Children's Discovery Museum Bangkok 1, or formerly known as Bangkok Children's Discovery Museum (Thai: พิพิธภัณฑ์เด็กกรุงเทพมหานคร แห่งที่ 1, พิพิธภัณฑ์เด็กกรุงเทพ) is a museum in Bangkok, Thailand, considered as the first museum and learning centre for children in Thailand and Southeast Asia. It is situated on the southern edge of Queen Sirikit Park, opposite Sunday Market (an ornamental fish Market, part of Chatuchak Weekend Market). It was founded after the initiation of H.M.Queen Sirikit in order for Thai youth to receive a broader learning. Dr.Bhichit Rattakul governor of Bangkok at the time, took action under H.M.instruction, by arranging part of Queen Sirikit Garden (about 2 acres in size) to build the Children's Discovery Museum. The project started in early 2000, and finished in mid-2001, during the time when Samak Sundaravej was the governor of Bangkok. The museum consists of 3 exhibiting buildings, a conference room and service areas indoor and outdoor. The total area is more than 10,000 square metres. It is utilized for activities, learning and recreation. The Bangkok Children's Discovery Museum Foundation in order to provide services and learning with the highest quality and efficiency.

Kamphaeng Phet Road (Thai: ถนนกำแพงเพชร, RTGS: Thanon Kamphaeng Phet, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn kām.pʰɛ̄ːŋ pʰét]) is a road in Thailand capital Bangkok, there are currently eight branches. The road is a site of MRT Blue Line station Kamphaeng Phet.

Mo Chit Station (Thai: สถานีหมอชิต, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː mɔ̌ː t͡ɕʰít]) is a BTS Skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Chatuchak District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is on the Phahon Yothin Highway between Soi Phahon Yothin 18 and Soi Phahon Yothin 20. The station is named after the former Mo Chit Bus Terminal, which previously occupied the area, and was the northern terminus of the Sukhumvit Line until 9 August 2019 when Ha Yaek Lat Phrao BTS station opened.

J.J Mall is a large shopping complex in the heart of the Chatuchak district in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located next to the weekend market. (J.J Market). The whole area has become a single vast building site and all shop zones are interlinked. They use the slogan: Everything For You The mall is a 7-storey building comprising 4 stories of shopping zones and 3 floors of parking, for more than 2,000 vehicles including open-air parking for buses.

The (old) Mo Chit Bus Terminal was the main bus station serving northern and northeastern routes of long-distance buses travelling to and from Bangkok. It was active from 1967 to 1998, when its operations moved to the Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak), which then became known as New Mo Chit. The site of the old bus station now serves as the main depot of the BTS skytrain system, as well as one of its parking areas. It also lends its name to the BTS's Mo Chit station, which stands in front of the depot.

Chatuchak Park station (Thai: สถานีสวนจตุจักร, RTGS: Sathani Suan Chatuchak, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː sǔa̯n t͡ɕàʔ.tùʔ.t͡ɕàk]) is a Bangkok MRT station on the Blue Line. It is located under the eastern part of Chatuchak Park. It is also located near the eastern exit of the Chatuchak Weekend Market. It is an important interchange station of northern Bangkok because passengers can connect to BTS Sukhumvit Line at Mo Chit station. The symbol color, which is decorated on the pillars, is blue.

Kamphaeng Phet station (Thai: สถานีกำแพงเพชร, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː kām.pʰɛ̄ːŋ pʰét]) is a Bangkok MRT station on the Blue Line in Bangkok, Thailand. It is beneath Kamphaeng Phet Road (Thanon), providing a direct access to the Chatuchak Weekend Market and OrTorKor Market. Not to be confused with the town or province of Kamphaeng Phet. It has an underground mall that opened in early 2009. The preceding station is Bang Sue station and next station is Chatuchak Park. The road is named after Purachatra Jayakara, Prince of Kamphaeng Phet (Thai, พระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าบุรฉัตรไชยากร กรมพระกำแพงเพชรอัครโยธิน), the first Thai commander of State Railway of Thailand.

On 28 March 2025, an under-construction building intended for the State Audit Office collapsed in Bangkok, Thailand, following a devastating earthquake that occurred in Myanmar. It resulted in 92 confirmed deaths and 9 injuries, while 4 workers remained unaccounted for as of 14 May 2025. Already topped-out, the building was 30% complete and, at the time of collapse, undergoing piping and glass wall installation. The skyscraper was the only building affected by the earthquake in Thailand, and the collapse was one of the deadliest single instances of structural failure in Thailand's history.

Chatuchak (Thai: จตุจักร, pronounced [t͡ɕàʔ.tùʔ.t͡ɕàk]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Chatuchak District, Bangkok, Thailand. It is a location of the district office.

Or Tor Kor Market (Thai: ตลาด อ.ต.ก., RTGS: O To Ko) is a large fresh market in Bangkok, Thailand. Located opposite Chatuchak Weekend Market, Or Tor Kor sells a variety of produce and prepared foods. Opened in 1974, the market is operated by the Marketing Organization for Farmers (Thai: องค์การตลาดเพื่อเกษตรกร), and was listed by CNN as one of the top 10 fresh markets in the world in 2017. The market is especially known for premium fruit products, including durian and mango.

Queen Sirikit Park is a botanical garden in Chatuchak District, Bangkok, Thailand. Covering an area of 0.22 km2, it is part of the larger Chatuchak Park complex. It was established in 1992 and named after Sirikit, Queen of Thailand to celebrate her 60th birthday. It contains many fountains and pools where lotus flowers bloom. The park has a high biodiversity in an ecosystem which has a great variety of plants and butterflies. There is a great variety of banana cultivars, a great variety of palm tree cultivars, a great variety of hibiscus, a great variety of lotus, more than 200 species of waterlilies, a great variety of new species of plant in the world, a great variety of coconut cultivars, a great variety of bamboo cultivars, and a great variety of rare plants as well as plants endemic to Thailand.

Saphan Khwai station (Thai: สถานีสะพานควาย, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː sā.pʰāːn kʰwāːj]) is a BTS skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Phaya Thai District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is located on Phahonyothin Road near Saphan Khwai intersection, the dense trade area with many shops, fresh markets and apartments, at the front of Saphan Khwai market and Paolo Memorial Hospital. Big C Supercenter (Saphan Khwai branch) and Thai Philatelic Museum (stamp museum) at Sam Sen Nai post office are located to the south of the station.
