located toward the end of the soi. The neighbourhood lies within the Phaya Thai district, centered around Soi Ari (Phahonyothin Soi 7), in an area locally known as Sanam Pao. It has been featured by a number of media outlets including Bloomberg News as one of the best neighbourhoods to travel to in Bangkok, and The New York Times as one of the 47 best in the world. At the entrance of Soi Ari is Ari station (N5), a BTS Skytrain station located above Phahonyothin Road. The station provides convenient access to the neighbourhood. According to those who lived in this area during the 1950s and 1960s, it was once a quiet residential neighbourhood for aristocrats, old families, and high-ranking government officials. It had yet to become the bustling commercial district it is today. Development in the area began as part of Bangkok's urban expansion outward from the city center, especially after the extension of Phahonyothin Road, turning this neighbourhood into part of the city's new frontier. Back then, local businesses were simple and modest, mainly small eateries and traditional coffee shops. There were no upscale restaurants or trendy venues. The site where the headquarters of Kasikornbank (KBank) now stands was once just an open vegetable garden. Located in the Ari is Suan Bua School, a long-established kindergarten and primary school. Even though most of the students lived nearby, school buses were still provided. Baan Yoswadi, one of the area's first condominium buildings was founded by Thanpuying Yosawadi Ampornapisarn in the late 1970s. It is considered one of the earliest condominiums in Thailand and is still in operation today. Ari Samphan is another nearby soi located near the end of Soi Ari, alongside the Khlong Prapa (water supply canal). It contains several small lanes and provides a connection to Soi Ratchakhru, also known as Phahonyothin Soi 5.

On 28 March 2025, an under-construction building intended for the State Audit Office collapsed in Bangkok, Thailand, following a devastating earthquake that occurred in Myanmar. It resulted in 92 confirmed deaths and 9 injuries, while 4 workers remained unaccounted for as of 14 May 2025. Already topped-out, the building was 30% complete and, at the time of collapse, undergoing piping and glass wall installation. The skyscraper was the only building affected by the earthquake in Thailand, and the collapse was one of the deadliest single instances of structural failure in Thailand's history.
